Sonic was relaxing with Shadow outside on the pouch as Sonic drinks some strawberry lemonade while Shadow drinks a cup of tea in the nice cool summer air. "Feels so nice out here, just sitting on the porch with my amazing lover" Sonic said as he felt Shadow kissing his head in his response. "And I get to sit with my adorable hedgehog" Shadow said as he sipped his black tea. "Aww, I love you" Sonic said as he drinks his strawberry lemonade. "And I love you too" Shadow said as he lays his head on Sonic's head, making him squeak.
"You know what, we need a break, it is hot, and drinks alone aren't going to cool us down, for you, it will just make you get hot, for drinking black tea out here in this weather" Sonic said as he finishes his strawberry lemonade. "Hmm, what do you have in mind?" Shadow asked. "I was thinking, maybe we can go somewhere where there is cool air, and a TINY bit of water, like, the Splash Canyon Swimming Pool" Sonic said as he looked away, knowing his fear of water is still greatly high. "We can go as long as you are comfortable" Shadow said as he sips the last of his tea in his hand.
Sonic got a call from Sonia and Manic, picking up the phone and answering. "Hello?" Sonic said. "Bro, wanna go to the pool with us? We were going to try and find a nice pool to swim in and cool down, this house is hot and the fan stopped working!" Sonia said. "Yeah, like it is so hot, my head is sweating so hard, it is so bad" Manic said. "I was thinking of going to the Splash Canyon Swimming Pool" Sonic said to his siblings. "Oooooh, we were somewhat thinking about going there too, but now that you mention it, yeah, that is a perfect place" Sonia said. "Ugh, I need the pool bro, my body is wanting water all around me and for me to float like it is no tomorrow, sign me up" Manic said.
"Alright, want me to meet you two there?" Sonic asked. "Yes Sonic, we will be there" Sonia said. "Hurry, I am already wanting water and swimming now! For chaos sake, I am melting in this damn house!" Manic said. "Okay okay, we will hurry, let me text my friends so they can come if they want but meet me there though, Shadow and I will be there to see you soon, bye" Sonic said as hangs up the phone he then quickly sent a message into the group chat so they can be invited to come with them to the pool and then got into the house as he puts his and Shadow's cup in the sink.
"So are the others going to come? If so, then that is fine, I just want to be able to spend time with you in the water for a bit, but I will bring your floatie for you so you don't feel like you are going to sink, it is in the closet" Shadow said until he saw Sonic frozen still, petrified in fear, hearing the words water and sink. Shadow went to him quickly and checks on him. "Hey, don't worry, I won't let you drown, if anything, I will be near you and the floatie so you can feel safe, I wouldn't leave you out there alone, that would be horrible of me to do such a thing to someone I care about and love so much" Shadow said as he softly rubbed his face.
"Promise?" Sonic asked. "I promise you, I will stay near you, I won't let you down" Shadow said as he hugged him close. "Thank you" Sonic said as he slowly hugged him back. "Now, let's pack" Shadow said as he went to the closet that was near the stairs, opened it, and took out Sonic's floatie which was blue with gold rings on it. "You can bring a towel, the beach chair, the big umbrella, and any other stuff you will need if you want" Shadow said as he takes the floated and puts it in a bag so they can carry the items they need.
~1 Hour Later~
Sonic and Shadow were ready to go as they decided to just Chaos Control with the stuff they wanted to bring just like they did for their picnic to Kronos Island. "CHAOS CONTROL" Shadow yelled as then in a split second, they both disappeared but appeared at Splash Canyon, with their stuff in hand. "Got everything Shadow?" Sonic asked as he looked at the stuff to make sure they didn't leave anything behind. "I got the stuff to make burgers, hotdogs, and grilled chicken sandwiches, I got the grill, I got the coal, lighter fluid, applewood, my utensils needed for grilling outdoors, I brought the sunscreen, I brought some drinks, alcohol for those who want it, we gotta make available options here, it is essential for pool hangouts" Shadow said as he stretched a bit and started to set up the grill.
Sonic on the other hand started to set up a place for them to sit around the body of water, finding a place and opening up the chairs so they can sit down and relax when they want to. Shadow polished the grill a bit and opened it, opening up a bag of coal and putting it inside so he can be prepared to cook once the couples arrive. Sonic smiled and started to dig a hole in the ground to put the umbrella down inside before putting the dirt around it so it doesn't move, taking the cooler and rolling it under the umbrella so the drinks can stay cold for longer and not melt the ice inside.
