The party is in full swing. All guests are here and I and my friends are enjoying ourselves with a glass of drink in our hands.
" The party is amazing," Dev said taking a sip. I smirk moving my gaze around the huge hall filled with people all the royals are present here.
" Yuvraj Maharaj is calling you" a servant informed me and I nodded placing the glass on bar standing up straight adjusting my suit.
" Looks like Maharaj has found someone for you," Soham said and Dev and Karthik nodded, I raise my eyebrow and bitting my lower lip.
Let's see whom has Maharaj found for me.
I turned and made my way towards the Maharaj and the people greeted me as I pass them and I smirk come on my face.
" Yuvraj " Maharaj smiled as I stand beside him. There is man and beside him a girl is standing probably my age.
" Meet him my friend Maharaj of Suraygarh" I greeted him.
" And she is his daughter Princess Lavanya" she is standing beside his father wearing a gown. She softly smile at me, I smiled back.
She is nice, beautiful and graceful but I'm not getting any special vibes from her.
" Yuvraj why not you show the Palace to the Princess" Maharani suggested.
I don't want to do this but I can't avoid what Ma asked.
" Why not! Come Princess" I smiled at her showing her the way and she smiled.

We are walking in the balcony of Palace with my hands in my trousers pockets. There is silence the light breeze of wind coming.
" Congratulations Yuvraj"
" Thanks"
She start conversation and I was giving answers to the Princess in yes and no. Why is she not understanding? I'm not interested in talking with her.
I think she understands that's why she stops talking ahhh peace.
I wonder who my Princess will be? Will she talk all day or answer when I asked something? Will her talking give me peace or headache? What will her voice be like?
Finally, we come back to the main hall and went where our parents are standing.
" How was the Palace?" Ma asked her.
" It's beautiful," she said smiling looking down.
Ma and she engaged in a conversation and I go to where my friends are standing.
" So how was it?" Karthik asked raising his eyebrows.
" Did you like the Princess?" Dev asked.
" She is nice but not the one for me" I shrugged.
" Ohh," they all said.
After some time the party went over.

Morning
Outside Palace
I jumped inside the water and it splashed I swim to the side and come on the edge and grabbed the glass of wine which was placed there.
" Where is Soham?" I asked when I didn't see him around.
" Don't know?" Dev shrugged.
Suddenly we heard the sound of a clarinet and look in the direction of it. Soham is standing there with a person who is playing the clarinet.
" Attention everyone," he said and open the piece of paper which he held in his hands.
" You are cordially invited to attend the engagement party of our beloved son Yuvraj of Madhavgarh Rehan Pratap Singh with Princess of Suraygarh Rajkumari Lavanya. Come and bless them. "
Engagement?

No.
I hurriedly come out of the pool and snatch the card from Soham hands and read it, it's indeed our engagement invitation.
No this can't happen I don't want to marry Lavanya.
" Where did you get it?" I asked Soham.
" Maharani gave it to me," he replied.
The attended come beside me with a robe I hurriedly wore it and went to my room and changed my clothes then I went to Ma's room but she is not there.
I come out of her room and run my hand through my hair in frustration
" Yuvraj do you need something?" A servant asked me.
" Where is Maharani?"
" She is in the garden" I nodded and goes towards the garden.
Ma is sitting at the table in the garden I go towards her.
" Yuvraj come join me," she smiled and getsured me to sit and I sat beside her.
A maid serves me a cup of tea.
" Ma I want to talk to you"
" I know about what do you want to talk about," Ma said placing the cup down.
" You knew," I asked raising eyebrows.
" Yes, I gave the engagement news to your friend I know you must be here talking about it," she said.
" You came here to thank me?" she asked smiling.
" No Ma, I came here to say I don't want to marry Lavanya"
" What!" Ma exclaimed in shock.
" But you and Lavanya look happy together"
" Ma this is because she was our guest and I don't want her to feel unwelcomed but it isn't mean that I like her"
" Ma you can ask me for once" I groaned.
" It's not my decision Rehan it's decided by your father"
" Ma talk with him ask him to cancel the engagement" I requested.
" This can't happen now" she shook her head closing her eyes.
" Why?"
" The cards are already distributed and your father promised Maharaj of Suraygarh about this marriage now nothing can happen"
" But Ma "
" It's ok I know you must be thinking that everything is happening fast but you'll fall in love with Lavanya after marriage " she assured me and I just hummed looking down.

Room
" I can't do anything "
" The cards are already distributed and your father promised to the Maharaj of Surajgarh"
" You'll fall in love with her after marriage"
I'm standing in the balcony of my room because I'm not able to sleep with so many things running in my mind.
I take out my phone and called my friends soon they are here and I sat up at the edge of bed and told them everything.
" What can we do?" Dev asked shrugging his shoulders.
" We need to do something so the engagement and our alliance both get cancelled," I said.
" But why? And how do we do this?"
" That's why I called you all here," I said irritated.
" The promised is made by your father," Karthik reminded.
" The one who can overpower your father word is his mother," Dev said and I look at him.
He is right. This marriage can't happen if Rajmata says no to it.
" But how will we convince her to say no?" Soham asked standing up.
" Before our marriage, my and Lavanya horoscope will be matched and Rajmata believe so much in it if our horoscope will not match she will cancel the marriage" I explained my plan.
" Nice idea"
" But what if you're horoscope got matched with her's," Soham asked.
" I'll change my horoscope" I smirked.

