Sonadow Pride Month - Chapter 14: Chapter 14

Sonic and Shadow were sitting in the living and cuddling with each other in the dark of the night. "Mmm, so warm" Sonic said as he felt Shadow hold him while they were on the couch. "All for you my dear" Shadow said as he kisses his head softly as he makes Sonic look at him and plants a passionate kiss on his lips, Sonic wrapping his arms around his shoulders and Shadow wrapping his arms around his waist. After a few seconds, Shadow broke the kiss and then kissed his nose softly. "Silly hedgehog" Shadow said as he chuckled. "You silly too mister, you got all mushy on me" Sonic said with a giggle.
"I am mushy, for only you, anyone else, I am the "bastard" they fear" Shadow said with another chuckle. "I don't fear you, I love you, my hedgehog, all mine" Sonic said as he sits on his lap and feels Shadow hold him close. "You sure baby?" Shadow asked as he rubbed his belly, giving him belly rubs, making Sonic purr cutely. "Yes Shads, I love you, and only you, promise on my heart" Sonic said with a purr. Shadow smiled and held Sonic close as they still continued their cuddling, Shadow holding his lover close.
"I love my big handsome boy" Sonic said as he kissed Shadow while he was sitting on his lap in front of him. Shadow kissed back as he rubbed his belly more, his kisses being filled with purr vibrations on his lips. Sonic breaks the kiss and laughs a bit. "Might I say, and I never really mentioned it before, but you are a wonderful kisser, not joking, every time you kiss me, it is like I stopped being all cocky and actually take it seriously, you make me commit to it whenever our lips clash together, it is like I am becoming more lovey-dovey with each kiss you give me, and to be honest, I love it very much, thanks honey" Sonic said as he kissed his head.
"Aww, babe, I am glad you think that, but it is just a regular kiss" Shadow said with a smile. "Nah, that kiss makes me feel alive each time, I can't help it, your lips are so soft and kissable, how can I not enjoy that?" Sonic said with a giggle that sounded too cute for Shadow to ignore. "Awwwwwwwwww, so cute, I have a cutie for a boyfriend" Shadow said as he gives him extra belly rubs for him. Sonic purred louder as the belly rubs felt calming to him and loving every second of it. Shadow chuckled more and stopped rubbing as he puts his head on Sonic's shoulder and felt Sonic hold his head.
"My sweet dark hedgehog" Sonic said as he licks his head cutely. Shadow chuckled still as he felt the licks. "You are too adorable and precious to me" Shadow said as he stopped Sonic's licking and pushes him onto the couch, Sonic's back laying on it and Shadow rubbing his chest while on top of him, quickly kissing his lips again, wanting more of Sonic's love as he took the lead. Sonic gasps softly in the kiss but didn't mind because he wanted more smooch time anyways, closing his eyes and kissing his Shadow back just as much. After a few smooches later, they finally calmed it down and sit back on the couch.
"That was so amazing" Sonic said as he lays his head on Shadow's lap. "It was, I feel so happy" Shadow said as he rubbed his head. "Shadow, can we watch a movie?" Sonic asked as he looked up at Shadow. "Sure baby, I get to choose this time" Shadow said as he looked at Sonic. "But I wanna choose one" Sonic said at Shadow. "How about we both find a movie and whichever one we agree on, we can watch" Shadow said. "Alright, will do" Sonic said as he went on his phone and started looking up some movies that he himself would be interested in watching with Shadow. Shadow goes on his phone as well as he wanted to find a good movie to watch with Sonic.
After a few minutes, they found a movie and showed their own option to each other. "I wanna watch "Killer Chao of Outer Space", really scary yet the Chao are secretly little terrors under their cute adorable faces" Sonic said. "Well, I want you to watch "Guns, Hell, and Fury in Central City", it is about a guy who is trying to find out who is the mole in their little operation in the spy organization they work for, it even has a ton of guns, grenades, and a whole lot of action" Shadow said. Sonic shook his head no and pointed at his option again. "I wanna watch this, not a spy drama" Sonic said.
"I don't wanna watch that, Chao are supposed to be cute, they just tainting poor Chao to be scary" Shadow said as he crossed his arms. "What is that supposed to mean?" Sonic asked as he puts a hand on his waist. "It means it is not something I want to watch, that is what it means Sonic" Shadow said as he growled at him a bit. "Oh and your movie has a fucking guy with guns and trying to find a damn mole in an operation they need to solve" Sonic said as he growled back. "You know what? You are such a buzzkill when it comes to something I wanna watch" Shadow said. "Oh I can say the same for you" Sonic said back. "You're so stupid!" Shadow yelled as he clenched his fists. "You're so stubborn!" Sonic yelled as he pointed at him.