~20 Minutes Later~
Sonic hears a electric small boat coming as it was Tails driving it and his friends are on it, along with Sonia and Manic. "They're here! HEY!!!" Sonic said as he ran to the edge and saw them about to dock the boat. "Sonic! Give me one minute!" Tails said with a smile as he stopped the boat and jumped off, picking up 5 thick metal stakes and a mallet. "Need help there?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, gonna need some help, don't want the boat to float away" Tails said as he puts a metal stake on the ground and starts to hit it down with the mallet. "KNUX, A LITTLE HELP HERE!" Sonic said as Knuckles heard and jumped off of the boat, taking a metal stake and Rouge throwing a mallet at him so he can use it. "Thanks a lot Rouge" Knuckles said as he then used that mallet to hit the metal stake into the ground.
"Here Big Blue!" Rouge said as she throws another mallet, Sonic catching it and starting to help them. After a bit, all 5 metal stakes were in the ground, Tails flying and weaving a big rope around the boat's open spaces and making sure they were secure on the metal stakes before tying a knot around the end and smiling. "Everybody off!" Tails said as he put out a ramp for them to safely get across. One by one, everyone started to depart the boat and get on the ground. "I am so glad you are here! Knuckles, thank you for getting my siblings here safely, I knew I could count on you" Sonic said with a smile as Sonia and Manic went right to him.
"So these are your siblings?" Tails asked. "Yep, everyone, this is my sister and my brother, sis, bro, these are my friends" Sonic said with a smile as they all looked at Sonia and Manic. "Hello everyone, my name is Sonia, Sonia the Hedgehog, I love fashion, makeup, and even riding on my motorcycle from time to time, pleased to meet you everyone!" Sonia said. "Sup, name's Manic, Manic the Hedgehog, love playing drums, always getting into some sort of trouble, and I love food, touch my fries and I swear, you will not see me coming, but other than that, I am rather chill and laid back, nice to be here" Manic said.
Scourge looked at Manic and his heart beat fast as he suddenly panted like a dog. Fleetway noticed and pulled Scourge away and found a place for them to sit and set up their stuff. "What was that about?" Manic asked as he saw Scourge with Fleetway near each other. "Oh don't mind them, they are just a little bit of trouble makers" Sonic said as he walked back to Shadow and the others decided to spread out so they can have their own spaces around the body of water they would be swimming in once they settle.
~15 Minutes Later~
Shadow was starting up the grill and looking at Sonic, smiling at him. "You know what I want babe" Sonic said with a laugh. "One chilidog, I know" Shadow said with a chuckle as he pours the lighter fluid on the coal and uses a match to set it on fire, smiling once she saw the flame growing enough to cook with. Sonia and Manic were sitting near Sonic since they wanted to be near their brother. "This is so much better, now my sunscreen is on, my sunhat is perfectly settled on my head, and the new slippers I bought perfectly complimenting my swimsuit, what more can a girl ask for?" Sonia said with a giggle.
"Yeah, and I can't wait to swim, I already put on my share of sunscreen, so I will be fine" Manic said as he took off his clothes and revealed he had his own bikini he wanted to try. "MANIC!!! OH MY GOD!!! YOU WEAR BIKINIS TOO?!" Sonic asked as he was in his own rainbow bikini he had on himself. "Yeah, I wanted to see what I was missing out on, and to be honest, Sonia said I make a prettier girl than you before, so, I wanted to see how true it was, Sonia helped me pick it out" Manic said as he takes more sunscreen and rubs it on his exposed belly.
"I LOVE IT!!! YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE!!!" Sonic said complimenting on Manic's swimsuit that looked like the colors of the gay flag, greens and blues with some white in the middle. "Thanks man" Manic said as he gave Sonic a high-five. "And I got myself a bikini too so I can somewhat match with Manic" Sonia said as she got up and showed her bikini that looked like the colors of the lesbian flag, oranges and magentas with some white also in the middle like Manic's bikini has. "NOW WE ARE MATCHING?! AWESOME!" Sonic said as he laughed along with Sonia and Manic who joined in.
Rouge went to Shadow and turned her back to him. "You mind?" Rouge asked as her special black sexy bikini needed to get clipped on. "Sure" Shadow said as he clips it on and gives her the okay. "Alright thank you, was coming over here and it somehow popped off" Rouge said in a laugh as she looked Shadow. "I can understand that" Shadow said as he puts burger patties, hot dogs, and chicken breasts on the grill, the meats sizzling nicely on the open flame. "Damn, we having lunch too? Save me a chicken sandwich will you?" Rouge said. "No problem, can you go to everyone and tell them I am making food, and that they need to tell me what they want?" Shadow asked her.
