Tiredness finally leaving her, Cora blinked with wide eyes, bounding over to the unknown stranger, "Kieran!"
"Hey, Cor," Picking up the young beta with a smile, Cora wrapped her arms around him, hugging Kieran tightly.
Trying not to laugh at Maeve's utter confusion, Peter nudged Derek's shoulder, the teen turning to explain, "Maeve, this is my older brother Kieran."
Maeve's eyes widened, looking between Derek and Kieran, their features almost identical, "Older brother? You've never-"
"I've been gone for years, probably forgot about his big brother, huh, Derek?" Kieran teased playfully punching Derek's shoulder, his younger brother rolling his eyes.
Kieran Hale was what was typically known as the black sheep in the family. Being born only a month apart from Peter, the two Hales were raised like brothers, and when the teen years came around, they caused chaos like brothers too. Despite being human his whole life, Kieran was yet another intimidating looking Hale, maybe it was being the eldest brother, or maybe it was his attitude that clearly screamed I do not give a damn.
At Cora's demand, the two brothers went into the living room, the nine year old insisting to show Kieran all the drawings he'd missed over the years.
Trailing behind them, Maeve was still confused, "He went down a dark path when everything was revealed about his dad, Kieran was out of here before Dean took his first steps."
"They've never met?" Maeve frowned, glancing over at Peter.
"Derek wasn't the only one who didn't accept another sibling," the friends stopped in the doorway, watching Cora excitedly wave the papers in her brothers faces, "Unlike Cora, who thought Dean was her twin for half her life."
—
Standing in front of the pantry, Maeve stared forward with a sigh at the young boy sat with a bag of crisps, "Dean, why are you hiding in here?"
"This isn't my family," Dean looked up to his brothers girlfriend with a frown, listening to the chatter of the extended Hale family outside.
With Kieran's arrival brought on another string of guests, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, the whole party. With his dad's location unknown, Talia had yet again taken in her children's brother, glad to see her kids get along with him, even if he wasn't her child.
Leaning against the door, Maeve smiled sympathetically, "It is."
"Not really," Dean shrugged, his floppy black hair falling as he stared at the wooden floor.
"Even if they aren't related to you," Maeve began, "They're your pack. Your pack is your family too. They aren't my family either, but they're my pack."
Holding her hand out, Maeve nodded back over into the kitchen, "Come on, before I get Peter to drag you out."
Dean groaned, letting Maeve pull him up from the floor, scowling as she pushed him into the kitchen "Off you go!"
Dean suddenly stood still causing Maeve to look at him in confusion, turning around at the voice, finding Kieran grabbing a beer from the fridge, "So, you're a new face."
"I could say the same for you," Maeve smiled, protectively putting her hand on Deans shoulder, feeling him relax, "Maeve."
Kieran smiled back, popping off the lid of his beer on the counter, "Kieran."
Staring at Dean, Kieran finally realised who it was, more tension adding to the air. Like Derek, Kieran didn't think Dean was the problem, their dad was, and well, all the reasons Dean existed, and growing older, Dean began to realise that.
"Want me to come out with you to find Cora?" Maeve asked the nine year old, Dean nodded, following Maeve to the backdoor whilst she turned back to Kieran "Why don't you come with us, Kieran?"
Derek kissed Maeve as he ran past, a herd of young werewolves, his cousins, chasing after him, Maeve laughed shaking her head, watching him leap onto the trampoline to get away from them, Dean running over to join in.
Slouching down beside Maeve on the swinging porch chair, Kieran stared at his brother in surprise "So that's Dean."
"I'm guessing you had something to do with that?" Kieran chuckled as he watched Derek play fight with Cora and Dean, throwing his brother down on the trampoline, Dean almost bouncing off it.
Maeve smiled proudly of the sight in front of her, "How'd you know?"
"My brothers a hard ass, only listens to himself half the time," Kieran replied knowingly.
Maeve shook her head with a slight smile, sipping on her coffee, "Dean's been spending more time here, your dads getting reckless."
"I wouldn't expect anything less from the old man," Kieran grumbled, raising his beer over at his mother as she passed, Talia rolled her eyes, waving him off.
