Outside the entrance of Vission Resort, both Athena's car and Matthew's luxury vehicle were parked.
Matthew, ever the gentleman, asked, "Miss Donovan, would you mind if I ride with you and you give me a lift?"

Arthur quickly spoke up, "I'll ride with Josie in Athena's car."
As her brother, he instinctively felt that this too-handsome Matthew might not have the best intentions. He needed to keep an eye on things.
Athena nodded. "Alright. Mom, Dad, you can ride in the car with Louis."
Wesley and Claire exchanged a quick glance, subtly sizing up Matthew before agreeing. "Sure."
It was clear that Matthew's intentions weren't entirely straightforward, but he seemed respectful and wasn't like the other wealthy types who were at the party. As long as Athena didn't mind, they saw no need to interfere.
As soon as Athena got into the driver's seat, Matthew casually opened the passenger door, slid in, and buckled up.
Arthur shot him a discreet glare, thinking, 'How does this guy move so fast?'
Reluctantly, he got into the back seat with Josie, silently vowing, 'I'm watching you—don't even think about trying anything with Athena.'
Once everyone was buckled in, Athena started the car.
The drive was smooth and steady.
Matthew didn't make small talk. Instead, he quietly observed the car's interior. The upholstery felt luxurious, almost like genuine leather, but he knew it wasn't.
Taking advantage of Athena's focus on driving, he discreetly pulled out a small knife and lightly ran it along the seat and side panel near his right leg.
A faint scratch appeared but quickly smoothed out, leaving no trace.
Next, he took out a lighter, shielding it from view with his body and the seat back, and carefully applied the flame to the same area.
A slight scorch mark appeared where the flame touched.
But after he extinguished the lighter, he simply wiped the spot with his hand, and the mark vanished completely, leaving the surface flawless.