"Sure thing, I will do that right now" Rouge said as she walked to the other couples to ask them their preferred food they want. Suddenly, a girl walked to the sight and stretched. "Ah, it's so nice to be here, time to take a dip in the water" the girl said. Sonic looked and squinted his eyes a bit to see the girl. "Is that. . . TIKAL!? Hey! Tikal! Over here!" Sonic shouted and waved his hand up in the air so she can see him. The girl turned around and she was indeed Tikal, the echidna gasping and running toward him. "Sonic, it is so nice to see you! What are you doing here on this fine day?!" Tikal said as she got to him and hugged him.
"Me and my friends wanted some fun out here and it is hot, so, pool party for everyone!" Sonic said with a smile as Tikal hugged him still. "I am so glad to see you again, it is so nice!" Tikal said with a smile as she was in a nice bikini, the top part being white and the bottom part being a nice tealish-green that had a beautifully weaved emerald green cover-up around her waist. Sonia looked at the girl and was curious. "Bro, is she a friend of yours?" Manic asked. "Yes, this is Tikal, Tikal the Echidna, Tikal, this is my brother Manic, and my sister Sonia" Sonic said. Tikal averted her eyes to Sonia, smiling at how she looked, liking her bikini.
"Your bathing suit looks pretty, it looks rather calming if you ask me, like a sunset on the horizon in the beautiful sparkling waters" Tikal said with a smile. Sonia without knowing, started to blush at the echidna. "Thanks, yours looks pretty too" Sonia said as she fixed her short quills. "Aww thank you Sonia! You are so sweet!" Tikal said as she walked away to go into the water. "Umm, gotta go in the water to. . . cool down!" Sonia said as she gets up and walked quickly. Sonic and Manic both looked at each other as they then burst into laughter. "Sis is in love!" Manic said while laughing. "Yeah, she didn't even find a way to hide it, it was so obvious!" Sonic said as he laughed.
"Well, I am going to go into the water, I am heating up and sweating, see ya" Manic said as he got up and walked to the water. Sonic relaxed for a bit until Scourge came in front of him. "Sonic, I want your help with something, what does Manic like?" Scourge asked. "Why?" Sonic said as he was curious of why he needed his help, and why he mentioned his brother. "Well, to make a good impression on him, that is all, so tell me what he likes" Scourge said as he looked at Manic who dove into the water and seconds later, flipped his head out of the water and shook his quills side to side, making Scourge whistle at the hedgehog.
"Umm, he likes sweets, tasty foods, things that are shiny, stuff like that—" Sonic looked and saw Scourge run to the other side of the water, taking something shiny and jumping into the water for Manic, swimming at him "What the hell?" Sonic said. "Sonic, come here, I need your help" Shadow said. Sonic got up and walked to Shadow, looking at the grill that was cooking up the burgers, hot dogs, and chicken. "Can you open the container of fresh chili I made before leaving?" Shadow said as he was almost done cooking the meats. Sonic nods and opened up the container for Shadow, smelling the aroma of the grilled meats.
"Thank you baby" Shadow said as he kisses his head and started to take off the meats from the grill and put on more raw meats in their place. "And can you tell the others the food is ready?" Shadow asked. "Yes Shads" Sonic said as he ran and started to tell the others that lunch was finished. Seconds later all of them got to the grill and started to take the plates of the food they wanted. Sonic was last, grabbing his chilidog and smiling. "There you go babe, one chilidog as promised" Shadow said with a chuckle as he kisses his head. Sonic picks up the chilidog and starts to eat it, the others eating their choice of food they wanted, looking happy and satisfied. "Drinks are in the cooler, take what you want, I have a lot of drinks" Shadow said as he went back to focusing on the other meats he had put on the grill.
~1 Hour Later~
Sonic was scared to go into the water as Shadow dove in and poked his head out of the water seconds later to get air. "Coming hun, I didn't forget about you" Shadow said as he swam to him slowly. There were screams of happiness as most of their friends were splashing water, chasing each other, playing marco polo, and even doing swimming races with each other. Sonic gulped and poked his foot in the water as Shadow grabbed his leg and pulled him down, Sonic screaming and falling into the water before Shadow picked him up and held him close. "I HATE YOU!" Sonic said as he shivered a bit. "You still love me" Shadow said as he puts Sonic in the floatie as promised earlier, chuckling at Sonic who was shiver.