Maeve raised a brow curiously, "Is he the reason you left? Seth?"
Kieran nodded, taking a sip of his beer "We have a love hate relationship."
Watching Peter who had joined in with entertaining the cousins moments ago run away from the two children and a few of their cousins, Maeve laughed "Familiar with that one."
Peter rolled his eyes, leaning against the wooden railings, "I know you really love me, Diana."
"In your dreams," Maeve smiled sarcastically, trying to smack Peters arm away as he grabbed her, growling at him in annoyance as she put her coffee down "No!"
Feeling herself being lifted into the air, Maeve sighed in defeat, looking up to wave goodbye to Kieran.
"I bring a sacrifice, my life for hers!" Peter shouted throwing Maeve down on the trampoline, Maeve sat up with a glare.
At the stares of the kids, Maeve knew she had been thrown in the middle of their pretend war, looking up to Derek for help, but her fiancé simply laughed, helping her up as they tried bounce away from the kids, but ultimately, in typical Maeve fashion, the blonde tumbled straight off the trampoline.
—
Meeting her mom at the doors of the sheriffs station, Elizabeth raised a brow over at Stiles trailing after her, "Who's your friend?"
"Stiles, this is my mom Elizabeth," Maeve introduced the beanie clad boy to her mother, leaning back on her desk as she continued to file some documents.
Stiles stopped rummaging through his bag, a batman action figure clattering onto Maeve's desk, "Hi Elizabeth!"
"Go get your jacket," Maeve smiled at the nine year old, placing the file back into the cabinet as he ran through the station.
Elizabeth hummed in disapproval, "I thought you were interning to be a lawyer not a babysitter."
Maeve playfully glared at her mother, reaching over to grab her phone as it rang, wondering back to the back cabinets as she spoke "What you mean you lost Jamie? Okay! Fine, I'm on my way. Yeah, I get it, Derek, our friend is a dumbass. Bye!""
Putting the clipboard on the shelf, Maeve turned to Elizabeth apologetically, "Is there any chance you can drive Stiles home?"
Elizabeth let out a sigh, nodding as Stiles came bounding over, tugging his jacket on not so gracefully, "Bye Maevey!"
"Do your homework," Maeve reminded him, waving goodbye as her mom and him walked towards the station doors.
"You're not doing the homework, are you?" Elizabeth raised a brow down at him, watching Stiles pull the paper from his backpack.
Stiles tossed the paper into the bin, grinning, "No way."
Pulling up outside the Stilinski house, glancing down to a sleeping Stiles the passenger seat, his mouth hanging open as he practically hung off the seat "Wake up, kid."
Elizabeth hated awkwardness, thankfully Stiles was fast asleep and didn't notice, or know that he was sat in a car with his dads ex wife.
Stiles slowly blinked awake, looking to Elizabeth in confusion as she opened her door, "I'll walk you in."
Elizabeth was not the friendliest of people at times, but Stiles was a child and she wasn't going to let her attitude get in the way of making sure he got home safely.
"Why, the doors right there?" Stiles questioned, climbing out of the car himself.
"Werewolves," Elizabeth told him seriously, letting him go first as they reached the door.
Stiles almost dropped the house key he grabbed from the plant pot in excitement, "Really?"
"No." Elizabeth shrugged, unzipping her pink coat once they were inside, raising a brow at Stiles' frown "Whats wrong?"
Stiles nodded over to the dining room, noticing Noah sat at the table through the gap in the door, "Dads drinking again."
A familiar anger flashed through the hunter, nudging Stiles' shoulder gently "Go to bed."
Stiles hesitantly ran upstairs, rushing straight to his computer instead of his bed. Elizabeth took a deep breath as she pushed open the door to the dining room.
Standing in the doorway with her arms crossed and scowl on her face, Elizabeth cleared her throat, Noah weakly looked up, his eyes widening at the sight of her, "Liz?"
"You had this under control, Noah," Elizabeth didn't bother greeting him, snatching the bottle from Noah's hands.
Noah sighed, leaning back in his chair, "Yeah, well, now I don't."
