Mephiles only did what he could, whistling while looking away, acting like it didn't already happen. Silver looked back at Sonic and smiled. "Want us to walk you home? So you can have me to talk to still? I don't mind, we were going home anyways, so taking you home first will be fine by me" Silver said as he looked at Sonic. "Sure, I would like that. . . " Sonic said as he stopped crying fully as he looked at Silver and Mephiles. "Alright, babe, I swear if you complain about walking, you better become that slimy goop you call "dark matter" and slither, because I am not touching your goopy appearance, disgusting" Silver said as he walked with Sonic.
Sonic laughed a bit as he saw Mephiles' eyes change. "You serious Silvy?" Mephiles asked as he walked with the two. "I am dead serious Mephy, I am not doing it again, it felt like a giant wet slime just oozing down my shoulder, it felt gross" Silver said as he shuddered from remembering that very feeling he despised. Sonic laughed a bit more as he walked. "Fine, I won't let you carry me, happy?" Mephiles asked as he look at his boyfriend. "Thank you, that is much better for me now" Silver said with a giggle as he looked ahead to take Sonic home.
After a while of walking, they finally arrived at Shadow's house, Sonic opened the door and went inside. "So you live here now? Shadow's house?" Silver asked. "Yes, he asked me to move in so we can be together, but I will do what you said so I can help repair our relationship, thank you for taking me home, I appreciate it Silver, and you too Mephiles, good day to you both" Sonic said as he was about to close the door. "No problem now we can— MEPHY, WHAT THE HECK!" Silver yelled as he heard Mephiles slurping the last of Silver's smoothie.
Silver began to attack him as Mephiles turned into dark matter and started to try and escape his boyfriend's rage. "HOW DARE YOU TAKE THE LAST OF MY SMOOTHIE!!! YOU ARE SO GOING DOWN!!! BOYFRIEND OR NOT, YOU ARE RUDE!!! GET BACK HERE!!!" Silver yelled as he got out of Sonic's sight, Sonic laughed a bit before closing the door and sighing, calling Tails on his phone, the fox picking up not even a second later. "Hello?" Tails said. "Can you come to this address, I need company" Sonic said as he talked with his buddy.
~Later That Day~
Shadow had finished both of his and Rouge's work for the day, starting to get ready to go home before looking back at the very picture that showed when he was truly happy with Sonic. 'I am going to make this right, I promise Sonic, I will make up for my mistake, just so I can see you happy again, it wasn't fair for you, and now I see that' Shadow thought as he kissed the picture frame before turning off the light and leaving his office, preparing himself for how he will confront Sonic once he gets home and try his best to show he was wrong about earlier. 'I love you too much, to lose someone again' Shadow thought as he made his way out of the building.