Sonic shivered but was floating inside the floatie. "There, you are safe" Shadow said as he swam around Sonic. "I still hate you!" Sonic said as he shivered still. "And yet you will be cuddling with me tonight, so shush" Shadow said as he grabbed into Sonic's floatie and swam him to his siblings. "Sonic, nice floatie, love the pattern" Sonia said with a smile as Tikal held her. "Are you two dating now?" Sonic asked while shivering. "Well, she noticed, and well, she actually was into it, and she asked if I wanted to go on a date tomorrow, and I said yes, so that makes us a couple!" Sonia said with happiness as she felt Tikal kiss her on the cheek softly.
"That is wonderful, at least SHE didn't pull you into water" Sonic said as he looked at Shadow. "Oh hahaha, very funny" Shadow said as he looked at the two girls. "Sonia is so sweet, she even offered to ride me there on her motorcycle, which is incredible, I never met anyone like Sonia, and if I need help dressing up, she is the perfect option, and can give me fashion tips! Thanks for letting me meet your family a bit! This is the happiest day of my life!" Tikal said with happiness heard in her voice as she then felt Sonia turn around and peck her on the lips.
"Awwwwwwww, that is so adorable" Sonic said as he stopped shivering and forgot he was drenched in water. "Nice Sonia!" Manic said as he swam near them. "Thank Manic" Sonia said as Tikal held her close. "Sonic, I need your help, Scourge, or whatever, is chasing me" Manic said. "What? Chasing you?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, he is starting to freak me out, he even called me "vixen", like who does that?" Manic as he saw Scourge swimming fast, straight toward him. "OH FUCK!" Shadow said as he pulls Sonic out of the way as Scourge was swimming too fast.
Manic screamed and it alerted the other couples of what was going on. "VIXEN!!!~" Scourge yelled as he got to him and panted heavily. Manic gulped and backed away a bit but Scourge grabbed his wrist and pulled him close and quickly looked away from him. "Where my heart goes, it goes with you~ You stole my heart~" Scourge said as he growled sexually. "GET YOUR MITTS OFF MY BRO!" Sonic yelled. "Don't listen to him, I saw how you looked at me when I arrived, your little tail wagged when you looked in my direction and the moment I left, I saw a bit of a blush on your face~ You crushing on the king baby~" Scourge said with a smirk.
"N-No, I am not—" Manic was cut off by Scourge backing up and smirking still. "Then look at me then~ And describe what you see, if you break out of character with your words, then you crushing REAL hard on me~" Scourge said with a chuckle. Manic slowly looked at Scourge and blushed a lot, he didn't want to admit that he was very hot and sexy in his eyes. "U-Umm, well, you have nice shades, a-and umm, nice build on your body, the rad scar on your stomach making you look badass, and those icy blue cold stare eyes that just pierce anyone who looks at you, a-and t-that sexy smile along with it that makes my heart swoon for you—" Manic gasped and covered his mouth, unintentionally revealing he did in fact have a crush on him, shocking the other couples and making them gasp.
Scourge chuckled very loud as Fleetway came behind him and hugged him from behind and growled. "MY MAN!" Fleetway said as he hisses. "Babe, you know I am polyamorous, I can date other people while still dating you, and IF vixen wants to date me, then I shall take him as well, don't worry, you get more "bedtime cuddles" when we get home today, extra warm for you~ What do you think?~" Scourge said as he rubbed Fleetway's head and him letting out a purr from his hand. "F-Fine, b-but I better get that cuddle later" Fleetway said while purring from his touch. Manic slowly looked at him and his heart wouldn't stop beating hard to the point it felt like it would jump out of his chest.
"So vixen, will you wanna date your king?~" Scourge said as he showed off his body a bit to show Manic what he wanted to see. "U-Umm, y-yes please—" Manic was cut off as Scourge grabbed him and purred loudly. "Okay vixen, Fleetway, don't get jealous of him, and you better not get jealous of him too, little sneaky vixen~" Scourge said as he softly nibbles his ear. "I-I won't, I promise" Manic said as he was about to get kissed, making him a bit nervous. "Hey, don't worry vixen, I will take the lead~" Scourge said as he slowly places his lips on Manic's lips, Manic being surprised with how soft and gentle he was.
