As usual, Donovan's restaurant was closed for three days.
The Donovan family was headed to the countryside for a few days. Unfortunately, Alaric was setting off to go overseas for two months of training and could not travel with his family.
Alaric hugged Claire and cried reluctantly. "I don't want to go overseas. I want to stay here with you. I'm going to spend Advent Sunday overseas and alone. I can't live like that."
Claire twisted his ears. "Alright, stop acting like a big baby. It wasn't easy for your tennis club to get you this opportunity. Work hard when you get there. Don't worry about our family. You're graduating next semester, so don't delay your coursework."
Alaric sniffled. "I'm not worried about our family, but you guys must always keep me in mind."
Then, he went to hug Athena. "Athena, I'll be gone for two years. Don't forget me."
Alaric considered how every month felt like a year. The next two months were definitely going to feel like two years.
"Alright, alright." Athena patted his head. "If you miss home, video call us. We'll have delicious food delivered to you regularly."
Alaric's tennis club, after much effort, finally persuaded a world-famous tennis coach to coach him.
This coach had been a Grand Slam champion and had very high expectations of his apprentices. If Alaric caught his eye, it meant that he had great potential.
However, this coach had only been available for the past two months. Alaric had to seek him out now before it was too late. The coach would not wait for him.
Alaric said, "Athena, don't take advantage of the fact that I'm not around to allow an ordinary man to whisk you away. Especially one who's not as handsome, extraordinary, or devoted as me."
Athena did not know whether to laugh or cry. "You're overthinking. I'll also be very busy, okay? When will I have the time to fall in love?"
Alaric glared at Arthur again. "I know it bothers you that I'm more popular than you, but I'm seriously warning you. Don't use this opportunity to badmouth me, tarnish my reputation, and ruin the good impression the female members of our family have of me."
Arthur kicked him and threw his luggage at him. "Get lost."
Alaric stepped back, got in the car, and left.
The Donovan family then set off to the countryside in a few cars. They arrived at the estates, went to the family's farm stay, and immediately sat to enjoy some broth.
Not many sheep were raised on the Donovan's Farmland, so mutton was only served on special occasions.
It was a holiday today, so all the guests in the estate were lucky enough to be served the first batch of mutton from the farm. Everyone tasted the mutton and praised its flavor, saying, "It's so succulent." Unfortunately, there was a limited amount on each table, and the mutton finished quickly.
When Zayn appeared, many guests screamed and waved their hands. "Zayn is here. I can see Zayn!"
"Damn, I have dinner here almost every weekend, and it has not been in vain. I finally get to see Zayn, " one of the guests said.
Another guest asked, "Zayn, can I take a photo with you and get an autograph?"
