Sonic and Shadow were sleeping in bed as the Chao eggs still never hatched yet, but are still developing the Chao, healthy to say the least. Shadow slowly opened up his eyes and yawned as he then looked at Sonic, smiling softly as he rubs the right side of his body, loving his feminine-like curves. Sonic groans softly as he slowly stretches while opening his eyes, greeted by the beautiful sight of sunshine in his eyes, making him hiss a bit and look away, burrowing his head under the pillow. "Good morning my love" Shadow said as he rubbed his right side again.
"5 more minutes. . ." Sonic said as he groaned and tries to go back to sleep. "No baby, it is morning time, I am gonna make some breakfast, maybe some cinnamon rolls with extra cream cheese frosting with a side of fresh strawberries—" But before Shadow finished, Sonic bolted up and got out of bed. "Gooooooood mooooorrrniiiiiinnnggg" Sonic said as he kissed his face. Shadow chuckled and kissed his nose. "I want breakfast now!" Sonic said as he was excited and wide awake. "Alright, let me take out the dough I made overnight, I kept them in a warm place so they can retain their shape and proof overnight" Shadow said as he gets up and bends back, a back crack being heard before exhaling in satisfaction.
"I want them now! I am really hungry!" Sonic said as he wagged his tail very fast. "I will make them right now, but it will take time for them to bake babe, be patient babe" Shadow said as he walked out of the room and into the bathroom to freshen up, Sonic following and doing the same thing. After they were done freshening up, the two make their way downstairs to the kitchen where Shadow takes out the cinnamon rolls and had them in a round baking pan, preheating the oven to 350°F, and taking off the parchment paper he used to cover the cinnamon rolls. Sonic looked at the proofed cinnamon rolls and drooled a bit.
"No babe, not until they are baked, you can't eat raw dough my love" Shadow said with a chuckle. Sonic wagged his tail fast, being a bit impatient still. "It needs to bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown babe, then I need to let it cool for 10 minutes before I put on the cream cheese frosting I made, trust me, it will be worth the wait sweetie" Shadow said as he kisses his head. "Aww, booooooo, waiting is so overrated!" Sonic hmphed cutely as he pouts. "I promise once they are done, you will have your cinnamon rolls, I promise" Shadow said while chuckling and rubbing Sonic's head. "Fine, I will wait" Sonic said as he loved the head rubs.
~30 Minutes Later~
Shadow was finished frosting Sonic's cinnamon roll as he covers up the rest and stores them away, cuts the leaves of the strawberries off and putting them around the cinnamon roll in a heart, and finally putting a birthday candle on it and lighting it up a bit as he then goes to Sonic and smiles. Sonic looked and gasped as he saw the cinnamon roll with the candle on top with the strawberries lined up beautifully. "Happy Birthday my love" Shadow said as he places the cinnamon roll near Sonic. "And happy birthday to you too! I almost forgot, we both share the same birthday, what are the odds of that happening?" Sonic said with a giggle as he felt Shadow hugging him from behind.
"Meager percent actually, but, glad we share a birthday together, because less stuff to buy and we get to feel connected more than ever sweetie, now hurry up and make a wish" Shadow said as he kissed his head. Sonic closed his eyes for a few seconds and then blows out the candle, Shadow smiling and rubbing his back. "Enjoy your breakfast my blue hedgehog" Shadow said as he rubbed his head before going back into the kitchen to make himself a nice brewed coffee. Sonic on the other hand started to eat the cinnamon roll, loving the warmth, the chewiness, and even how the cinnamon and cream cheese frosting go well together, eating it from the outside first.
After Shadow brewed his coffee, he went back to Sonic who was eating the cinnamon roll with such happiness showing on his face. "Was it worth the wait babe?" Shadow asked as he sips his coffee and leans on the wall. "Mmmmhhhhmmmm" Sonic said as he was drowning in the sweet taste of the cinnamon roll that was really good to his tastebuds. "I am glad, I made those specially for your birthday hun" Shadow said as he smiled at him before taking another sip of his brewed coffee. "It is your birthday too mister" Sonic said with a giggle as he kept eating.
~Later in the Afternoon~
Sonic was making Shadow a bath, with some nice lavender bubbles, calming bath salts, lavender aroma therapy, a face mask, some cucumber slices, a small cup of Red Mountain Crisp wine, and a nice soft and creamy swiss roll. "Shadow, come here babe!" Sonic said as he waited for Shadow to come near the bathroom. "Coming right now" Shadow said as he was about to enter the bathroom. "Ah, close your eyes" Sonic said as he smiled. "Okay?" Shadow said as he closed his eyes and felt Sonic softly drag him inside, the soft calming scent of lavender hitting his nose, making him smile a bit wanting to know what Sonic did.
"Open your eyes babe!" Sonic said happily. Shadow opened and chuckled a bit from what he didn't expect. "You drew me up a bubble bath?" Shadow asked as he then looked at the bubbles that had real dried-up lavender flowers sprinkled on them, the face makes he loves to use, two cucumber slices on a little plate, the small cup of expensive red wine, and the dessert he loved which was a swiss roll. "Not just that, you get to have calming music, aromatherapy, and bath salts that will rejuvenate your body, and when you get out, you get another surprise" Sonic said.
"What kind of surprise sweetie?" Shadow asked as he took off his slide-on slippers. "Ah, not so fast mister, that would lose the whole purpose of it being a surprise, no way am I telling you silly" Sonic said with a giggle as he turns on soft relaxing music for his boyfriend before he left the bathroom. Shadow chuckled still as he slowly gets inside the tub, the bubbles surrounding him and putting his mind at ease since the lavender was doing its soothing effect on him. After Shadow got in, he takes out his face mask and puts it on his face.
Then he puts on the cucumber slices on his eyes, lastly, he takes a bite of the swiss roll and a sip of his red wine before fully relaxing in the lavender-scented bubbles. "This is actually not bad, Sonic really knows what he is doing, guess my skincare and bathing techniques are rubbing off of him" Shadow said as he soaked in the lavender water and its bubbles, feeling soothed and calm all the same. Meanwhile Sonic was preparing the bed for when Shadow got out of the bath, waiting for Shadow to get his second surprise from Sonic.
~45 Minutes Later~
Shadow got out of the bathtub and let the water go down before finishing up the last bit of his wine as he walked out in a soft fluffy robe and his slide-on slippers. "Come Shadow, get inside" Sonic said from inside the bedroom. Shadow listened and walked inside, shocked to see some lavender candles on, dried-up lavender on the bed, and some massage lotion that was scented lavender as well. "You get a full treatment babe, come, lay on your stomach and I will get you started" Sonic said as he saw Shadow take off the robe, walk over to the bed, takes off his slippers, and lay flat on his stomach.
"Good, now, relax and release all that tension in your muscles, and let me soothe your body" Sonic said as he opens the lotion bottle and squirts some of it into his hand before rubbing it on his back and starting to massage Shadow's back first. "Oh Chaos, Sonic, how are you this good with your hands? You are so good at massages and yet you only just started" Shadow said while he purred. "Well, not the first massage I gave, I did it for my sister and brother when they weren't feeling their best, and they told me the same thing, but differently obviously" Sonic said with a giggle while using his knuckles on his lower back, making Shadow groan softly in satisfaction.