After a few seconds, Scourge stopped and noticed his shades were on Manic's head, making him shocked. "Thank you for the shades big boy, gotta juice, laters!" Manic said as he swam away, stealing Scourge's heart further. "MY SHADES!!!" Scourge said as he swam extremely fast right after him to get them back, making the couples silent for a bit before Sonic and Shadow broke out in laughter along with the other couples. "That's my brother for you, always into trouble" Sonic said as he still floats in his floatie while laughing. "Manic is a major simp for hot men, and I guess he got reeled in" Sonia said as she laughed.
~30 Minutes Later~
Shadow was hanging onto Sonic's floatie as Sonic kissed his head cutely as his lower body floats in the water. "Tired hun?" Sonic asked. "A little, just relaxing while being near you silly. Sonic smiled and slowly looked at everyone who was enjoying themselves. Silver being thrown into the water by Mephiles for fun, Fleetway and Manic kissing on Scourge while they were on his body just hanging on in the water, Rookie on a float with Infinite while he was being held close to his soaked body, Espio riding on Vector's back as he wanted to challenge Mighty to a swimming race, Tails on Knuckles' shoulders while hanging onto his head as they would dunk in and out of the water, Amy splashing Blaze and Rouge who splashed her back for fun, Whisper holding onto Tangle's back as her tail was holding onto her like a backpack, and Sonia and Tikal swimming together and enjoying the calming water as they swam along in sync.
"Our friends are really happy to be here, and so am I, even though I still fear the water, I put their happiness before mine, and I knew this would be a good way to make them all happy" Sonic said as Shadow looked at all the couples having such a great time in one place. "You're right, they seem happy when together with more than themselves" Shadow said as he felt Sonic kissing his head. "Thank you for keeping your promise, about letting me not drown in deep water, I appreciate that" Sonic said with a smile as Shadow grabbed his hand and held it.
"You're welcome my love, I just wanted you to feel comfortable while still being able to cool down your body, so the floatie was the only thing I thought to get for you, and I am glad you love it and are being calm" Shadow said as he dunked his head in the water and quickly got out, spraying Sonic in the face with what he collected in his mouth. Sonic screamed a bit and blinked as his face was drenched, but quickly turned it into laughter as he felt a little cool in the face from Shadow doing that. Shadow chuckled as water trickled down his quills.
"We should hang out much more often, it is the best way for us to all have a good time, what do you think Shads?" Sonic asked as he wiped the water off of his face. "Sure, I would think they would like that Sonikku, you know, I love this side of you, the selfless type, one who cares about everyone before themselves, I always loved that about you, and never will stop loving that adorable side" Shadow said as he kissed Sonic on the lips, Sonic kissing back lovingly, Shadow enjoying the time he was having with Sonic, their friends, and the wonderful bond they had as a group, all of them swimming until the day had concluded their little gathering and their fun memories they made that day.

After a bit, all 5 metal stakes were in the ground, Tails flying and weaving a big rope around the boat's open spaces and making sure they were secure on the metal stakes before tying a knot around the end and smiling. "Everybody off!" Tails said as he put out a ramp for them to safely get across. One by one, everyone started to depart the boat and get on the ground. "I am so glad you are here! Knuckles, thank you for getting my siblings here safely, I knew I could count on you" Sonic said with a smile as Sonia and Manic went right to him.
"So these are your siblings?" Tails asked. "Yep, everyone, this is my sister and my brother, sis, bro, these are my friends" Sonic said with a smile as they all looked at Sonia and Manic. "Hello everyone, my name is Sonia, Sonia the Hedgehog, I love fashion, makeup, and even riding on my motorcycle from time to time, pleased to meet you everyone!" Sonia said. "Sup, name's Manic, Manic the Hedgehog, love playing drums, always getting into some sort of trouble, and I love food, touch my fries and I swear, you will not see me coming, but other than that, I am rather chill and laid back, nice to be here" Manic said.
Scourge looked at Manic and his heart beat fast as he suddenly panted like a dog. Fleetway noticed and pulled Scourge away and found a place for them to sit and set up their stuff. "What was that about?" Manic asked as he saw Scourge with Fleetway near each other. "Oh don't mind them, they are just a little bit of trouble makers" Sonic said as he walked back to Shadow and the others decided to spread out so they can have their own spaces around the body of water they would be swimming in once they settle.
~15 Minutes Later~
Shadow was starting up the grill and looking at Sonic, smiling at him. "You know what I want babe" Sonic said with a laugh. "One chilidog, I know" Shadow said with a chuckle as he pours the lighter fluid on the coal and uses a match to set it on fire, smiling once she saw the flame growing enough to cook with. Sonia and Manic were sitting near Sonic since they wanted to be near their brother. "This is so much better, now my sunscreen is on, my sunhat is perfectly settled on my head, and the new slippers I bought perfectly complimenting my swimsuit, what more can a girl ask for?" Sonia said with a giggle.
