As the days went by, Aaru found herself feeling increasingly trapped by Rohan's possessiveness.
He would question her about every conversation, every meeting, every interaction with her colleagues.
Aaru tried to reassure him, to tell him that she loved him and would never betray his trust.
But Rohan's doubts only seemed to grow, fueled by his own insecurities and fears.
One evening, as they were cooking dinner together, Rohan's phone buzzed with a notification.
Aaru glanced over, seeing a text from an unknown number.
"Who's that?" Rohan asked, his eyes narrowing.
Aaru hesitated, feeling a twinge of unease. "I don't know. It's just a spam message."
Rohan's expression darkened. "Don't lie to me, Aaru. I can see the number. It's a guy's number."
Aaru sighed inwardly. Why was Rohan being so paranoid? "Rohan, I swear it's just a wrong number."
But Rohan's face remained stern. "I don't believe you."
Aaru felt a surge of frustration. "Rohan, stop this. You're being ridiculous."
Rohan's eyes flashed with anger. "I'm just trying to protect you."
Aaru realized that Rohan's possessiveness had crossed a line. She needed to take a stand, to assert her independence and individuality.
But as she looked into Rohan's eyes, she saw a glimmer of fear and insecurity.
And Aaru's heart went out to him. She loved him, and she wanted to help him overcome his demons.