"Well, you are a miracle worker with what you are doing, please, keep going love, I would love to feel stress-free Sonikku" Shadow said as he was relaxing still while purring and groaning. "Alright Shads, I promise by the end of your massage, you will feel like you are a brand new hedgehog without even realizing it" Sonic said with a smile as he then uses his palms and pressed on the pressure points on Shadow's back, relieving some tension in his muscles. "Chaos that is fucking good" Shadow said as she laughed a bit while still massaging his back.
~1 Hour Later~
Sonic was finished massaging Shadow's face and smiled when he saw it was 3PM, taking his hands off of his face and blowing out the lavender candles. "Alright, you are finished, one full hour of massage treatment for my love, I hope you liked it babe" Sonic said with a smile as Shadow slowly got up and felt so smooth and calm. "Damn, 1 hour? It felt like 20 minutes, but my fiance made my body feel so much better than I ever thought it would feel, it feels more rejuvenated than when I give myself a regular bubble bath, you are really a miracle worker" Shadow said as he hugged Sonic.
"And at least we know one thing, you smell like a lavender air freshener again" Sonic said with a laugh. "Hey, you be smelling like strawberry hedgehog shea sugar scrub I gave you, you be smelling like a walking strawberry, don't be a hypocrite" Shadow said with a chuckle. "At least I smell lively and sweet, you smell like calm ready for a snoozing hour vibe" Sonic said as he giggled a bit. "Oh you, don't be so silly with me" Shadow said as he rubbed Sonic's head and then got a text message from Rouge. The message read "Hey, can you and Sonic come to the park at 4PM? I wanna hang out with my two favorite hedgehogs, thank you Shadow! Tell Big Blue he is loved!".
"Who is that hun?" Sonic asked as he checked up on the Chao eggs, knowing they still haven't hatched yet, but still gives hope for them to hatch one day, thinking positive thoughts for the little ones. "It is Rouge, she is asking us to come to the park at 4PM, I don't know why, but it might be work-related stuff or whatever she wants to talk about, she also said you are loved" Shadow said. "Aww, that is so sweet and sure, we can go meet up with her in the next hour" Sonic said as he hugged Shadow softly while wagging his tail. "Okay Sonic, I will let Rouge know" Shadow said with a soft smile on his face as he rubbed Sonic's head.
~At 4PM~
Sonic and Shadow were walking in the park until Rouge flew down in front of them. "Hi you two! Can you wear these blindfolds? Please?" Rouge asked them both. "Oh hi Rouge, what for?" Sonic asked as he took one of the blindfolds. "This better not be a trick Rouge" Shadow said as he took the other blindfold. "I promise it will be amazing! No tricks involved, promise!" Rouge said as he waited for them to cover their eyes with the blindfolds they took from her. "Now, do not take off your blindfolds until I tell you to, we are going to do a bit of walking, so bear that in mind" Rouge said as she takes their hands and walks them to where she wanted them to go.
Sonic and Shadow began walking in the direction where Rouge was tugging them. After 5 minutes went by, Rouge suddenly stopped. "Huh, where are we now?" Sonic asked while the blindfold blocked his vision of where they were. "You better be honest about the trick thing" Shadow said as he was putting his guard up. "Alright, take off your blindfolds" Rouge said as she quickly flew near some people. Sonic and Shadow both take off their blindfolds and to their surprise, all of the couples, Sonic's family, and Shadow's cousin were all there, near a bunch of balloons, tables of food, drinks, and snacks, a beautiful cake, and some confetti and streamers.
"SURPRISE!!!" They all said as some of them popped the confetti onto the two and Sage floated to them with party hats, putting them on their heads and smiling before floating back to the others. Sonic and Shadow looked at each other and smiled while laughing a bit. "Aww you guys! Sis, bro, was this your idea?! Ma, were you involved?!" Sonic said. "Heck yeah, our bro's b-day is today, and a little birdie told me he sharing a birthday with his fi-an-ce!" Manic said as he blew a noise maker. "When we heard, it was the greatest news, we just had to get your friends involved, and little Sage here brought them all together and helped us set up the party!" Sonia said as Sage looked away in embarrassment.
"Sage, you brought all of them to this little party?" Shadow asked. "Y-Yes, I wanted them to celebrate both of you, so I gathered them up as soon as the bat told me where to find them all, I had no hesitation to search and retrieve them" Sage said as she looked at her cousin. "Aww, that was super sweet of you Sage, thank you for helping them out" Sonic said with a heartwarming smile. "You're welcome Sonic" Sage said with a smile back at him. "Now let's party!" Rouge said as the couples whooped and cheered as Sonic's siblings put on some fire music to set the mood for their party to start.
~During The Party~
Silver and Mephiles were relaxing near a tree and leaning on it, Manic, Scourge, and Fleetway were cuddling against each other in the chairs, Rookie and Infinite were up in the tree, Rookie relaxing on top of his lover's sexy body, Espio was talking and laughing a bit with Mighty and Vector near the food and drink table, Tails and Knuckles were sitting in the grass and nuzzling each other, Amy was chatting with Blaze and Rouge with some regular soft drinks, Whisper and Tangle were both eating some food in the chairs, and Sonia and Tikal were talking near the cake as they smiled at each other.
Sonic and Shadow were sitting in special birthday custom chairs and kissing each other's cheeks over and over. "I love you so much" Sonic said. "And I love you too" Shadow said. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE! TIME TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AND THEN CAKE AND PRESENTS!" Aleena said. All of the drew their attention to Sonic's mother as they all started to come near the table with the cake on it, ready to sing to them. Sonic and Shadow's seats were then levitated by Silver so they can be near the cake so they can start. Sonic and Shadow looked at everyone as they sang together in perfect unison as Aleena lit up the candles on their cake.
After they sang the song, Sonic and Shadow together blew out the candles and they all cheered. After that, Sonic took the cake knife and cuts the first slice of cake, revealing a rainbow-layered cake inside, setting it down on the plate for himself and Shadow to share. Aleena then took over and started to cut some more pieces for the others who wanted the cake. After a couple of minutes went by, Aleena went near the table where Sonic and Shadow were sitting and spoke to the others. "PRESENT TIME!" Aleena said as she watches the others bring presents for them.
Sonic got presents from Sonia, Manic, Aleena, Silver, Fleetway, Rookie, Espio, Tails, Amy, Blaze, Whisper, Tikal, and Sage. Shadow got presents from Sonia, Manic, Aleena, Mephiles, Scourge, Infinite, Mighty, Vector, Rouge, Tangle, and Sage. "Sage can you do me a favor, can you go into our house and pick up my present for Shadow, was gonna give it to him, but now that I am here, I can't get it, can you help get it? It is under my pillow in the bed to the right" Sonic whispered to Sage. Sage nodded and was about to leave, but Shadow whispered to her too.