"Yeah, and I can't wait to swim, I already put on my share of sunscreen, so I will be fine" Manic said as he took off his clothes and revealed he had his own bikini he wanted to try. "MANIC!!! OH MY GOD!!! YOU WEAR BIKINIS TOO?!" Sonic asked as he was in his own rainbow bikini he had on himself. "Yeah, I wanted to see what I was missing out on, and to be honest, Sonia said I make a prettier girl than you before, so, I wanted to see how true it was, Sonia helped me pick it out" Manic said as he takes more sunscreen and rubs it on his exposed belly.
"I LOVE IT!!! YOU LOOK SO ADORABLE!!!" Sonic said complimenting on Manic's swimsuit that looked like the colors of the gay flag, greens and blues with some white in the middle. "Thanks man" Manic said as he gave Sonic a high-five. "And I got myself a bikini too so I can somewhat match with Manic" Sonia said as she got up and showed her bikini that looked like the colors of the lesbian flag, oranges and magentas with some white also in the middle like Manic's bikini has. "NOW WE ARE MATCHING?! AWESOME!" Sonic said as he laughed along with Sonia and Manic who joined in.
Rouge went to Shadow and turned her back to him. "You mind?" Rouge asked as her special black sexy bikini needed to get clipped on. "Sure" Shadow said as he clips it on and gives her the okay. "Alright thank you, was coming over here and it somehow popped off" Rouge said in a laugh as she looked Shadow. "I can understand that" Shadow said as he puts burger patties, hot dogs, and chicken breasts on the grill, the meats sizzling nicely on the open flame. "Damn, we having lunch too? Save me a chicken sandwich will you?" Rouge said. "No problem, can you go to everyone and tell them I am making food, and that they need to tell me what they want?" Shadow asked her.
"Sure thing, I will do that right now" Rouge said as she walked to the other couples to ask them their preferred food they want. Suddenly, a girl walked to the sight and stretched. "Ah, it's so nice to be here, time to take a dip in the water" the girl said. Sonic looked and squinted his eyes a bit to see the girl. "Is that. . . TIKAL!? Hey! Tikal! Over here!" Sonic shouted and waved his hand up in the air so she can see him. The girl turned around and she was indeed Tikal, the echidna gasping and running toward him. "Sonic, it is so nice to see you! What are you doing here on this fine day?!" Tikal said as she got to him and hugged him.
"Me and my friends wanted some fun out here and it is hot, so, pool party for everyone!" Sonic said with a smile as Tikal hugged him still. "I am so glad to see you again, it is so nice!" Tikal said with a smile as she was in a nice bikini, the top part being white and the bottom part being a nice tealish-green that had a beautifully weaved emerald green cover-up around her waist. Sonia looked at the girl and was curious. "Bro, is she a friend of yours?" Manic asked. "Yes, this is Tikal, Tikal the Echidna, Tikal, this is my brother Manic, and my sister Sonia" Sonic said. Tikal averted her eyes to Sonia, smiling at how she looked, liking her bikini.
"Your bathing suit looks pretty, it looks rather calming if you ask me, like a sunset on the horizon in the beautiful sparkling waters" Tikal said with a smile. Sonia without knowing, started to blush at the echidna. "Thanks, yours looks pretty too" Sonia said as she fixed her short quills. "Aww thank you Sonia! You are so sweet!" Tikal said as she walked away to go into the water. "Umm, gotta go in the water to. . . cool down!" Sonia said as she gets up and walked quickly. Sonic and Manic both looked at each other as they then burst into laughter. "Sis is in love!" Manic said while laughing. "Yeah, she didn't even find a way to hide it, it was so obvious!" Sonic said as he laughed.
"Well, I am going to go into the water, I am heating up and sweating, see ya" Manic said as he got up and walked to the water. Sonic relaxed for a bit until Scourge came in front of him. "Sonic, I want your help with something, what does Manic like?" Scourge asked. "Why?" Sonic said as he was curious of why he needed his help, and why he mentioned his brother. "Well, to make a good impression on him, that is all, so tell me what he likes" Scourge said as he looked at Manic who dove into the water and seconds later, flipped his head out of the water and shook his quills side to side, making Scourge whistle at the hedgehog.
