Sonic and Shadow were sleeping in bed as they had a rough day with going shopping and restocking what they need in their house as the night took over and sleep found both of them. Shadow drooled in his sleep and was spooning Sonic on his left side while the hedgehog snored in his grasp. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Shadow heard a doorbell ring downstairs, making his ears twitch and wake him up, his quills looking like a major mess. Shadow yawned and got out of bed, tucking Sonic in and making sure he was still sleeping, covering his back with his own warm pillow he was using to sleep.
Shadow yawned again as he puts on his slide-on slippers and walks out of the room, hearing the doorbell ring again. 'Don't they know it is fucking 12:30 in the morning?. . . People are fucking sleeping. . .' Shadow thought as he groaned and went downstairs. The doorbell then rang several more times until he got to the living room. "I AM FUCKING COMING! SHIT! WHY WAKE ME THE FUCK UP?!" Shadow yelled as he unlocked the door and opened it, not expecting to see someone or two someones he was familiar with. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO FUCKING DOING HERE?!" Shadow yelled at the two people he didn't want to see, or should I say, two aliens.
"Hello brother, so nice to see you again~" Eclipse said as his darkling tail swayed from side to side. "LEAVE THIS FUCKING PLACE, I DISOWNED YOU BOTH! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" Shadow yelled. "Aww, and here we thought you would miss us~" Eclipse said as he stared at his brother. "I AM NOT YOUR BROTHER!" Shadow yelled at him and grabbed him by the throat. Eclipse laughed as if it didn't hurt him as Shadow throws him and was about to close the door. "I only wanted to see my son, don't ignore your creator" Black Doom said as he looked at Shadow.
Eclipse got back up as Shadow growled loudly and tries to close the door but Eclipse stopped him with his hand on the door and smirks. "GET AWAY FROM ME, NOT ONCE DID YOU EVER SO ANY REMORSE OR HOW I FELT IN MY SITUATIONS! NEVER!" Shadow yelled at them. "Because we cared about world domination!" Black Doom said. "SEE YOU BOTH STILL DON'T CARE ABOUT ME, BLACK DOOM, YOU MANIPULATED ME INTO HELP YOU, AND ECLIPSE, YOU TRIED TO KILL THE FUCKING FREEDOM FIGHTERS!" Shadow yelled as he was not having them come inside.
"Aww, how do you remember all that?~" Eclipse asked. "BECAUSE I AM FUCKING DONE WITH BOTH OF YOU!" Shadow yelled. "Shadow, let us in this instant, or you will regret it, we know someone else is here" Black Doom said as he caught his son off-guard. Shadow then felt a heavy feeling of anxiety the moment he mentioned that someone other than himself was in the house, shocked that his father was onto him. "Now, if you want that SOMEONE to be safe, then I suggest you hear what I have to say and let me and your brother in" Black Doom said.
Shadow shakily growled and slowly removed himself from the door, caring too much about Sonic's safety. "Thank you, glad you listen when I say THAT to you" Black Doom said as he floats inside the house. Eclipse walked inside and laughed a bit while sticking his tongue out at him. Shadow growled and closed the door. "Do not sit on my fucking furniture" Shadow said with pure rage. "Why?~ Might have something on us?~" Eclipse asked as he laughed a bit more. Shadow growled louder and was steaming in the head.
"You will listen to what I have to say, it is about your powers" Black Doom said. "What about my powers?" Shadow asked while growling still. "You might have a power malfunction in the not-so-far future, I sensed it in you, that is why I am even here" Black Doom said. "What? Impossible, you are just saying that so I can mess up everything I have that is GOOD in my life here" Shadow said as he looked extremely pissed off. "Wow, negative much?~ I thought you would take the news seriously, but oh well~ Guess you never really changed~" Eclipse said with a laugh.
