Athena thought, 'Zayn is really photogenic, right? He looks good from all angles. Even when it is taken from the side at a diagonal position below his face, his contours are smooth and well-defined, exuding a strong artistic vibe. Plus, not only does he look tall and slim in the photos, but his face appears smaller. He can totally be a model! I took so many pictures, and not a single one is a waste. They can all be used. It's just incredible...'
While Athena was admiring these photos, Jaden could no longer hold on. He dropped the punching bag and went easy on himself. He held onto the pillar of the pavilion with both hands and panted as he said, "I, I can't take it anymore. Take your time practicing..."
Zayn also stopped, draping a towel over his shoulders. "You rest for a while," he said. "I'll take a shower first. Athena, you worked hard this morning. Have a good rest too."
Athena nodded and said, "Once you're done showering, I'll drive you around Kitmore City."
Zayn initially intended to help out at the restaurant today, but Claire wouldn't allow it. She ordered him to rest for a few days and at least explore Kitmore City to observe how it had changed.
So, Athena took the initiative to drive Zayn around to explore the city.
But just as they were about to head out an hour later, Jaden received a call. After finishing the call, he frowned and said to Athena, "It was Lindsey, Luna's assistant, calling me.
"Lindsey said Luna started her period yesterday. Last night, Luna was in so much pain that she rolled around in bed. After taking painkillers, she felt even worse and needed to see a doctor. But it's not convenient for them to go to the county hospital, so they could only come to Kitmore City to find a trusted private doctor. She might have to recuperate for more than ten days before she can go back.
"I asked a few more questions. Lindsey said this is Luna's chronic issue, and it's been going on for two years. Her period either doesn't come for two to three months, or when it does, it lasts for two to three weeks. Taking medicine can only relieve it but not cure it."
He hesitated for a moment before asking, "I want to know if it would be okay for you to ask that skilled Dr. Annie to check on Luna?"
Athena smiled and said, "I can check on Luna. Just tell me where she is, and I'll go right now."
Jaden did not dwell on the question of whether or not Athena could treat patients. He smiled. "Thank you."
An hour later, Athena met Luna at an upscale private clinic.
Luna was lying on the bed, looking rather weak. Her face was pale, clearly suffering significantly from her period.
Athena did not ramble on. She assessed Luna's condition and came up with a diagnosis on the spot. Then, she reviewed her medical reports and history before giving her a prescription. "Follow this prescription," she said. "Stick to the dietary and lifestyle requirements. Keep your mood relaxed. I guarantee that from next month onward, your period will come and go on time. After sticking to three treatment courses, your period will return to normal, and your issues with anemia, insomnia, and hair loss will also improve."
Luna was hesitant about Athena's medical skills.
However, this was a kind gesture from Jaden and his sister. She still accepted it with a mindset of giving it a try. "Thank you. I'll try my best to stick to it."
Athena saw through her thoughts and smiled. "I'll prepare the medicine for you now. Consume it in two separate intakes and see the effect tomorrow."
The effect was great.
After drinking it, Luna felt much more at ease in her abdomen and the pain had lessened. She slept well at night.
When she woke up the next morning, she could get out of bed and walk. She even ate a bowl of oatmeal and a boiled egg.
Lindsey clicked her tongue in wonder. "This prescription is incredibly effective. Luna, maybe your chronic issue can really be cured."
Luna also said in surprise, "I didn't expect Athena to have such amazing medical skills at such a young age. It's really unbelievable."
She touched her belly and said with a hint of regret, "It's a pity that I'm here and can't eat the dishes from Jaden and the Donovan family's restaurant..."
Right after she said that, there was a knock on the door.
She turned around and was delighted to see Jaden appear at the doorway with a three-tier thermal food container in his hand.
"I know you haven't had much of an appetite, so I made your favorite strained yogurt and some side dishes," Jaden said with a smile. "Let me know what you want to eat in the next few days, and I'll make it for you."
Luna looked at him in a daze, feeling a bit teary. "Thank you..."
She wanted to say things like "You're so kind to me", "You know me well", "I needed you, and you showed up" or "What should I do to thank you", but she couldn't bring herself to say a single word.