"Cousin, I forgot my present for Sonic, can you get it for me? It is at the very top of my kitchen cabinet, Sonic never looked up there so I hid it, so can you please get it for me, it will make your cousin very happy" Shadow whispered to her. Sage nodded again before teleporting away and appearing in Sonic and Shadow's shared abode. Sage went into the bedroom first and found a small rectangular box with a red ribbon on it, taking it with her, she then went into the kitchen and floated up to the top to see if she can find Shadow's present, the present in fact being there.
"It was a medium box with a blue ribbon on it, Sage took it and teleported back to the party, giving Sonic Shadow's present, and give Shadow Sonic's present. "Alright, open your gifts! Sonic goes first! Go on baby open your gifts!" Aleena said as she recorded the moment on her phone. Sonic opened the first 2 presents that were from Sonia and Manic, revealing them to be a new fashion sweater with a pride flag guitar pick and the brand new Chao Mystery Chase board game they loved to play. "Aww, you guys, you didn't have to!" Sonic said with a smile as he puts them down so he can continue opening the presents.
The next present was from his mother, Sonic opened it to reveal a knitted scarf she made that resembled the gay flag. "Aww ma, this is so beautiful! Thank you, I will use it this fall and winter!" Sonic said as he puts it down and goes on to the rest of the presents. Sonic opened Silver's present to reveal a set of rainbow plates and kitchen appliances that he can use. "Ooooo, these are nice Silvy!" Sonic said as he put them down with the presents that were already opened. Next one was from Fleetway, Sonic opening it up to reveal a rainbow throw for their living room. "So soft and pretty, thank you Fleet!" Sonic said as he placed the throw with the others.
Next one was from Rookie, Sonic opened it to see a special rainbow speaker for Sonic to listen to music on. "Cool! Thanks Rookie, I needed one of these!" Sonic said as he put it down. This next present was from Espio, Sonic opened it to see a pair of cherry blossom-shaped dessert plates. "Aww, now I can use these for small desserts like Shadow's tiramisu! Thanks Espio!" Sonic said as he then takes the next present that was near him. The next one was from Tails, Sonic quickly opened it to see a chilidog shirt that says "Eat the chilidogs, get the rings, clear that goal" on it, making Sonic laugh. "Tails, you really had to make a joke out of it" Sonic said as he died down his laughter and took the next present.
This one was from Amy, Sonic opened it to see a set of rainbow picture frames. "Aww, Ames, now I can put my most memorable pictures in these, thanks!" Sonic said as he picks up the next present. This other one was from Blaze, Sonic opened it and saw a rainbow-colored pair of sneakers. "Ooooo, we going with them pride sneakers, gonna pull up in them in my car one day, thanks Blaze!" Sonic said as he picked the next present. This was from Whisper, Sonic opened it to see a rainbow sunhat in it. "Aww, thanks Whisper, this hat will go on my head when the next summer hits! This is so pretty! Very thoughtful of you!" Sonic said as he picks up the next present, one present left to open after that.
This next one was from Tikal, Sonic opened it to find rainbow crystals on a necklace. "Crystals? Aww, these are so pretty, I will be sure to wear them one day, thank you Tikal!" Sonic said as he picked up the last present. This final present was from Sage, Sonic opened it to find a beautiful Koco mask that was specially made for his face and head. "Aww, so I don't forget the Koco, thank you Sage, this is so cute, I will be sure to wear this on special occasions, thank you" Sonic said as he gathered up all his presents, his mother coming prepared and placing them all in a bag so he can take them home easier. "Thank you everyone, I love all of your gifts, they were all so thoughtful and sweet, this is the best birthday ever!" Sonic said as he wagged his tail.
"Alright, Shadow is next to open his presents, go on ahead sweetie!" Aleena said as she recorded him too. Shadow took his first two presents which were from Sonia and Manic, opening them up to reveal a nice jean jacket with some embroidery on it and a rainbow shot glass that says "One sip of drunk gay" on it. "This is nice, I love these both a lot, thank you Sonia and Manic" Shadow said as he picks up his next present. This one was from Aleena, Shadow opened it to find a beautiful rainbow-knitted sweater. "I love this, thank you Aleena" Shadow said as he takes the next present.
Next one was from Mephiles, Shadow opened it to reveal a rainbow apron on it that says "Kiss the gay, or no food for you fuckers!" on it, making Shadow chuckle a bit. "Damn Meph, you really gotta hit me with my skill, thanks anyways" Shadow said as he stopped chuckling and picks up his next present. This one was from Scourge, Shadow opened it to reveal a set of rainbow alcoholic appliances to make some drinks in his house. "This is actually something I wanted for a while, thanks Scourge" Shadow said as he takes the next present.
This next one was from Infinite, Shadow opened it to reveal some lavender skincare items and aromatic fragrances. "Wow, this is actually nice Fin, thanks a bunch" Shadow said as he picks up his next present. This was from Mighty, Shadow opened it to see a rainbow filter so Shadow can ride his motorcycle in the dark and see the gay light while he rides. "Ha, love this, gonna install these tonight, thanks Mighty" Shadow said as he takes the next present. Next one was from Vector, Shadow opened it up to see a rainbow bandana inside. "Wow, I needed one for quite some time now, but this is a great time to receive one, thanks Vec" Shadow said as he picks up another present.
This was from Rouge, Shadow opened it to reveal a picture of Sonic on a lavender-colored picture frame, the picture of them at the pool having fun. "Wow, don't know how you got this picture, but this is a great one, and the color of the frame is lavender, thank you Rouge" Shadow said as he picks up the next present. This next one was from Tangle, Shadow opened it up to see a gay flag blanket for their bedroom. "Now we can sleep gayly all year round, thanks Tangle" Shadow said as he picks up the final present. The last present was from Sage, Shadow opened it up to see a picture of Maria, Gerald, and Shadow in it inside a shiny gold-colored picture frame, making Shadow tear up a bit. "This picture is so beautiful and was restored to show color, thank you so much Sage" Shadow said as he wipes his tears and feels Sonic hugging him.
Aleena takes his presents and puts them in a bag as well, making sure all of them were inside and not likely to fall out. Sonic kissed his face as Shadow smiled a bit and stopped shedding tears. "No sad, this is a happy day for you and me, they would want you to be happy today" Sonic said as he then saw Shadow take out a present for Sonic, kissing his cheek in the process. "You're right, and I saved this last present just for you" Shadow said as he pushed the present over to Sonic. "Aww, I wonder what it is" Sonic said as he started to open his present to find a book inside, but when he opened it, it was a scrapbook about all the times they had together.
"Aww, Shadow this is so beautiful, what an amazing scrapbook, but what about the other pages? They are blank" Sonic said. "This is for you to give more memories in it as time moves forward, happy birthday my love" Shadow said as he takes his hand and takes it. "Actually, I got a present for you too" Sonic said as he takes out the small present and gives it to Shadow. "A present for me? I wonder what is inside" Shadow said as he slowly opened it and saw something that made him extremely shocked, taking it out, everyone saw a pregnancy test inside it, the test showing it was positive, making them shocked as well.