"I'm NOT stubborn! I can't believe you like that wanna-be-edgy piece of crap!" Shadow yelled. "Says the one who enjoys that childlike cheesy nonsense with flashing bright lights!" Sonic yelled back. Shadow tsked and crossed his arms, very pissed off at Sonic. "You're not only stupid, but you also have no taste" Shadow said as he looked at Sonic, he was with rage in his eyes and face with a twitching left eye to show he wasn't having any of it. "That's it" Sonic said as he quickly leaves the living room, speedwalks upstairs, and growls in frustration, not wanting to deal with him tonight. "Hey, come back here!" Shadow yelled as he didn't see Sonic up the stairs anymore.
"What are you doi— MPH—" Shadow was cut off by a pillow being thrown on his face from upstairs by Sonic. "I am going to bed!" Sonic said as he held onto the railing of the top of the stairs. Shadow takes off the pillow and looked at Sonic while holding it, in utter shock he just did something like that to him and have no remorse for the situation. "And I don't want your ass near me!" Sonic yelled as he hit the stair railing with his fist to show he was not playing. "Maybe I'll get some good sleep without you drooling all over me!" Sonic yelled at Shadow, who shook a lot in anxiety as he heard those words come out of his mouth, whimpering silently as he was trying not to cry either, his face showing he was holding in the tears he wanted to keep inside. Shadow growled a bit and yelled right back at Sonic.
"F-Fine!" Shadow yelled as he threw the pillow on the couch. "Go and enjoy your horrible snoring! I know for a fact I won't miss it tonight!" Shadow yelled as he was hurting inside. "Great!" Sonic yelled as he walked away and almost got out of Shadow's sight. "G-Great!" Shadow yelled back as he crossed his arms. Sonic grabbed onto the wall that cut off where you walk to the rooms, glaring at him very coldly as he hmphed at him, Shadow glaring right back at him just as cold but still hurting in his heart, hearing the bedroom down slam shut upstairs. Shadow hmphed as he went to the couch, adjusted the pillow and laying on the couch on his stomach, holding the pillow close to him, the pillow under his head.
"Whatever. . ." Shadow said under his breath as he was alone. Meanwhile in the bedroom, Sonic plopped on the bed and held onto the pillow. "AAAAAAA!!!" Sonic muffled a scream into the pillow so that it wasn't that loud to hear. After Sonic finished screaming into the pillow, he moved his head up as he panted and was on his belly, his left leg lifted forward a bit to get comfortable as he held onto the pillow and sighed a bit. Sonic looked at the time, the time being 23:21PM aka 11:21PM. As time flew, it was now 00:37AM aka 12:37AM, showing it has been over an hour since their little scuffle and disagreement took place, well, 1 hour and 14 minutes to be more precise.
Sonic was still wide awake and laying on his left side, the moonlight shining into the room that he was trying to rest in. Suddenly Sonic began to shiver a bit, making him uncomfortable. 'Since when does my back freeze?!' Sonic thought as he shivered. 'Or is it just. . . Too much. . . Free space behind me?' Sonic thought as his left hand felt his cold shivering back while noticing deep down he needed Shadow to keep warm at night so he can even have a chance of sleep. Sonic sighed and rolled onto his belly, holding the pillow near him. "Traitor meat suit" Sonic grumbled under his breath as he realized what he needed to do.
Shadow on the other hand over the past hour was holding onto a pillow while laying on his left side away from the window, his face close to the pillow. 'Dammit' Shadow thought as he lifted his left leg up a bit while laying down and trying to be comfy for the duration of the night. 'This is so stupid, 'guess I'm not sleeping tonight at all' Shadow thought as he felt alone, not having his hedgehog to hold in his arms. Shadow sighed as he plops his left hand on the armrest, his right hand still holding the pillow close to him. "Sonic. . ." Shadow said as he felt lonely without him.
Suddenly, there was a click heard, indicating the bedroom door was opened, Shadow's right ear twitching to the sound. "Huh?" Shadow speculated as he was wondering what was going on, averting his eyes to the stairs to see Sonic slowly come into view and go down the stairs with a pillow in his right arm. Shadow gasped silently as he saw Sonic coming down to the living room. "Sonic?. . ." Shadow said which startled Sonic a little bit, thinking he was sleeping already. "Shads?. . ." Sonic said as he looked at Shadow in shock while gripping onto his pillow with both hands.
Shadow looked just as shocked seeing his love right before him come down the stairs and walk almost near the couch. "Why aren't you sleeping?" Shadow asked, his voice genuinely concerned for his love. "Why. . . aren't you?. . ." Sonic asked while he looked away with his ears pinned down, still upset about earlier but his heart beating fast for Shadow. Shadow looked away as well, averting his eyes to the far right, hmphing a bit, his heart beating fast as well. A few seconds went by without the hedgehogs saying anything to each other as the moonlight shines on their bodies.
