Aayana's pov -
We reached the office at 8:55 am. Then I look at Ira, she is still looking at me, the whole road she did the same. So I said,
"Now I am going, you go to your one and I am going to my destination. Now let's go !!! Or you wanna stay here."
"If you are here I can stay here for my whole entire life, my love," Iru replied.
"Then you have to go because I am leaving honey." Then I opened the car's door and went to her side to open her door. Before that, she gets outside and said,
"Don't be so good to me then I will be bad in bed baby."
"Just stop it, we are not at home honey," I replied to her and she smiled at me. Then we were led to the office door. Everyone is looking at me. I know what they are thinking about what I am doing with the owner of the company. But Ira is as usual asking everyone about their health and others. I love her more when I see her. She is really sweet. Then we were led to the lift.
Then Ira asked, "You are on the third floor, right ?"
"Yeah," I replied to her. Then she pressed buttons 3 and 6 as she is on the sixth floor. When the door close suddenly she pulls me to her and hug me then said,
"I love you. I don't know why but my heart is not allowing me to leave you on the 3rd floor. Can't you accept my proposal then we will be able to work from the same place?"
We are still hugging and I said to her, "I also want to work with you but the fact is if you do this everyone will question us and we both can't afford that baby. So let's do work from our own place." Then she released me and all of a sudden the door opened. Then I took my step out of the lift, then we said bye to each other and the lift's door closed. I take a sigh and lead my way to my workplace.
Ira's pov -
After our confession of love, this is the first time we are away from each other. I am really not feeling good. Don't know why my heart is saying something bad can happen. But what is that !!! In my mind, I reach to my floor. That time my schedule manager is in front of me and said,
"Hello, Ira."
"Hello, Dina. Is there any other meeting without a weekend report meeting ?" I asked.
"No, Ira. There isn't but when the report meeting will be held? I need to inform every department." Dina replied to me.
"Do one thing, let's set the meeting after lunch. Let every department prepare a report on them. Is that fine ?" I asked.
"Yeah, that will be great. And yeah please check your mail. There might be mail from the USA. One company wants to take their staff dress design from us. If we get that we will get a huge profit. And your textile mill dreams can start." Dina replied.
"Wow. That's great. Thanks for the information. I am checking now. Bye, for now, you inform all. Thanks once again." Then I take my step to the room and Dina said,
"Bye. By the way, you are glowing today and looking so hot. What is the secret ?!!"
"Nothing. It's just make-up, Dina. Now stop teasing me and go to work." Then we both smiled and left.
I enter my cabin. Then I take my laptop to check every detail. Then I reply to that mail and reply from there instantly. They want a Zoom meeting if I am available. I confirm and we start meeting. Thankfully I cracked the deal. And we got the deal of dress delivery also. I am so happy.
It's really great we started our business in the USA for the first time. Then I look at the clock and it's already 10:45 am. When time passed so much I didn't notice. I am so happy. So, I decided to share this good news with my love. I took the land phone and informed Dina about the deal, and also informed her to collect all of their requirements.
She is also so happy. I will announce this news at a report meeting for every department. All will be happy. It's already 11 am. So, I left for Aayu.
I am so happy. It's been almost 2 hours since I am away from my love. When I reach the 3rd floor. I asked at the reception area about Aayana.
Me: Hello, How are you? Can you please tell me where is Aayana? (She was just shocked when she saw me)
Receptionist: Ma- mam !! You are here !!!
Me: Just relax. It's Ira. Don't need to be so formal with me. What about you?
Receptionist: Yeah ma'am. I know you. You don't need to introduce yourself to me. I am Sadia. Nice to meet you.
Me: Nice to meet you too and nice name. Now please tell me where Aayana is, please.
Sadia: Finally she got your attention. I am happy for her.
Me: What does that mean?
Sadia: She has been here for 2 years. Before that, she did an internship here. After that she took training. I mean it's been almost 2 and a half years since she is here but still, she is a Junior Accountant. If she gives this time to another company, I can guarantee she was at least a senior accountant till now. And her talent could make her more than that.
(Her lines ached my heart. She is here only for me. She sacrifices her most career-building time for me. I am feeling so guilty right now.)
Me: Then she didn't get any promotion till now, why?
Sadia: Our account manager is a bad person. Sorry mam but he is really a bad person. He behaves very rudely with everyone. That's why no one stays here for more than 6 months as a junior accountant. He and his brother-in-law rule everywhere. His brother-in-law is a senior accountant though he hadn't any experience. Aayana deserved this position but the Account manager bribed the HR department's head and grabbed the position for his brother-in-law. He always used to bully Aayana. He gives her too much work which is not her work. I really feel bad for her ma'am.
(I am feeling very bad for my love. She suffered a lot for me. Now I have to concentrate on every department, which means our company is facing corruption.)
Me: Thanks for your information. Now please tell me where is Aayana.
Sadia: On that desk (she indicated to me but there was no one.)
Me: Where is she?
Sadia: The account manager called her to his cabin.
Me: Thanks. Let's talk later.
Sadia: Okay mam. Bye.
Me: Bye.
What the hell? Now I know that Aayana mentioned to me that her account manager will do something if she skips today. Why didn't she tell me everything? I am waiting for her at her desk but she is not coming. So, I led my way to the account manager's room as the whole area is glass.
That's why I saw Aayana standing in front of his table. Why didn't he permit her to sit !!! I was getting close to that room and I saw that the manager threw a file at Aayu's face. My blood starts boiling so I start running towards that room and everyone stands up when they notice me. When I opened the door, the manager got up and pushed Aayu so that she almost bumped against the door's edge.
I hold her and my back bumped into the edge of the door which gave me pain but I didn't give attention to that and I ask to Aayu,
"Are you okay ?" Then I turned her to me and I saw her cheek was bleeding. It's maybe for that file that he threw at her face. I didn't think twice, I just punched him in the face...
How dare he !!! For him, my Aayu suffered a lot. I am not going to spare him. He has to pay for his deed...
I won't let go of my love's sacrifices.