"What is this Sonic? Did you get the wrong gift for me?" Shadow asked, thinking it was a little mix-up. "Shadow, that is your birthday present, we are having a baby!" Sonic said as now everyone realized why his stomach was getting a bit bigger than it should be. Shadow cried happy tears as he hugged Sonic, happy that Sonic was going to have their baby. "How far along are you?!" Shadow asked as he sheds happy tears. "4 months and 3 weeks pregnant" Sonic said, shocking everyone, even his own family. "THAT IS ALMOST A WHOLE PREGNANCY! 5 MONTHS AND A BABY IS BORN! AND I AM GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!" Sonia said as she jumped up and down.
"THIS IS INSANE, I AM GONNA BE AN UNCLE?! AWESOME!!!" Manic said as he jumped up and down with his sister. Aleena was shedding happy tears as she realized that one of her babies was pregnant. "I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA, IS THIS REAL SONIC?!" Aleena asked. "It is real ma, your grandchild is in my belly and growing healthy inside of me" Sonic said as he smiled brightly. "Is that why you had those weird cravings at night with the peanut butter and pickles, chilidogs and sour cream, and even the chocolate with potato chips?" Shadow asked.
"Yes babe, the baby was giving me weird cravings, sure it tasted disgusting, but if the baby wanted it, then I have to respect the little one" Sonic said as Shadow hugged Sonic's belly. "Hi little sweetie, I know we were with each other for over 4 months, but now that I know about your existence, know that once you come into the world, I promise to be a good daddy to you, it doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, as long as I have the honor of raising you as my own flesh and blood, then I will be truly happy to do it, for you and Sonic to be happy" Shadow said as he kisses his belly, making Sonic giggle and everyone awe.
"Was it worth the wait to know about my body now?" Sonic asked. "Yes, now it truly makes sense to me, you were pregnant this whole time, this is the greatest gift I could ever receive, thank you Sonikku" Shadow said as he kept hugging his belly. "You are very welcome Shads, I only have a week left before the baby comes, and you can cuddle with him or her all you like" Sonic said with a smile. "A week? Then I will make sure your last week with this little one in your belly will be memorable, I promise to protect you and the little one until the day he or she is born, count on that" Shadow said as he felt Sonic's belly move a bit, the baby kicking him in the face. "The baby hopes you will be a great help to me" Sonic said with a giggle.
"Hey, don't kick daddy little sweetheart, I want to love you all I want, no kicking me or you get no cuddles from daddy" Shadow said with a chuckle as he kisses his belly. After that, Sonic kissed Shadow passionately on the lips, the couples, Sonic's family, and Shadow's cousin clapping and cheering for the birthday boys who would then become parents the next week. Sage looked at Shadow and went to him, tapping his shoulder. Shadow breaks the kiss and looks at Sage. "I am sorry to break up the little tender loving moment, but I must be leaving now, I told father a lie, about me trying to find some more information chips for Orbot and Cubot, he said they were urgently needed, and I told him it would take an hour or more to find them" Sage said, but herself lying to them so they don't grow suspicious.
"Alright, take care of yourself Sage, be careful, we love you so much, don't want anything to happen to our supporter" Shadow said as he rubbed her head. "Right, well, goodbye everyone" Sage said as she floated up. "Bye Sage, see you soon!" Sonic said. "BYE!" the others said as they waved at her. Sage smiled and disappeared in a red glitchy distorted hue of light, Sonic and Shadow then continuing their kiss, as the others smiled for the happy to-be-parents, hoping to be involved with the little baby's life.
~At Eggman's Secret Lair~
Sage quickly got back just the moment she appeared in front of her father, but her smile immediately changed into a sad frown, knowing she deceived her own cousin, Sonic, and the others. "DID YOU FIND ANY INFORMATION?!" Eggman yelled at Sage. "I-I did father. . ." Sage said. "THEN SPIT IT OUT, I MUST KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, AND HOW I CAN TAKE THAT TO MY ADVANTAGE!!!" Eggman said as he hits his hand on the holographic glass keyboard as he typed out his plans on his big computer.
"S-Sonic is. . . going through major changes. . ." Sage said as Eggman kept typing. "WHAT CHANGES, I NEED THAT INFO!" Eggman said as he kept typing on the big computer. "H-He is. . . pregnant. . . it seems. . ." Sage said as Eggman stopped and looked directly at her, fixing his gloves a bit. "WHAT?! PREGNANT?! UNLESS. . . SONIC IS A HERMAPHRODITE THIS WHOLE TIME!? YES, YEEEESSSS, THIS IS BRILLIANT, HOW MANY MONTHS IS HE, TELL ME!" Eggman yelled at her. "A-Approximately 4 months and 3 weeks. . ." Sage said as she looked down and closed her eyes shut.
"THAT MEANS. . . ONE WEEK FROM NOW, SONIC WILL BE GIVING BIRTH!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RICH!!! I WILL KIDNAP HIM ONCE HE COMES OUT AT THE PERFECT MOMENT, AND TAKE HIM TO MY LAIR, THERE, ONCE HE IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH, I WILL THREATEN HIM TO GIVE ME HIS CHILD, AND FROM THEN ON, THE CHILD WILL BELONG TO ME, AND BE A FAIR ASSET TO MY CAUSE IN DEFEATING SONIC EVERY TIME!!! SONIC BEING KIND-HEARTED AS HE IS, WILL DO ANYTHING TO NOT HURT HIS CHILD!!! THIS PLAN WILL NOT FAIL!!! I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!" Eggman said with a loud and scary evil laugh as his plan was so cruel, that Sonic would have no chance of winning against him if that plan truly does come to fruition.
"B-But. . . Shadow is the. . . one who impregnated him. . .—" Sage got cut off by Eggman stopping his evil laugh. "EVEN BETTER!!! YOU KNOW HOW STRONG SHADOW IS?! THAT BABY WILL BE INVINCIBLE ONCE HE OR SHE GROWS UP, GIVING ME THE ABILITY TO WIN AGAINST SONIC AND SHADOW COMBINED!!! THIS IS THE BEST PLAN I EVER CAME UP WITH, THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME SAGE, WHAT A WONDERFUL DAUGHTER I HAVE, NOW, LET ME GET TO WORK ON THE EGG DRAGOON, I HAVE TO USE IT TO KIDNAP SONIC SOON!!!" Eggman said as he walked away and the doors automatically closed behind him.
Sage fell on her knees and shed so many tears, knowing she betrayed the only cousin she ever had, along with Sonic who trusted her, knowing once they find out, she will never be able to see them again, making her hug herself as she laments in her decision to help her father. "W-What have I done?. . . S-Shadow I am so sorry. . . along with you Sonic. . . I-I am the worst creation father created. . . I-I can't do anything. . . but watch you in defeat. . . and despair. . . this is all my fault that this is going to happen. . . forgive me. . . Sonic. . . forgive me. . . Shadow. . . forgive me. . . everyone. . . for betraying you all like this. . ." Sage said as her body glitched so much from her tears, her outfit and glitchy red parts turning into a white dress, white tights, white shoes, and blue eyes that shimmered beautifully, her glitching red turning into glitching bluish-teal, showing she was not going to comply with her father for much longer and yearning for the side of good, her body glitching so much that the colors from black and red to white and bluish-teal went non-stop for the rest of the day as Sage looked at her hands, admitting defeat then and there in sorrowful tears and pure perpetual agony.