Shadow looked and saw Sonic was clutching a pillow close to him and noticed Sonic wanted to sleep with him. "So are you going to join me or not?" Shadow asked, catching Sonic's attention looked at Shadow the moment he talked, shocked he would speak to him first but brushed it off as he walked Shadow. "Move" Sonic said as he placed the pillow down on the couch and hmphs. Shadow hmphed back but Sonic's ears heard it. "What?" Sonic said as he then sat on the couch in front of Shadow. "Nothing" Shadow said remarking Sonic's concern.
Sonic sighed and lays down on the couch, closing his eyes and gripping softly on the pillow with his right hand, cuddling close to it. "Yep, you are stubborn" Sonic said. "Huh?" Shadow said as he lifted up the couch's comfy throw and looked at Sonic. "You couldn't sleep, yet kept waiting for me to come downstairs" Sonic said as he cuddled the pillow softly while his eyes were still closed. "Is that what you thing? The only reason you're here now is that you need more sleep than I do" Shadow said as he covered Sonic and himself with the soft throw, Sonic listening to Shadow as he laid next to him half of his body leaning on his left arm for support as he made sure the throw was fully covering his lover. "Mm-hm, sure" Sonic said as he felt the throw covering his slightly cold body.
"Plus. . . I was one step away from going upstairs to you" Shadow said as he softly tucked the throw under Sonic so it doesn't move while he tries to rest, Shadow rubbing his side to comfort him and make him feel that he still cares for him deeply even though they fought. "Oh? So I was simply faster than you, again?" Sonic asked as Shadow looked over Sonic and Sonic himself opening up his eyes a bit to look back at him. Shadow smiled a bit and lays down fully, holding him from behind and spooning him, Sonic smiled as well, knowing they are going to be able to sleep tonight. "Shut up" Shadow said lovingly with a soft chuckle. "Y-You shut up" Sonic remarked lovingly back at him as they felt comfortable in their embrace.
Sonic and Shadow relaxed for a bit, humming and purring as they both resolved their problem. After a bit, Shadow leaned his upper body on his left arm again, looking at Sonic, curious about something. "Do I really drool in my sleep?" Shadow asked. Sonic looked at Shadow a bit with fully-opened eyes when he heard him ask the question. "Huh? Sometimes, yeah" Sonic said as he did a little playfully half-lid-closed-eye look at him to show he was answering honestly. Shadow looked away and looked really bummed out that he does that at night. "Well, that's embarrassing" Shadow said as he looked away at the far right.
"Not often really" Sonic said as he looked at Shadow still. Shadow hmphed and looked back at Sonic as he heard him start to question something too. "Um. . . Do I. . . snore too much?" Sonic asked as he looked away at the pillow, not wanting Shadow to see him blushing very red like a cute little strawberry. Shadow leaned his head on top of Sonic and had calming eyes that were almost closed but looking passionately at his boyfriend. " Not much, I only heard you a couple of times in total" Shadow said as he looked at Sonic still. "Ah, I wonder how often we do all that. . ." Sonic said as he looked away very embarrassed at both of their sleeping habits once slumber takes over them for the night. "Who knows" Shadow said as he slowly lays his arm down and lays flat while spooning Sonic closer so he can keep his love warm and comfy.
~In The Morning~
Rouge was coming to check up on the boys, having a spare key to Shadow's house since he gave it to her just in case Shadow needed something from home while Rouge was on a lunch break. Rouge unlocked the door and opened it, walking inside and closing the door right after her. She was about to call out for Sonic and Shadow but heard snoring as she then looked and walked closely to see both of the hedgehogs cuddling together in their sleep. Rouge quietly watched in awe as Sonic was holding the pillow underneath with his arms while on his belly, snoring really loudly. Shadow on the other hand was laying his head on top of Sonic's side of his body, drooling a little puddle of his drool that left his mouth onto his lover.
Rouge smiled and quietly took a picture of the two to share with the others as she looked again just to watch them sleep like adorable angels. "Guess those two really love to cuddle even if one is loud and the other drools on him" Rouge quietly said to herself as she tried not to wake them up. Sonic suddenly talked in his sleep in between snores. " I love you Shads. . . and chilidogs too. . . but you more I promise that. . . my love. . ." Sonic said as he snored normally again, indicating that their little fight hours ago really tuckered both of them out and gave them a chance to better their relationship once again, proving they both will still love each other even if they fight, both hedgehogs sleeping soundly as the sun shown in the living room to show their bright future ahead waiting for them to discover anew together.