Sonic heard the commotion downstairs and his ears flicked a bit, causing him to wake up and yawned, feeling for Shadow's hand but realized there was no hand holding onto him, making him look and see that he was not behind him but a pillow was in his place, making Sonic get out of bed and slide on his slide-on slippers, walking out of the bedroom, curious about what is currently going on. As Sonic got out of the bedroom and walked near the stairs, the yelling got louder. 'What is going on down there?' Sonic thought as he went to the railing of the stairs and gasped softly when he saw Black Doom and Eclipse in the living room, with Shadow yelling at them, looking very aggravated.
"YOU ARE TRYING TO TRICK ME AGAIN, I CAN FUCKING FEEL IT IN MY GODDAMN MIND YOU ASSHOLE!!! FUCK YOU!!!" Shadow yelled. "Son, I am being honest with your ignorant little brain, that your powers will fail on you one day when you need them most, I sense it coming Shadow" Black Doom said to him. "YOU ARE FUCKING LYING TO ME!!!"Shadow yelled and looked up the stairs to see Sonic who was past his father's position, causing Black Doom and Eclipse to look up and see Sonic. "W-Why are there aliens in our house?" Sonic asked as he realized who they were and was shocked to see them even finding their way here.
"Ah, Sonic, so good to see you again, remember the time I almost dominated the world?" Black Doom said as he stared right into Sonic's eyes, sending a bit of fear into the hedgehog. "Aww, he is still as heroic as I remember, but a little bit fat since I last saw him~" Eclipse said. Sonic pinned his ears down from that comment Eclipse made and Shadow noticed his words. "What did you just say? Did you just fucking call him fat?! That is fucking it!" Shadow said darkly as he grips on Eclipse's arm and digs his fingers into his flesh, making Eclipse screech in pain. "NEVER CALL HIM FUCKING FAT YOU LITTLE FUCK!!!" Shadow said as he let his arm go while Eclipse held the spot where Shadow caused him pain only suffering a few bruises if anything.
"Shadow that was uncalled for, apologize to him or I will do something you will regret" Black Doom said as he showed he was serious. Shadow growled and looked at him. "Sorry you fucking shithead! There, you satisfied now!? FUCKING LEAVE NOW, I AM SICK OF YOU BOTH!" Shadow yelled as he went to Sonic and hugged him, trying to let him know he won't get verbally abused by his denied family he despised so much. "Are you really going to ignore what dad is telling you selfish bitch?~" Eclipse said as he winced in pain. "D-Dad? W-What is he talking about?" Sonic asked as he was being held by Shadow.
"I am part of him, he is a black arm, even though he tries to deny our existence, he has my blood in him, and I bet he NEVER told you about his other family to keep it hidden from you" Black Doom said. "Y-You hid stuff from me. . . I thought you said you would tell me the truth. . . you said we should be honest with each other. . . and yet. . . you never told me he was your father. . . what next, Eclipse being your brother?. . ." Sonic said as Shadow heard his voice sounding so hurt. "Actually, I am his brother~" Eclipse said as he looked up at Sonic while holding his arm still.
Sonic pinned his ears down and gets out of Shadow's grip, going back into the bedroom and slamming the door shut. Shadow was extremely pissed and went to them. "GET, THE, FUCK, OUT, OF, MY, HOUSE!!! THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING AND THE LAST STRAW!!! GET OUT!!!" Shadow said as he Chaos Blasts Black Doom and Eclipse out the door and slams the door shut behind them. "You will regret what you did Shadow, and you know it, don't say I didn't warn you about what my concern about your powers is, don't even come for me if that happens, watch, you are going to see it happen" Black Doom said as he floats away with Eclipse following him.
Shadow groaned and rubbed his head as he went upstairs and opened the door, Sonic looking at his belly and thought that Eclipse might be right. "I am becoming fat. . . I look like a fat hedgehog. . ." Sonic said as he sheds tears and pokes his belly and was starting to become a bit insecure. "Sonic, you are not fat, you a fluffy, and I love that about you, don't matter if you are a skinny boy or gaining a few pounds, I still love you, I don't think you are fat, you are so beautiful to me" Shadow said as he hugged Sonic from behind to make him feel better.