"5 more minutes. . ." Sonic said as he groaned and tries to go back to sleep. "No baby, it is morning time, I am gonna make some breakfast, maybe some cinnamon rolls with extra cream cheese frosting with a side of fresh strawberries—" But before Shadow finished, Sonic bolted up and got out of bed. "Gooooooood mooooorrrniiiiiinnnggg" Sonic said as he kissed his face. Shadow chuckled and kissed his nose. "I want breakfast now!" Sonic said as he was excited and wide awake. "Alright, let me take out the dough I made overnight, I kept them in a warm place so they can retain their shape and proof overnight" Shadow said as he gets up and bends back, a back crack being heard before exhaling in satisfaction.
"I want them now! I am really hungry!" Sonic said as he wagged his tail very fast. "I will make them right now, but it will take time for them to bake babe, be patient babe" Shadow said as he walked out of the room and into the bathroom to freshen up, Sonic following and doing the same thing. After they were done freshening up, the two make their way downstairs to the kitchen where Shadow takes out the cinnamon rolls and had them in a round baking pan, preheating the oven to 350°F, and taking off the parchment paper he used to cover the cinnamon rolls. Sonic looked at the proofed cinnamon rolls and drooled a bit.
"No babe, not until they are baked, you can't eat raw dough my love" Shadow said with a chuckle. Sonic wagged his tail fast, being a bit impatient still. "It needs to bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown babe, then I need to let it cool for 10 minutes before I put on the cream cheese frosting I made, trust me, it will be worth the wait sweetie" Shadow said as he kisses his head. "Aww, booooooo, waiting is so overrated!" Sonic hmphed cutely as he pouts. "I promise once they are done, you will have your cinnamon rolls, I promise" Shadow said while chuckling and rubbing Sonic's head. "Fine, I will wait" Sonic said as he loved the head rubs.
~30 Minutes Later~
Shadow was finished frosting Sonic's cinnamon roll as he covers up the rest and stores them away, cuts the leaves of the strawberries off and putting them around the cinnamon roll in a heart, and finally putting a birthday candle on it and lighting it up a bit as he then goes to Sonic and smiles. Sonic looked and gasped as he saw the cinnamon roll with the candle on top with the strawberries lined up beautifully. "Happy Birthday my love" Shadow said as he places the cinnamon roll near Sonic. "And happy birthday to you too! I almost forgot, we both share the same birthday, what are the odds of that happening?" Sonic said with a giggle as he felt Shadow hugging him from behind.
"Meager percent actually, but, glad we share a birthday together, because less stuff to buy and we get to feel connected more than ever sweetie, now hurry up and make a wish" Shadow said as he kissed his head. Sonic closed his eyes for a few seconds and then blows out the candle, Shadow smiling and rubbing his back. "Enjoy your breakfast my blue hedgehog" Shadow said as he rubbed his head before going back into the kitchen to make himself a nice brewed coffee. Sonic on the other hand started to eat the cinnamon roll, loving the warmth, the chewiness, and even how the cinnamon and cream cheese frosting go well together, eating it from the outside first.
After Shadow brewed his coffee, he went back to Sonic who was eating the cinnamon roll with such happiness showing on his face. "Was it worth the wait babe?" Shadow asked as he sips his coffee and leans on the wall. "Mmmmhhhhmmmm" Sonic said as he was drowning in the sweet taste of the cinnamon roll that was really good to his tastebuds. "I am glad, I made those specially for your birthday hun" Shadow said as he smiled at him before taking another sip of his brewed coffee. "It is your birthday too mister" Sonic said with a giggle as he kept eating.
~Later in the Afternoon~
Sonic was making Shadow a bath, with some nice lavender bubbles, calming bath salts, lavender aroma therapy, a face mask, some cucumber slices, a small cup of Red Mountain Crisp wine, and a nice soft and creamy swiss roll. "Shadow, come here babe!" Sonic said as he waited for Shadow to come near the bathroom. "Coming right now" Shadow said as he was about to enter the bathroom. "Ah, close your eyes" Sonic said as he smiled. "Okay?" Shadow said as he closed his eyes and felt Sonic softly drag him inside, the soft calming scent of lavender hitting his nose, making him smile a bit wanting to know what Sonic did.
"Open your eyes babe!" Sonic said happily. Shadow opened and chuckled a bit from what he didn't expect. "You drew me up a bubble bath?" Shadow asked as he then looked at the bubbles that had real dried-up lavender flowers sprinkled on them, the face makes he loves to use, two cucumber slices on a little plate, the small cup of expensive red wine, and the dessert he loved which was a swiss roll. "Not just that, you get to have calming music, aromatherapy, and bath salts that will rejuvenate your body, and when you get out, you get another surprise" Sonic said.
"What kind of surprise sweetie?" Shadow asked as he took off his slide-on slippers. "Ah, not so fast mister, that would lose the whole purpose of it being a surprise, no way am I telling you silly" Sonic said with a giggle as he turns on soft relaxing music for his boyfriend before he left the bathroom. Shadow chuckled still as he slowly gets inside the tub, the bubbles surrounding him and putting his mind at ease since the lavender was doing its soothing effect on him. After Shadow got in, he takes out his face mask and puts it on his face.
Then he puts on the cucumber slices on his eyes, lastly, he takes a bite of the swiss roll and a sip of his red wine before fully relaxing in the lavender-scented bubbles. "This is actually not bad, Sonic really knows what he is doing, guess my skincare and bathing techniques are rubbing off of him" Shadow said as he soaked in the lavender water and its bubbles, feeling soothed and calm all the same. Meanwhile Sonic was preparing the bed for when Shadow got out of the bath, waiting for Shadow to get his second surprise from Sonic.
~45 Minutes Later~
Shadow got out of the bathtub and let the water go down before finishing up the last bit of his wine as he walked out in a soft fluffy robe and his slide-on slippers. "Come Shadow, get inside" Sonic said from inside the bedroom. Shadow listened and walked inside, shocked to see some lavender candles on, dried-up lavender on the bed, and some massage lotion that was scented lavender as well. "You get a full treatment babe, come, lay on your stomach and I will get you started" Sonic said as he saw Shadow take off the robe, walk over to the bed, takes off his slippers, and lay flat on his stomach.
"Good, now, relax and release all that tension in your muscles, and let me soothe your body" Sonic said as he opens the lotion bottle and squirts some of it into his hand before rubbing it on his back and starting to massage Shadow's back first. "Oh Chaos, Sonic, how are you this good with your hands? You are so good at massages and yet you only just started" Shadow said while he purred. "Well, not the first massage I gave, I did it for my sister and brother when they weren't feeling their best, and they told me the same thing, but differently obviously" Sonic said with a giggle while using his knuckles on his lower back, making Shadow groan softly in satisfaction.