"You're better than this, your son is upstairs - he needs you," Elizabeth reminded him, scoffing as Noah took a sip from his glass, taking that from him too, slamming it down on the table, "Because if you're not careful you're just going to turn into your father!"
"My wife's dying, Liz! I'm trying to raise Stiles on my own, but god, it's so...so hard," Noah ran his hands across his face, Elizabeth looked down, taking a deep breath "Claudia was so good with him."
Thinking back to the grief of her now not so dead mother, Elizabeth leant against the table, staring at Noah sympathetically, "You're not a bad parent, he just misses his mom."
"We've been loosing her for years, but now, there's nothing we can do to stop it," Noah mumbled, "You left me, Claudia's dying and Stiles, is, well Stiles- What else do I have left?"
"I know you're scared, Noah, but don't. Don't you dare start that-" Elizabeth went to shout, but quietened down remembering Stiles was upstairs, biting her lip as she pointed over to the stairs "Go to bed, Noah, you're drunk. Maybe in the morning you should tell your son what's happening, then, he might just stop acting out."
"Yeah, yeah, you're right-" Noah stuttered out, wobbling on his legs as he stood from the chair, Elizabeth watched him sadly, her wishes that she would never had to see him in this state again not coming true.
"Lying won't get you anywhere, especially with kids," Elizabeth called after him, wondering whether she was talking to herself or Noah.
"Maeve," Noah turned back to Elizabeth with a small smile, stopping on the bottom step, "She's a good kid. You did a good job."
Elizabeth watched Noah walk up the stairs, his grip tight on the handrail. Once he was out of sight, Elizabeth pushed off the table, making her way into the kitchen. Pouring the bourbon down the sink, Elizabeth looked around the small kitchen, staring sadly at the family photo on the fridge, knowing it would soon be ruined just like the photo in it before.
Stepping back into her apartment, Elizabeth couldn't say she was surprised to find Chris sat on the couch, looking up to his sister questioningly, "Where were you?"
Elizabeth scoffed, tossing her car keys back onto the kitchen island, "I'm not a child, you don't need to know all my whereabouts."
Chris stood up from the couch, knowing his sister and her defensiveness, it only meant one thing with her, "You think running back to the guy that broke your heart is going to make any of this better?"
"I'm not running back to anybody," Elizabeth argued, storming into the kitchen, ironically, pouring herself a glass of wine.
Elizabeth downed the glass, biting her lip as Chris reminded her, "He was your husband, Lizzie."
"Ex husband!" Elizabeth whirled around, slamming the glass on the counter, "Ex! For a reason, Chris! He was an alcoholic, and I was a hunter, it wouldn't of worked."
"Stop lying to yourself, Lizzie," Chris joined her behind the island, rolling his eyes at the now broken wine glass.
Being a twin raised In a family like the Argents, Chris and Liz always had each others backs, they knew each other better than anyone else.
"I wouldn't have Maeve if we didn't split," Elizabeth pointed out with a shrug, making light out of the situation.
Chris stared at her knowingly, Elizabeth blinked, adding in, "He wouldn't have his son, alright?"
Watching Chris go to speak, Elizabeth raised her hand, shaking her head "I've had enough of this conversation."
Chris raised a brow at her, knowing exactly the topic she was avoiding, Elizabeth groaned "Oh go away, Christopher!"
"Lizzie," Chris started at his sister sympathetically, placing his hand on her shoulder, turning her around to face him.
Wrapping her arms around her younger twin, Elizabeth cried into his chest, Chris sighed running his hand through her hair "Pretend you hate me all you want, but I know you, Elizabeth."
Seeing Noah in the same state as he was when he broke her heart years ago hurt, and it hurt even more now knowing that even if she wanted, it wasn't her place to help him. She wasn't his wife anymore.
Elizabeth sniffled, "I don't hate you, even if you're annoying."
With Jamie successfully rescued from lifelong social embarrassment, Maeve and Derek made their way into Elizabeth's apartment, it being closer than Derek's house.
Shutting the front door, Maeve turned in confusion as Derek stumbled back against her, dodging a cushion thrown in their direction.
