Athena did not know how dangerous a case she had rejected. After resting at home for two days, she went to school to take the midterm exams.
As she rarely came to the school and was not penalized for it, a few students in the class were dissatisfied with this and felt that she was given special privileges and that the school had double standards.
However, when the results were out, the entire class was stunned.
A girl exclaimed, "Full marks for all of them? No way. She was only here for a few classes. Did she cheat?"
A boy remarked, "I didn't believe it either, so I went to check Athena's exam papers. There were no problems with them."
Someone said, "Although she has a brain like us, the difference between our intelligence is enormous."
All the students sighed in unison. From then on, no one complained about Athena's frequent absence from school.
Athena left the classroom after receiving the results. She played with her phone while heading to the library, intending to borrow a few books home to read.
When she walked along the tree-lined path at the side of the library, she suddenly sensed something and stopped in her tracks. She put down her phone and looked ahead.
A tall and straight figure in a military uniform seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. He strode toward her steadily.
The warm sunlight fell on him adoringly like bees drawn to the fragrance of flowers. It surrounded him like a halo, as if this way, they would not be swallowed by the darkness.
As he approached, Athena had a feeling.
The young man in front of her was like a mountain. Even though he looked ordinary, he still retained an indomitable aura and bearing. He was also like a pillar in the deep ocean. No matter how big were the waves that washed up against him, nothing could knock him down.
Athena was stunned for a moment.
The young man quickly walked to Athena, stood at attention, and saluted to her. His voice was powerful, yet warm and gentle. "Hello, Athena. I'm your third brother, Zayn Donovan. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Athena straightened and saluted too. She said loudly, "Hello, Zayn. I'm Athena. It's an honor to meet you."
She wasn't being polite. Because Zayn was a special forces soldier, there were no photos of him at home after he was enlisted. There were only photos of him as a young student from many years ago. However, Athena had heard from her family about Zayn's deeds and respected him.
Now that she saw Zayn, she thought he looked even more capable than she imagined. His military bearing instantly won her over, especially since he had a lot medals on his uniform.
Zayn smiled and put down his hand. His gaze was as gentle as the morning sun. "Although I'm late, I have to say, welcome home."
Although he was very calm when he saw her, Athena could see the joy and satisfaction in the depths of his eyes. Touched, she opened her arms. "Zayn, welcome home too."
Zayn was stunned for a few seconds. Then, he lowered his gaze and hugged her. His voice was slightly hoarse as he said, "Thanks."
The students who passed by them stopped and watched curiously. They even took photos.

When Zayn heard their talk, he let go of Athena and looked at everyone. He said calmly, "I'm Athena's third brother, Zayn Donovan. I just retired from the army."
When the students heard this, they immediately became respectful and apologized, "I'm sorry. We misunderstood. We'll leave you be."
One of them said, "Wow. Zayn, you're so handsome. You're much more mature than Alaric. Can we take a photo together?"
A girl said, "I'm so envious of Athena. All her brothers are so handsome. Why don't I have such a handsome brother? It is so unfair."
"Oh my god. Is that a Hero's Medal?" a boy said in surprise, "If I'm not wrong, he has First Class, Second Class, and Third Class Hero's Medals. That's amazing."