"Well, you are a miracle worker with what you are doing, please, keep going love, I would love to feel stress-free Sonikku" Shadow said as he was relaxing still while purring and groaning. "Alright Shads, I promise by the end of your massage, you will feel like you are a brand new hedgehog without even realizing it" Sonic said with a smile as he then uses his palms and pressed on the pressure points on Shadow's back, relieving some tension in his muscles. "Chaos that is fucking good" Shadow said as she laughed a bit while still massaging his back.
~1 Hour Later~
Sonic was finished massaging Shadow's face and smiled when he saw it was 3PM, taking his hands off of his face and blowing out the lavender candles. "Alright, you are finished, one full hour of massage treatment for my love, I hope you liked it babe" Sonic said with a smile as Shadow slowly got up and felt so smooth and calm. "Damn, 1 hour? It felt like 20 minutes, but my fiance made my body feel so much better than I ever thought it would feel, it feels more rejuvenated than when I give myself a regular bubble bath, you are really a miracle worker" Shadow said as he hugged Sonic.
"And at least we know one thing, you smell like a lavender air freshener again" Sonic said with a laugh. "Hey, you be smelling like strawberry hedgehog shea sugar scrub I gave you, you be smelling like a walking strawberry, don't be a hypocrite" Shadow said with a chuckle. "At least I smell lively and sweet, you smell like calm ready for a snoozing hour vibe" Sonic said as he giggled a bit. "Oh you, don't be so silly with me" Shadow said as he rubbed Sonic's head and then got a text message from Rouge. The message read "Hey, can you and Sonic come to the park at 4PM? I wanna hang out with my two favorite hedgehogs, thank you Shadow! Tell Big Blue he is loved!".
"Who is that hun?" Sonic asked as he checked up on the Chao eggs, knowing they still haven't hatched yet, but still gives hope for them to hatch one day, thinking positive thoughts for the little ones. "It is Rouge, she is asking us to come to the park at 4PM, I don't know why, but it might be work-related stuff or whatever she wants to talk about, she also said you are loved" Shadow said. "Aww, that is so sweet and sure, we can go meet up with her in the next hour" Sonic said as he hugged Shadow softly while wagging his tail. "Okay Sonic, I will let Rouge know" Shadow said with a soft smile on his face as he rubbed Sonic's head.
~At 4PM~
Sonic and Shadow were walking in the park until Rouge flew down in front of them. "Hi you two! Can you wear these blindfolds? Please?" Rouge asked them both. "Oh hi Rouge, what for?" Sonic asked as he took one of the blindfolds. "This better not be a trick Rouge" Shadow said as he took the other blindfold. "I promise it will be amazing! No tricks involved, promise!" Rouge said as he waited for them to cover their eyes with the blindfolds they took from her. "Now, do not take off your blindfolds until I tell you to, we are going to do a bit of walking, so bear that in mind" Rouge said as she takes their hands and walks them to where she wanted them to go.
Sonic and Shadow began walking in the direction where Rouge was tugging them. After 5 minutes went by, Rouge suddenly stopped. "Huh, where are we now?" Sonic asked while the blindfold blocked his vision of where they were. "You better be honest about the trick thing" Shadow said as he was putting his guard up. "Alright, take off your blindfolds" Rouge said as she quickly flew near some people. Sonic and Shadow both take off their blindfolds and to their surprise, all of the couples, Sonic's family, and Shadow's cousin were all there, near a bunch of balloons, tables of food, drinks, and snacks, a beautiful cake, and some confetti and streamers.
"SURPRISE!!!" They all said as some of them popped the confetti onto the two and Sage floated to them with party hats, putting them on their heads and smiling before floating back to the others. Sonic and Shadow looked at each other and smiled while laughing a bit. "Aww you guys! Sis, bro, was this your idea?! Ma, were you involved?!" Sonic said. "Heck yeah, our bro's b-day is today, and a little birdie told me he sharing a birthday with his fi-an-ce!" Manic said as he blew a noise maker. "When we heard, it was the greatest news, we just had to get your friends involved, and little Sage here brought them all together and helped us set up the party!" Sonia said as Sage looked away in embarrassment.
"Sage, you brought all of them to this little party?" Shadow asked. "Y-Yes, I wanted them to celebrate both of you, so I gathered them up as soon as the bat told me where to find them all, I had no hesitation to search and retrieve them" Sage said as she looked at her cousin. "Aww, that was super sweet of you Sage, thank you for helping them out" Sonic said with a heartwarming smile. "You're welcome Sonic" Sage said with a smile back at him. "Now let's party!" Rouge said as the couples whooped and cheered as Sonic's siblings put on some fire music to set the mood for their party to start.
~During The Party~
Silver and Mephiles were relaxing near a tree and leaning on it, Manic, Scourge, and Fleetway were cuddling against each other in the chairs, Rookie and Infinite were up in the tree, Rookie relaxing on top of his lover's sexy body, Espio was talking and laughing a bit with Mighty and Vector near the food and drink table, Tails and Knuckles were sitting in the grass and nuzzling each other, Amy was chatting with Blaze and Rouge with some regular soft drinks, Whisper and Tangle were both eating some food in the chairs, and Sonia and Tikal were talking near the cake as they smiled at each other.
Sonic and Shadow were sitting in special birthday custom chairs and kissing each other's cheeks over and over. "I love you so much" Sonic said. "And I love you too" Shadow said. "ALRIGHT EVERYONE! TIME TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AND THEN CAKE AND PRESENTS!" Aleena said. All of the drew their attention to Sonic's mother as they all started to come near the table with the cake on it, ready to sing to them. Sonic and Shadow's seats were then levitated by Silver so they can be near the cake so they can start. Sonic and Shadow looked at everyone as they sang together in perfect unison as Aleena lit up the candles on their cake.
After they sang the song, Sonic and Shadow together blew out the candles and they all cheered. After that, Sonic took the cake knife and cuts the first slice of cake, revealing a rainbow-layered cake inside, setting it down on the plate for himself and Shadow to share. Aleena then took over and started to cut some more pieces for the others who wanted the cake. After a couple of minutes went by, Aleena went near the table where Sonic and Shadow were sitting and spoke to the others. "PRESENT TIME!" Aleena said as she watches the others bring presents for them.
Sonic got presents from Sonia, Manic, Aleena, Silver, Fleetway, Rookie, Espio, Tails, Amy, Blaze, Whisper, Tikal, and Sage. Shadow got presents from Sonia, Manic, Aleena, Mephiles, Scourge, Infinite, Mighty, Vector, Rouge, Tangle, and Sage. "Sage can you do me a favor, can you go into our house and pick up my present for Shadow, was gonna give it to him, but now that I am here, I can't get it, can you help get it? It is under my pillow in the bed to the right" Sonic whispered to Sage. Sage nodded and was about to leave, but Shadow whispered to her too.
"Cousin, I forgot my present for Sonic, can you get it for me? It is at the very top of my kitchen cabinet, Sonic never looked up there so I hid it, so can you please get it for me, it will make your cousin very happy" Shadow whispered to her. Sage nodded again before teleporting away and appearing in Sonic and Shadow's shared abode. Sage went into the bedroom first and found a small rectangular box with a red ribbon on it, taking it with her, she then went into the kitchen and floated up to the top to see if she can find Shadow's present, the present in fact being there.