"Umm, he likes sweets, tasty foods, things that are shiny, stuff like that—" Sonic looked and saw Scourge run to the other side of the water, taking something shiny and jumping into the water for Manic, swimming at him "What the hell?" Sonic said. "Sonic, come here, I need your help" Shadow said. Sonic got up and walked to Shadow, looking at the grill that was cooking up the burgers, hot dogs, and chicken. "Can you open the container of fresh chili I made before leaving?" Shadow said as he was almost done cooking the meats. Sonic nods and opened up the container for Shadow, smelling the aroma of the grilled meats.
"Thank you baby" Shadow said as he kisses his head and started to take off the meats from the grill and put on more raw meats in their place. "And can you tell the others the food is ready?" Shadow asked. "Yes Shads" Sonic said as he ran and started to tell the others that lunch was finished. Seconds later all of them got to the grill and started to take the plates of the food they wanted. Sonic was last, grabbing his chilidog and smiling. "There you go babe, one chilidog as promised" Shadow said with a chuckle as he kisses his head. Sonic picks up the chilidog and starts to eat it, the others eating their choice of food they wanted, looking happy and satisfied. "Drinks are in the cooler, take what you want, I have a lot of drinks" Shadow said as he went back to focusing on the other meats he had put on the grill.
~1 Hour Later~
Sonic was scared to go into the water as Shadow dove in and poked his head out of the water seconds later to get air. "Coming hun, I didn't forget about you" Shadow said as he swam to him slowly. There were screams of happiness as most of their friends were splashing water, chasing each other, playing marco polo, and even doing swimming races with each other. Sonic gulped and poked his foot in the water as Shadow grabbed his leg and pulled him down, Sonic screaming and falling into the water before Shadow picked him up and held him close. "I HATE YOU!" Sonic said as he shivered a bit. "You still love me" Shadow said as he puts Sonic in the floatie as promised earlier, chuckling at Sonic who was shiver.
Sonic shivered but was floating inside the floatie. "There, you are safe" Shadow said as he swam around Sonic. "I still hate you!" Sonic said as he shivered still. "And yet you will be cuddling with me tonight, so shush" Shadow said as he grabbed into Sonic's floatie and swam him to his siblings. "Sonic, nice floatie, love the pattern" Sonia said with a smile as Tikal held her. "Are you two dating now?" Sonic asked while shivering. "Well, she noticed, and well, she actually was into it, and she asked if I wanted to go on a date tomorrow, and I said yes, so that makes us a couple!" Sonia said with happiness as she felt Tikal kiss her on the cheek softly.
"That is wonderful, at least SHE didn't pull you into water" Sonic said as he looked at Shadow. "Oh hahaha, very funny" Shadow said as he looked at the two girls. "Sonia is so sweet, she even offered to ride me there on her motorcycle, which is incredible, I never met anyone like Sonia, and if I need help dressing up, she is the perfect option, and can give me fashion tips! Thanks for letting me meet your family a bit! This is the happiest day of my life!" Tikal said with happiness heard in her voice as she then felt Sonia turn around and peck her on the lips.
"Awwwwwwww, that is so adorable" Sonic said as he stopped shivering and forgot he was drenched in water. "Nice Sonia!" Manic said as he swam near them. "Thank Manic" Sonia said as Tikal held her close. "Sonic, I need your help, Scourge, or whatever, is chasing me" Manic said. "What? Chasing you?" Sonic asked. "Yeah, he is starting to freak me out, he even called me "vixen", like who does that?" Manic as he saw Scourge swimming fast, straight toward him. "OH FUCK!" Shadow said as he pulls Sonic out of the way as Scourge was swimming too fast.
Manic screamed and it alerted the other couples of what was going on. "VIXEN!!!~" Scourge yelled as he got to him and panted heavily. Manic gulped and backed away a bit but Scourge grabbed his wrist and pulled him close and quickly looked away from him. "Where my heart goes, it goes with you~ You stole my heart~" Scourge said as he growled sexually. "GET YOUR MITTS OFF MY BRO!" Sonic yelled. "Don't listen to him, I saw how you looked at me when I arrived, your little tail wagged when you looked in my direction and the moment I left, I saw a bit of a blush on your face~ You crushing on the king baby~" Scourge said with a smirk.
