Days passed and Anna still can't forget what had happened between her and Joel. She had tried to remain calm after that half-sex. They had even had a proper Yoga session without any awkwardness, but immediately he left, and she collapsed.
She felt ashamed of herself and began worrying about what he thought about her. She blamed herself for relenting easily that day and made it seem like she was an easy girl.
Anna dropped her eating utensil on the plate and buried her face in her palms again for the fourth time since she woke up.
She had been avoiding yoga and had only focused on work, but even so, she still couldn't stop her mind from thinking about him. The feeling was too much and it was driving her crazy and so many questions she couldn't answer kept on popping in her head.
“What does he think of her now?”
“Did he think of her as someone cheap? But…She was not cheap! She had only become that way because she liked him. What to do?” She muttered to herself.
Anna went shopping for vegetables and other food ingredients that had finished. As she walked back to her apartment struggling with the heavy bags, she suddenly felt her hands being freed.
Startled, she looked up and was stunned to see Joel who had a scrowl on his face like she owed him a billionaire dollar.
“What?! Keep up!” He snapped at her then walked forward making Anna smile confusingly but also jog to keep up with him.
Immediately she pinned in her code on the door and its opened, Joel put down the bags and turned around to look at her with a cold look which stunned Anna.
“Why didn't you come to the gym?” He asked in a cold tone causing shivers down Anna’s spine.
She looked at him, then opened her mouth to say something but then closed it again. She sighed heavily then tilted her head to the side as she gave an awkward laugh.
“Busy!” She gave a sharp respond but its seems its didn't sit well with Joel as his frown deepened.
He walked closer to her, but she moved back, widening the gap between them while also avoiding his eyes, until her back hit the wall.
“Ouch!” She yelped from the pain but felt a huge body cover hers.
She gulped nervously and managed to look up, but when she met his angry eyes, she immediately lowered her head and only looked at his chest.
“Are you avoiding me, Anna?” He pressed on as he cornered her, leaving no space for her to escape.
Anna was stunned, her eyes surged with different emotions, but then became calm again, she laughed gently, then shook her head and muttered a silent,
“No!”
“Then look at me when talking, why do you avoid my gaze? Am I that scary, or are you guilty?” He asked, then reached for her chin, raising it so he could see her expression.
Anna somehow got lost as she met his intense eyes, it was like he was about to suck her soul and that feeling left her breathless. Her heart shook and her lower abdomen curled. She felt goosebumps on her body and that feeling irritated her.
There it was again. How could he be so calm while she was being tortured? She didn't want this!
She gulped then slapped his hand away from her chin gently, secretly tightening her hand on her cloth then closed her eyes to calm her breathing.
“I’m not avoiding you, Instructor Joel. Like I said, I have been busy! Besides, you also didn't look for me after that day, so why should you be angry?” She snapped at him irritatedly then turned to walk around him, picking up a bag of fruit to arrange in her refrigerator.
“Ahhh—! What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Anna snapped as she was being pulled by Joel to the couch.
She looked at him with fire in her eyes, but Joel acted like he didn't see it as he made her sit on the couch while he crunched down in front of her with his hands on her lap.
He pouted his lips and narrowed his eyes which were fixed on her face, then he smirked sexily.
Anna’s body tensed up when she saw his smirk, her mouth went dry and her eyes became hot as they stared dazingly at his handsome face. Her face turned red the more she looked at him and her breathing quicken.
“You want me, right?” His voice snapped her out of her imagination.
“Huh?” she asked as she tilted her head in confusion.
Looking at her cute expression, Joel’s eyes fired up with passion. He licked his lips then placed his thumb on her lips, grazing it around and causing tickles that made her let out an uncontrollable gasp.
“I said—” He stopped and with his hot, passionate eyes still fixed on hers, he leaned closer to her until their noses touched and his warm breath attacked her face, then he continued, “You also want me, right?”

“Ummph!” She widened her eyes in surprise as his thumb which had interrupted her grazed her gums.