Looking to each other in confusion, the couple flinched as another pillow got thrown in their direction, Derek finally noticing Elizabeth stomping around the living room, "Is she alright?"
When it came to emotional outbursts, Elizabeth flickered between the emotions, but it almost always ended up with anger.
"She'll be fine, she's having a tantrum," Maeve shook her head with a small laugh, kicking off her boots, the both of them dropping their bags to the floor.
Wrapping her cardigan tighter as she paddled across the cold wood floors, Maeve called over to her mom, Derek hesitantly following, "Mom?"
Elizabeth kicked the sofa, grumbling to herself, "Men!"
Derek froze at the voice behind him, the two teenagers whirled around to find Chris cleaning up Elizabeth's mess in the kitchen, "She's fine."
"Hey, uncle Chris," Maeve smiled, walking over to hug the hunter, Derek standing nervously in the doorway.
Derek and Chris had met many times before, but Derek didn't find himself becoming calmer in his presence anytime soon. Though, nothing could be more nerve racking than asking a hunter to marry his niece, Derek was that nervous that he nearly ditched the idea completely. But Maeve doesn't need to know that...
"I've missed you at home, kid," Chris told her with a smile, but yet, still managed to glare over at Derek.
Chris didn't hate Derek, he liked Derek, but before anything Chris was protective of Maeve, the teens could've been married for twenty years for all Chris cared and he'd still glare Derek down.
Derek awkwardly looked away, calming down as Maeve stepped back from her uncle, wrapping her hand around his, "I've missed you too."
"You better be treating her right," Chris crossed his arms over his chest, staring at the couple suspiciously, unknown to Maeve that he knew about the recent development in their relationship.
Derek smiled down at Maeve as she lay her head on his shoulder, "Always."
"Good. I don't need to threaten you to know what will happen if you don't," Chris warned, protectively watching the both of them as he walked into the living room, going to attempt to contain his sister "Oh, stop it, Elizabeth!"
Hearing another smash, Maeve closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, "Mother!"
Derek and Maeve wondered through the elementary school playground, parents, siblings and students where at every corner, but it was easy to find Cora, the only girl dangling from the top of the monkey bars.
Derek sighed, knowing he would have to wrangle his sister out to the car. Maeve on the other hand, was distracted by the boy who had suddenly became the annoying little brother she never wanted.
Stiles bounded across the playground, with heavy and uneasy breaths, his best friend chased after him, action figures in hand and Maeve didn't need superhearing to know Stiles was defending Batmans honour to his best friend.
Spinning on his battered converse, Stiles barley noticed as he ran past a young girl, sending her tumbling to the ground, "Stiles!"
Stiles groaned hearing Maeve's voice, hesitantly stepping backwards at her voice, "Come back."
Turning Stiles to face the girl he'd pushed over, Maeve pointed down at her sternly, "Apologise."
Stiles pouted, glancing down at the girl as she sat on the concrete, glaring up at him "Sorry..."
Maeve rolled her eyes at his attempt, nudging him back to an impatient Scott, "Okay, go."
"Bye Maeve!" Stiles shouted back, sprinting back over to Scott, carefully avoiding not knocking any one else over.
Maeve crouched down in front of the fellow blonde, smiling gently "Are you okay? I'm Maeve."
Maeve blinked in surprise as the girl looked up to her, she had never met the girl in her life, but god, she looked so familiar.
The girl nodded, but the cut on her knee didn't go unnoticed by Maeve "Malia."
Holding out her hand, Maeve helped the nine year old up, picking up Malia's backpack for her, "Well, Malia, should we find your parents?"
Helping Malia find her parents, Maeve glanced across the playground, laughing at Derek stood at the bottom of the monkey bars with his arms crossed, shouting up at Cora as she tried to push Dean off, the younger sibling attempting to use the bars as they should.
"Cora, leave your brother alone!" Derek had enough, grabbing Cora's legs, yanking her off the bars, ignoring her annoyed screech.
"But-" Cora protested, stomping her foot, turning around with a huff as Derek lifted his awkwardly tall younger brother off too.