Morning
" Rehan" someone shout and I jerked away from my sleep.
" What! What happened?" I sat up and see all my friends sitting in bed.
" Priest is here for matching your and Princess horoscope" Karthik infomed.
" What! But my fake horoscope is not ready and I also do not know where is my horoscope" I look all of them.
" I think it's on the table in front of the Priest," Soham said rubbing the back on his neck.
I throw the quilt on bed and hurriedly get down from the bed " Go and find someone's horoscope and come fast" they all nodded.
I come out of my room and climbed down the stairs I saw a maid going and stop her.
" Where is Rajmata?" I asked a maid.
" She is in the hall near temple" I nodded and runs there.
I stand at the distance and saw Rajmata and Priest sitting there.
" Bring Yuvraj's horoscope," Rajmata ordered the maid who is standing behind the her and she nodded and goes.
So my horoscope is not here yet. Where are my friends?
I see her coming back with a horoscope and I went towards her to stop her.
" Give it to me" I ordered.
" But," she said hesitated, I raise my eyebrow and she give it to me and goes.
I look at my horoscope and someone placed a hand on my shoulder.
" Here, fake horoscope" Dev gives me a horoscope.
I tear the first page of a horoscope in which my name is written and paste it into the fake one. I called the maid back and ask her to give it to Rajmata.
We all look inside the room by the window. The Priest starts studying both of the horoscopes.
" What happened? Rajmata asked and we all held our breath looking at the Priest. He looked at her.
" They both are made for each other" he announced.
What!
" Their horoscope matches perfectly", Rajmata smiled hearing him.
" So when their marriage can happen," she asked.
" In fifteen days there is a very good muhurat for marriage"
" Great tomorrow is their engagement and after fifteen days their marriage," Rajmata stands up and I stood there in shock.
What I thought and what happened. How can this happen? Now I have to marry Lavanya that too in fifteen days.

Yuvraj's Room
I sat down on the edge of bed and with my elbows placed on knees and hands rest against forehead.
" Don't worry Rehan everything will get fine" Dev assured me, sitting beside me placing his hand on my shoulder.
" How can this happened? How can that horoscope match with Lavanya's " I asked getting up.
" Ask Soham it's his horoscope", I look at Soham, he looks shocked.
" I have no fault in this, how will I know my horoscope will match with Lavanya's," he explained hurriedly.
" Then who's fault is this, I don't want to marry her" I sit on the edge of the bed with thud.
" It's not like you love someone and marry someone else. You have to marry someone so why not it Lavanya" Dev placed his hand on my shoulder and I look at him, he nodded.
" Everything will get alright"

Engagement day
Evening
I look at my reflection in mirror after getting ready.
Why all of this feels so wrong?
Maybe it's happening early I'm just 23 but Maharaj marriage happened when he is 21.
It's ok Rehan may be Lavanya is your destiny, she is the one for you and why don't you thinking about the Crown which you will get after marriage.
Now smile.
" Rehan " I look at my friends who is standing at the door.
" Yes"
" Are you ready?" Soham asked coming inside, I nodded.
" Let's go" he said and we come out of room goes downstairs.
I reached into the hall and look everything is decorated and all guests are present there.
" Yuvraj" Ma come towards me place her hand on my cheek.
" I'm so happy for you", I smile seeing her smile.
" Now come " she takes me towards the middle where Lavanya is standing.
She smiled at me and I smiled back at her. Someone forward the plate in which the ring is kept and I pick up the ring.
If this is my destiny, I accept it.
I look up and frown when I see the chandelier swinging and my eyes widen as I see the chain which is holding the chandelier is almost broken.
" Lavanya " I hurriedly hold her hand and pulled her with me away.
We both fell and the chandelier fell too.
" Rehan!"
" Lavanya!"
" Yuvraj!"
" Are you both fine?" Maharaj asked me and I nodded and get up, forwarding a hand towards Lavanya, she stand up too.
" How can the chandelier fall," Maharani said.
" Someone is doing all this?" Maharaj said.
" But now what about the engagement?" Lavanya's mother asked.
" Engagement will...." Maharaj was saying something but Rajmata interrupt him.
" Now this engagement will not happen"
" But," Lavanya's father said.
" This is my order," Rajmata said firmly.

Night
I was changing my clothes when a servant knocked on the door.
" Maharaj is calling you in his office", he informed and I nodded.
I entered the office and saw him standing with his back towards me. I cleared ny throat to get his attention he turned and ask me to sit. I sat in front of him.
" Whatever happened is enough to know that someone is behind your life", I nodded and he tell me about how difficult a life of a King is dangerous always linger on their head
" Yuvraj I'm noticing you from the day your marriage fixed with Lavanya you are not looking happy. Do you not want to marry Lavanya?" He asked.
" Yes "
" Why?"
" I don't think I'm ready for the marriage yet before marriage I want take responsibilites of our business then I want to take responsibility of marriage"
" I think it's right for you. You go to Delhi with your friends and take care of the business there"
" Ok" I nodded.

Outside of Palace
" Yayy" we clicked our glasses together.
" Finally now I don't have to marry Lavanya" I said grinning.
" Yeah"
" So we are going Delhi tomorrow, right?" Karthik said, I nodded.
" But I don't understand why you don't wanted to marry Lavanya" Dev asked.
" I don't know" I shrugging my shoulder
" Maybe there is someone special for me"

The wind is blowing the curtains which is around the bed in which a girl is sleeping. The sunlight peak through the curtains and fall on her face and she turned to her side.
She flutter her eyes slowly and sit up on bed. She stretch her arms and run her hand through her hairs.