"Why would you hide your heritage from me?. . . Why?. . ." Sonic asked as he sounded hurt still. Shadow sighed and picked up Sonic bridal style as he then sits on the bed, holding him like a baby and cradling him in his arms. "I just. . . didn't want you to see me as a freak or a threat to you. . . my dad and brother did horrible things. . . and you saw that. . . and if I told you. . . I thought you would leave me and forget that my love for you even existed. . . I was. . . scared. . . to lose you. . . I lost someone once. . . I don't want to lose you. . ." Shadow said as he sheds a few tears.
Sonic looked and sniffled as he starts to shed tears too, hugging him as Shadow held him extremely close to him. "I don't want to lose you. . . I don't. . . want to. . . lose. . ." Shadow said and was basically choking on his words as he sheds more tears. "I-I understand now. . . but. . . I will never leave you. . ." Sonic said as he sheds tears on his shoulder. "Y-You won't?. . ." Shadow said as he looked at Sonic. "Y-You may be part black arm. . . but. . . there is a difference between you and the black arms. . . You have emotion. . . and feelings. . . and capable of love. . . and I would rather have this than any other person. . . you needed me. . . and I needed you. . . I love you so much Shadow. . . I will never leave you over something as major as that. . ." Sonic said as he softly cries and hugged Shadow more.
Shadow sheds tears still as he hugged Sonic more as well, happy that Sonic was still going to love him unconditionally and still be with him. "I love you too Sonic. . . I promise. . . I will tell you the truth from now on. . . except for surprises then that is totally different. . . but other than that, I will never lie to you again. . . I swear it. . . to you. . ." Shadow said as he made Sonic look at him. Sonic sniffled and felt Shadow wipe his tears away softly and gently with his thumb. "O-Okay. . . but, I am hungry. . ." Sonic said and sniffled less. Shadow chuckled and rubbed his cheek as he wipes his own tears off of his face. "Alright, we can get you a late-night meal" Shadow said as he gets up and holds Sonic still as he walks out of the bedroom and walks downstairs.
"You are a very hungry hedgehog huh?" Shadow asked as he walked to the kitchen and sets him down on the kitchen counter, rubbing his head. "Mhm, I am very hungry, sorry" Sonic said as he looked at Shadow. "No saying sorry, I am just wanting to make sure you don't have a grumbling hungry belly making you not be able to sleep the rest of the night" Shadow said as he takes out a pot and takes out some leftover beef stew he made yesterday and smiled as he pours it all in the pot to heat it up. Sonic looked and saw Shadow turn on the fire and starts to heat up the leftover beef stew for Sonic to eat.
After a couple of minutes went by, Shadow pours the beef stew into a bowl, puts a spoon in it, and picks him up in one arm along with the bowl going in the other arm and walks to the living room, setting him on the couch. "Here you go" Shadow said as he gives Sonic the beef stew with a spoon. "Thank you" Sonic said as he slowly picks up the spoon and blows on the beef, potatoes, and carrots on it and puts it into his mouth. Shadow sits down and smiles a bit, turning on the TV and putting on a show they can watch. "Want to watch the Wisp Rangers?" Shadow asked him. "Yeah, that would be nice to watch" Sonic said as he eats the beef stew.
"Alright, I will put that on" Shadow said as he found the show and rubs his back. "Thanks Shads" Sonic said as he nuzzles on Shadow. "You're welcome hun" Shadow said as he held Sonic while he ate, watching the show together. "I promise, I won't make you feel like I am hiding anything anymore, I will be vivid with you, just so you know how much I really care about our relationship" Shadow said as he kissed Sonic's head. "Thank you, that is all I want, just your honesty and your will to go through with telling me, honesty is the best policy after all, that is all I ask for" Sonic said. "Yeah, I know babe, I promise, now let's watch the show" Shadow said as he kissed his head again. "Okay Shads" Sonic said as he and Shadow went back to watching the show, enjoying their time while they are still wide awake and needing each other's comfort and love for the rest of the night.