Derek's glare shut Cora up, picking up their backpacks from the ground, leading them across the playground with an unamused expression, "Come on, the both of you."
With the Hale relatives now returning to their daily lives, Maeve was expecting Talia to return to whatever she did, but finding her at a crime scene was not what she expected. Dropping the witness interview notes in surprise, Maeve rushed out of the sheriffs cruiser, following the alpha as she walked towards the scene.
"Talia?" Maeve called after her alpha, frowning as Talia took one look at the scene before returning to her car.
The crash just off the highway had brought in crowds and crowds of onlookers, but after the reveal of the bodies, the road was now filled with news reporters. Standing beside the sheriff, Maeve handed another roll of crime scene tape to one of the deputies, staring at the bodies with a sigh.
Noah turned noticing Maeve at his side, glancing at the covered bodies on the floor, "They only found two bodies. The eldest daughter, Malia Tate, is missing."
"Malia," Maeve whispered in surprise, her mind whizzing with memories of a few days ago helping the young girl, her eyes widening as the name from the paperwork she filed not to long ago became familiar.
Hearing screams from the onlookers, Noah rushed into action whilst Maeve, still frozen in shock, gazed over to see what the fuss was about "Coyote!"
Her feet moving before she could even think, Maeve tried approach the coyote, the scent too familiar that it was impossible she wasn't Malia, but Noah had pulled her back behind the police tape "Stay back!"
Watching the coyote scamper off back through the trees before action had to be taken, the crowds relaxed, but Maeve was filled with anger at the sudden revelation.
Maeve stormed across the scene, quickly climbing into Talia's car as she slammed the door, looking to Talia questioningly "She's Peters isn't she? Malia?"
Talia's eyes flickered in surprise, wondering how Maeve figured it out, but hesitantly nodded her head, "Does he know?"
"No." Talia finally spoke, a guilty expression on her face that Maeve had never seen before.
Maeve sat up in her seat, clenching her fists as another wave of anger hit her, "You knew he had a daughter and you never told him?"
Peter may be an arse and dedicated his days to driving Maeve and Derek up the wall, but Maeve still care for him, just as she would Jamie and Archie. To know he had a child that was hidden from him, that was where it crossed the line for Maeve.
"I know my brother, It would've ruined him," Talia justified, avoiding Maeve's furious stare.
"I know my best friend, and that's his child, Talia," Maeve argued, glaring at Talia in disbelief.
"He can't know," Talia stated, her words coming out more as a demand, "He won't find out, will he, Maeve?"
"You can't ask me to keep that secret!" Maeve exclaimed, her eyes glowing in anger.
When it came to secrets Maeve was an expert, but when the situation was against her beliefs, that's where she had a problem. Maybe the situation hit too close for home, her own mother still being secretive of the identity of her father.
"I'm not asking," Talia corrected, attempting to not look phased by Maeve's outburst, "He's better off this way."
"And Malia?" Maeve raised a brow up at the alpha.
"She's as good as dead out there," Talia's words caused Maeve to scoff, slamming her fists against the dashboard, exiting the car with another slam to the door.
Maeve had always respected Talia, as an alpha, as Derek's mother, but today showed another side of her that Maeve wasn't sure she liked.
After many days of procrastinating the conversation with Peter, Maeve finally bit the bullet and dragged him out of the woods. Telling him about Malia was an easy decision, but actually saying the words wasn't.
"And she just turned into a coyote?"
Maeve nodded, holding onto Peters arm as she tried not to trip over a large branch, "Supposedly."
"Talk about running for the hills," Peter joked, gazing around the forest in boredom.
Maeve rolled her eyes, motioning for him to be quiet as he noticed movement in the trees ahead "Shut up."
Sitting down on the grass, Peter raised a brow at Maeve, noticing her fiddling with a piece of paper as she sat down beside him, "Why do you have that guilty look on your face?"
"Theres something you should know," Maeve sighed, glancing over at Peter as she unfolded the paper, keeping an eye out over on Malia.
Peter groaned, lying back on the grass, "Don't tell me Derek knocked you up already."