"N-No, I am not—" Manic was cut off by Scourge backing up and smirking still. "Then look at me then~ And describe what you see, if you break out of character with your words, then you crushing REAL hard on me~" Scourge said with a chuckle. Manic slowly looked at Scourge and blushed a lot, he didn't want to admit that he was very hot and sexy in his eyes. "U-Umm, well, you have nice shades, a-and umm, nice build on your body, the rad scar on your stomach making you look badass, and those icy blue cold stare eyes that just pierce anyone who looks at you, a-and t-that sexy smile along with it that makes my heart swoon for you—" Manic gasped and covered his mouth, unintentionally revealing he did in fact have a crush on him, shocking the other couples and making them gasp.
Scourge chuckled very loud as Fleetway came behind him and hugged him from behind and growled. "MY MAN!" Fleetway said as he hisses. "Babe, you know I am polyamorous, I can date other people while still dating you, and IF vixen wants to date me, then I shall take him as well, don't worry, you get more "bedtime cuddles" when we get home today, extra warm for you~ What do you think?~" Scourge said as he rubbed Fleetway's head and him letting out a purr from his hand. "F-Fine, b-but I better get that cuddle later" Fleetway said while purring from his touch. Manic slowly looked at him and his heart wouldn't stop beating hard to the point it felt like it would jump out of his chest.
"So vixen, will you wanna date your king?~" Scourge said as he showed off his body a bit to show Manic what he wanted to see. "U-Umm, y-yes please—" Manic was cut off as Scourge grabbed him and purred loudly. "Okay vixen, Fleetway, don't get jealous of him, and you better not get jealous of him too, little sneaky vixen~" Scourge said as he softly nibbles his ear. "I-I won't, I promise" Manic said as he was about to get kissed, making him a bit nervous. "Hey, don't worry vixen, I will take the lead~" Scourge said as he slowly places his lips on Manic's lips, Manic being surprised with how soft and gentle he was.
After a few seconds, Scourge stopped and noticed his shades were on Manic's head, making him shocked. "Thank you for the shades big boy, gotta juice, laters!" Manic said as he swam away, stealing Scourge's heart further. "MY SHADES!!!" Scourge said as he swam extremely fast right after him to get them back, making the couples silent for a bit before Sonic and Shadow broke out in laughter along with the other couples. "That's my brother for you, always into trouble" Sonic said as he still floats in his floatie while laughing. "Manic is a major simp for hot men, and I guess he got reeled in" Sonia said as she laughed.
~30 Minutes Later~
Shadow was hanging onto Sonic's floatie as Sonic kissed his head cutely as his lower body floats in the water. "Tired hun?" Sonic asked. "A little, just relaxing while being near you silly. Sonic smiled and slowly looked at everyone who was enjoying themselves. Silver being thrown into the water by Mephiles for fun, Fleetway and Manic kissing on Scourge while they were on his body just hanging on in the water, Rookie on a float with Infinite while he was being held close to his soaked body, Espio riding on Vector's back as he wanted to challenge Mighty to a swimming race, Tails on Knuckles' shoulders while hanging onto his head as they would dunk in and out of the water, Amy splashing Blaze and Rouge who splashed her back for fun, Whisper holding onto Tangle's back as her tail was holding onto her like a backpack, and Sonia and Tikal swimming together and enjoying the calming water as they swam along in sync.
"Our friends are really happy to be here, and so am I, even though I still fear the water, I put their happiness before mine, and I knew this would be a good way to make them all happy" Sonic said as Shadow looked at all the couples having such a great time in one place. "You're right, they seem happy when together with more than themselves" Shadow said as he felt Sonic kissing his head. "Thank you for keeping your promise, about letting me not drown in deep water, I appreciate that" Sonic said with a smile as Shadow grabbed his hand and held it.
"You're welcome my love, I just wanted you to feel comfortable while still being able to cool down your body, so the floatie was the only thing I thought to get for you, and I am glad you love it and are being calm" Shadow said as he dunked his head in the water and quickly got out, spraying Sonic in the face with what he collected in his mouth. Sonic screamed a bit and blinked as his face was drenched, but quickly turned it into laughter as he felt a little cool in the face from Shadow doing that. Shadow chuckled as water trickled down his quills.
"We should hang out much more often, it is the best way for us to all have a good time, what do you think Shads?" Sonic asked as he wiped the water off of his face. "Sure, I would think they would like that Sonikku, you know, I love this side of you, the selfless type, one who cares about everyone before themselves, I always loved that about you, and never will stop loving that adorable side" Shadow said as he kissed Sonic on the lips, Sonic kissing back lovingly, Shadow enjoying the time he was having with Sonic, their friends, and the wonderful bond they had as a group, all of them swimming until the day had concluded their little gathering and their fun memories they made that day.
