As far as she knew, one of the experts was on vacation, one was recuperating, and the other was in seclusion doing research. They probably wouldn't have time to check their private emails anytime soon. On another note, she wasn't going to tell them she'd sent them a paper.
Subsequently, she split the 10 thousand-word paper into three that consisted of thousands of words each. The focus of each paper was different, but all three were closely related topics.
Athena first used her email to send one of the short papers to Dr. Simpson.
After a good night's sleep, she passed on the second short paper to her subordinates in Uroterin and asked them to send it to Dr. Simpson via email.
Another day later, she sent the third short paper to her subordinates in Aeloria and asked them to send it to Dr. Simpson in the same manner.
That was how Dr. Simpson was going to receive three papers on the same subject at different times, from different countries, and from different senders.
'Would he consolidate the three papers into one, take them for himself, and publish them publicly?' Athena thought for a second.
She bet that he would.
She lazily stretched her back in high spirits and yawned, picked up her bag, and walked out of the villa to have a big meal at the restaurant.
It would be Christmas in a few days. The restaurant was going to be on holiday starting tomorrow and wouldn't open until December 28th.
Those who were free at home had all gone to the restaurant to help out. Athena wanted to join in the fun, too.
Brandon wasn't at the restaurant right then but at a cafe.
He sat at the bar counter and looked at a noble-looking young gentleman, whose hair was slickly combed back and had his suit jacket unbuttoned. Brandon gazed at him sharply and spoke calmly, "So, you're Mr. Tommy Giggs?"
Tommy was a famous young investor in the country.
What he was especially famous for was that he looked for investees and would never fund those who came to him.
Up until now, he had not suffered any major losses in his investments. He had only experienced minute losses and huge profits.
Tommy sat on a high stool and crossed his legs elegantly. He played with the wine glass in his hand and smiled wilily. "You bet I am. Take a seat and order whatever you want to drink."
Brandon took out a bottle of stout from the freezer under the glass bar and opened it. "Mr. Giggs, since you took the initiative to call me to discuss a collaboration, you must know that I just came out of school and have nothing to offer you. What do you see in me that made you want to invest in me?"
