Kerise walked in with a bulging food bag and pressed the light switch. Then, she said in surprise, "Elsie?
"Why didn't you turn on the lights at home? Also, why are you sitting on the floor with your hair disheveled? Get up now. I've brought your favorite cake and roast fish."
Elsie slowly opened her eyes and looked straight at Kerise through her brown hair. She said hoarsely, "I saw the video on my phone. Why did you go to Zayn?
"He didn't do anything wrong. It's been so many years. Why can't you let him off?"
Kerise's smile instantly turned cold. "Are you accusing me of being a bad person?
"I raised you alone painstakingly and devoted all my efforts to you. Now that you've become a famous announcer and host, you're accusing me of being a bad person, huh?"
"That's not what I meant!" Elsie shook her head with tears in her eyes. "I'm just saying that we've gotten so many benefits from Zayn and are living well. Can we leave him alone now?
"He doesn't owe us anything..."

She read the line of words in an extremely mean and mocking voice. "Today, I finally saw him. He's still so righteous and handsome. I believe this must be a chance to make up for it."
After reading it, Kerise roared, "I worked so hard to raise you, and you just lied to me like this?"
Elsie looked at her in shock. "You, you peeked at my Facebook?
"You promised me you'd never check my phone..."
"You lied to me first!" Kerise did not feel she was in the wrong. She yelled hysterically, "If you didn't do anything shameful, why didn't you dare to let me check your phone?"