"It was a medium box with a blue ribbon on it, Sage took it and teleported back to the party, giving Sonic Shadow's present, and give Shadow Sonic's present. "Alright, open your gifts! Sonic goes first! Go on baby open your gifts!" Aleena said as she recorded the moment on her phone. Sonic opened the first 2 presents that were from Sonia and Manic, revealing them to be a new fashion sweater with a pride flag guitar pick and the brand new Chao Mystery Chase board game they loved to play. "Aww, you guys, you didn't have to!" Sonic said with a smile as he puts them down so he can continue opening the presents.
The next present was from his mother, Sonic opened it to reveal a knitted scarf she made that resembled the gay flag. "Aww ma, this is so beautiful! Thank you, I will use it this fall and winter!" Sonic said as he puts it down and goes on to the rest of the presents. Sonic opened Silver's present to reveal a set of rainbow plates and kitchen appliances that he can use. "Ooooo, these are nice Silvy!" Sonic said as he put them down with the presents that were already opened. Next one was from Fleetway, Sonic opening it up to reveal a rainbow throw for their living room. "So soft and pretty, thank you Fleet!" Sonic said as he placed the throw with the others.
Next one was from Rookie, Sonic opened it to see a special rainbow speaker for Sonic to listen to music on. "Cool! Thanks Rookie, I needed one of these!" Sonic said as he put it down. This next present was from Espio, Sonic opened it to see a pair of cherry blossom-shaped dessert plates. "Aww, now I can use these for small desserts like Shadow's tiramisu! Thanks Espio!" Sonic said as he then takes the next present that was near him. The next one was from Tails, Sonic quickly opened it to see a chilidog shirt that says "Eat the chilidogs, get the rings, clear that goal" on it, making Sonic laugh. "Tails, you really had to make a joke out of it" Sonic said as he died down his laughter and took the next present.
This one was from Amy, Sonic opened it to see a set of rainbow picture frames. "Aww, Ames, now I can put my most memorable pictures in these, thanks!" Sonic said as he picks up the next present. This other one was from Blaze, Sonic opened it and saw a rainbow-colored pair of sneakers. "Ooooo, we going with them pride sneakers, gonna pull up in them in my car one day, thanks Blaze!" Sonic said as he picked the next present. This was from Whisper, Sonic opened it to see a rainbow sunhat in it. "Aww, thanks Whisper, this hat will go on my head when the next summer hits! This is so pretty! Very thoughtful of you!" Sonic said as he picks up the next present, one present left to open after that.
This next one was from Tikal, Sonic opened it to find rainbow crystals on a necklace. "Crystals? Aww, these are so pretty, I will be sure to wear them one day, thank you Tikal!" Sonic said as he picked up the last present. This final present was from Sage, Sonic opened it to find a beautiful Koco mask that was specially made for his face and head. "Aww, so I don't forget the Koco, thank you Sage, this is so cute, I will be sure to wear this on special occasions, thank you" Sonic said as he gathered up all his presents, his mother coming prepared and placing them all in a bag so he can take them home easier. "Thank you everyone, I love all of your gifts, they were all so thoughtful and sweet, this is the best birthday ever!" Sonic said as he wagged his tail.
"Alright, Shadow is next to open his presents, go on ahead sweetie!" Aleena said as she recorded him too. Shadow took his first two presents which were from Sonia and Manic, opening them up to reveal a nice jean jacket with some embroidery on it and a rainbow shot glass that says "One sip of drunk gay" on it. "This is nice, I love these both a lot, thank you Sonia and Manic" Shadow said as he picks up his next present. This one was from Aleena, Shadow opened it to find a beautiful rainbow-knitted sweater. "I love this, thank you Aleena" Shadow said as he takes the next present.
Next one was from Mephiles, Shadow opened it to reveal a rainbow apron on it that says "Kiss the gay, or no food for you fuckers!" on it, making Shadow chuckle a bit. "Damn Meph, you really gotta hit me with my skill, thanks anyways" Shadow said as he stopped chuckling and picks up his next present. This one was from Scourge, Shadow opened it to reveal a set of rainbow alcoholic appliances to make some drinks in his house. "This is actually something I wanted for a while, thanks Scourge" Shadow said as he takes the next present.
This next one was from Infinite, Shadow opened it to reveal some lavender skincare items and aromatic fragrances. "Wow, this is actually nice Fin, thanks a bunch" Shadow said as he picks up his next present. This was from Mighty, Shadow opened it to see a rainbow filter so Shadow can ride his motorcycle in the dark and see the gay light while he rides. "Ha, love this, gonna install these tonight, thanks Mighty" Shadow said as he takes the next present. Next one was from Vector, Shadow opened it up to see a rainbow bandana inside. "Wow, I needed one for quite some time now, but this is a great time to receive one, thanks Vec" Shadow said as he picks up another present.
This was from Rouge, Shadow opened it to reveal a picture of Sonic on a lavender-colored picture frame, the picture of them at the pool having fun. "Wow, don't know how you got this picture, but this is a great one, and the color of the frame is lavender, thank you Rouge" Shadow said as he picks up the next present. This next one was from Tangle, Shadow opened it up to see a gay flag blanket for their bedroom. "Now we can sleep gayly all year round, thanks Tangle" Shadow said as he picks up the final present. The last present was from Sage, Shadow opened it up to see a picture of Maria, Gerald, and Shadow in it inside a shiny gold-colored picture frame, making Shadow tear up a bit. "This picture is so beautiful and was restored to show color, thank you so much Sage" Shadow said as he wipes his tears and feels Sonic hugging him.
Aleena takes his presents and puts them in a bag as well, making sure all of them were inside and not likely to fall out. Sonic kissed his face as Shadow smiled a bit and stopped shedding tears. "No sad, this is a happy day for you and me, they would want you to be happy today" Sonic said as he then saw Shadow take out a present for Sonic, kissing his cheek in the process. "You're right, and I saved this last present just for you" Shadow said as he pushed the present over to Sonic. "Aww, I wonder what it is" Sonic said as he started to open his present to find a book inside, but when he opened it, it was a scrapbook about all the times they had together.
"Aww, Shadow this is so beautiful, what an amazing scrapbook, but what about the other pages? They are blank" Sonic said. "This is for you to give more memories in it as time moves forward, happy birthday my love" Shadow said as he takes his hand and takes it. "Actually, I got a present for you too" Sonic said as he takes out the small present and gives it to Shadow. "A present for me? I wonder what is inside" Shadow said as he slowly opened it and saw something that made him extremely shocked, taking it out, everyone saw a pregnancy test inside it, the test showing it was positive, making them shocked as well.
"What is this Sonic? Did you get the wrong gift for me?" Shadow asked, thinking it was a little mix-up. "Shadow, that is your birthday present, we are having a baby!" Sonic said as now everyone realized why his stomach was getting a bit bigger than it should be. Shadow cried happy tears as he hugged Sonic, happy that Sonic was going to have their baby. "How far along are you?!" Shadow asked as he sheds happy tears. "4 months and 3 weeks pregnant" Sonic said, shocking everyone, even his own family. "THAT IS ALMOST A WHOLE PREGNANCY! 5 MONTHS AND A BABY IS BORN! AND I AM GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!" Sonia said as she jumped up and down.
"THIS IS INSANE, I AM GONNA BE AN UNCLE?! AWESOME!!!" Manic said as he jumped up and down with his sister. Aleena was shedding happy tears as she realized that one of her babies was pregnant. "I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA, IS THIS REAL SONIC?!" Aleena asked. "It is real ma, your grandchild is in my belly and growing healthy inside of me" Sonic said as he smiled brightly. "Is that why you had those weird cravings at night with the peanut butter and pickles, chilidogs and sour cream, and even the chocolate with potato chips?" Shadow asked.
"Yes babe, the baby was giving me weird cravings, sure it tasted disgusting, but if the baby wanted it, then I have to respect the little one" Sonic said as Shadow hugged Sonic's belly. "Hi little sweetie, I know we were with each other for over 4 months, but now that I know about your existence, know that once you come into the world, I promise to be a good daddy to you, it doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, as long as I have the honor of raising you as my own flesh and blood, then I will be truly happy to do it, for you and Sonic to be happy" Shadow said as he kisses his belly, making Sonic giggle and everyone awe.
"Was it worth the wait to know about my body now?" Sonic asked. "Yes, now it truly makes sense to me, you were pregnant this whole time, this is the greatest gift I could ever receive, thank you Sonikku" Shadow said as he kept hugging his belly. "You are very welcome Shads, I only have a week left before the baby comes, and you can cuddle with him or her all you like" Sonic said with a smile. "A week? Then I will make sure your last week with this little one in your belly will be memorable, I promise to protect you and the little one until the day he or she is born, count on that" Shadow said as he felt Sonic's belly move a bit, the baby kicking him in the face. "The baby hopes you will be a great help to me" Sonic said with a giggle.
"Hey, don't kick daddy little sweetheart, I want to love you all I want, no kicking me or you get no cuddles from daddy" Shadow said with a chuckle as he kisses his belly. After that, Sonic kissed Shadow passionately on the lips, the couples, Sonic's family, and Shadow's cousin clapping and cheering for the birthday boys who would then become parents the next week. Sage looked at Shadow and went to him, tapping his shoulder. Shadow breaks the kiss and looks at Sage. "I am sorry to break up the little tender loving moment, but I must be leaving now, I told father a lie, about me trying to find some more information chips for Orbot and Cubot, he said they were urgently needed, and I told him it would take an hour or more to find them" Sage said, but herself lying to them so they don't grow suspicious.
"Alright, take care of yourself Sage, be careful, we love you so much, don't want anything to happen to our supporter" Shadow said as he rubbed her head. "Right, well, goodbye everyone" Sage said as she floated up. "Bye Sage, see you soon!" Sonic said. "BYE!" the others said as they waved at her. Sage smiled and disappeared in a red glitchy distorted hue of light, Sonic and Shadow then continuing their kiss, as the others smiled for the happy to-be-parents, hoping to be involved with the little baby's life.
~At Eggman's Secret Lair~
Sage quickly got back just the moment she appeared in front of her father, but her smile immediately changed into a sad frown, knowing she deceived her own cousin, Sonic, and the others. "DID YOU FIND ANY INFORMATION?!" Eggman yelled at Sage. "I-I did father. . ." Sage said. "THEN SPIT IT OUT, I MUST KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON, AND HOW I CAN TAKE THAT TO MY ADVANTAGE!!!" Eggman said as he hits his hand on the holographic glass keyboard as he typed out his plans on his big computer.
"S-Sonic is. . . going through major changes. . ." Sage said as Eggman kept typing. "WHAT CHANGES, I NEED THAT INFO!" Eggman said as he kept typing on the big computer. "H-He is. . . pregnant. . . it seems. . ." Sage said as Eggman stopped and looked directly at her, fixing his gloves a bit. "WHAT?! PREGNANT?! UNLESS. . . SONIC IS A HERMAPHRODITE THIS WHOLE TIME!? YES, YEEEESSSS, THIS IS BRILLIANT, HOW MANY MONTHS IS HE, TELL ME!" Eggman yelled at her. "A-Approximately 4 months and 3 weeks. . ." Sage said as she looked down and closed her eyes shut.
"THAT MEANS. . . ONE WEEK FROM NOW, SONIC WILL BE GIVING BIRTH!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RICH!!! I WILL KIDNAP HIM ONCE HE COMES OUT AT THE PERFECT MOMENT, AND TAKE HIM TO MY LAIR, THERE, ONCE HE IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH, I WILL THREATEN HIM TO GIVE ME HIS CHILD, AND FROM THEN ON, THE CHILD WILL BELONG TO ME, AND BE A FAIR ASSET TO MY CAUSE IN DEFEATING SONIC EVERY TIME!!! SONIC BEING KIND-HEARTED AS HE IS, WILL DO ANYTHING TO NOT HURT HIS CHILD!!! THIS PLAN WILL NOT FAIL!!! I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!" Eggman said with a loud and scary evil laugh as his plan was so cruel, that Sonic would have no chance of winning against him if that plan truly does come to fruition.
"B-But. . . Shadow is the. . . one who impregnated him. . .—" Sage got cut off by Eggman stopping his evil laugh. "EVEN BETTER!!! YOU KNOW HOW STRONG SHADOW IS?! THAT BABY WILL BE INVINCIBLE ONCE HE OR SHE GROWS UP, GIVING ME THE ABILITY TO WIN AGAINST SONIC AND SHADOW COMBINED!!! THIS IS THE BEST PLAN I EVER CAME UP WITH, THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME SAGE, WHAT A WONDERFUL DAUGHTER I HAVE, NOW, LET ME GET TO WORK ON THE EGG DRAGOON, I HAVE TO USE IT TO KIDNAP SONIC SOON!!!" Eggman said as he walked away and the doors automatically closed behind him.
Sage fell on her knees and shed so many tears, knowing she betrayed the only cousin she ever had, along with Sonic who trusted her, knowing once they find out, she will never be able to see them again, making her hug herself as she laments in her decision to help her father. "W-What have I done?. . . S-Shadow I am so sorry. . . along with you Sonic. . . I-I am the worst creation father created. . . I-I can't do anything. . . but watch you in defeat. . . and despair. . . this is all my fault that this is going to happen. . . forgive me. . . Sonic. . . forgive me. . . Shadow. . . forgive me. . . everyone. . . for betraying you all like this. . ." Sage said as her body glitched so much from her tears, her outfit and glitchy red parts turning into a white dress, white tights, white shoes, and blue eyes that shimmered beautifully, her glitching red turning into glitching bluish-teal, showing she was not going to comply with her father for much longer and yearning for the side of good, her body glitching so much that the colors from black and red to white and bluish-teal went non-stop for the rest of the day as Sage looked at her hands, admitting defeat then and there in sorrowful tears and pure perpetual agony.