Maeve yet again rolled her eyes, kicking his leg as she passed him the paper, "No. But you weren't far off."
Peter stared at the photo of the young girl in confusion, looking back to Maeve for answers, "Malia Elizabeth Tate, born Malia Elizabeth Hale."
Peter froze, his eyes widening, "Talia has another kid?"
"I know you only have one brain cell, but come on," Maeve looked to Peter like it was obvious, motioning to the photo "Look again."
After meeting Malia the first time, Maeve and Derek bickered the whole way home about how much she looked like Peter, hell, she even looked like Laura. But of course, Derek just thought of the situation as Maeve getting a little too carried away with helping on cases.
Looking down at the girl that looked just like him, Peter frowned as realisation flashed in his eyes, turning back to Maeve "She's mine?"
Maeve nodded slowly, unsure about how he'd take it, handing him the birth certificate she found the other day "Recognise the name of her mom?"
"I was so young, I barley remember her mother, but god, she was a raging bitch," Peter instantly scoffed at the name on the paper, "I'm glad she gave her up. We would've messed the poor kid up for life."
Maeve stared at him sympathetically,"You don't know that."
"I was seventeen, ten times the idiot I am now," Peter pointed out, gazing over to the coyote in the grass "Though, at least I can say her becoming a coyote wasn't my fault."
"You do everything for your kid, even when you least expect it," Maeve encouraged his strangely good mood, "I'm sure you'd be a good father."
For once Maeve saw Peter look at something and not want to torment it. He looked like he cared. And at the mere mention of being a father, Peter looked like he wanted it. That alone, was a shock.
"If it's not too much to ask, if things ever became all and well, Malia returned to herself, and I could be a father to her," Peter looked to Maeve, looking almost hopeful, "Would you be her godmother?"
Maeve blinked in surprise, "Me? Are you sure?"
Sure, Peter had his friends, but everyone knew he was a family guy, but when Maeve came along he actually accepted a genuine friendship since his childhood.
"You're my best friend, if the time comes to be able to have my daughter in my life there's no one else I would trust more with her life than you," Peter told her, looking back over to Malia.
Even if he didn't show it sometimes, Maeve knew Peter cared, and knowing she was one of the reasons that he did care made her very happy.
Maeve grinned, "It would be an honour."
"Now, how do you turn a coyote back to a human?" Peter questioned, his words sounding more like a joke than intended.
Maeve laughed, barley noticing Talia walk up behind them, whirling around as Peter cried out in pain "Peter!"
Staring up at her alpha with wide eyes, Maeve noticed Talia's claws dug into the back of Peter's neck, his eyes rolling back made Maeve know that this couldn't be good.
"What did you do?" Maeve gasped as Peter fell back unconscious, his sister removing her claws from his neck,"What did you do!"
Talia stared down at the photo in Peters hand with a sigh, "I removed his memories."
"Talia..." Maeve started disapprovingly, glancing down to check Peter was alright, "He wanted to be a father, and you took that from him!"
"He doesn't know what he wants," Talia argued, pulling Peters body up from the grass, dragging him over through the preserve.
Maeve followed after her, only growing more angry, "He's twenty six, you baby him more than Derek!"
"I know Derek has his priorities in order. You have no idea what it was like pulling Peter out of the mess he made for himself," Talia replied sternly, opening the car door to place Peter inside, "Any of the men in this family for that matter."
It had yet to be known to Maeve about a trait that had fallen on the men in the Hale family, a long line of werewolves that had screwed up their own lives, leaving it for their packs to pick up the pieces. Talia truly didn't expect it to extend to her husband, but his betrayal hurt above all.
Maeve frowned, wondering what Talia exactly meant by that, "What happens when Derek and I have kids, how am I to trust that you won't just take it all away?"
Talia sighed, pausing as she reached her side of the car, opening the door, "I trust you."
Senior prom was something Derek tried to avoid, but failed miserably. Maeve and Laura danced together, chatting between laughter as they commented on the people around them.
Jogging over in her heels to get a drink, Maeve kissed Derek's cheek as she passed him, reaching their table. After reluctantly spending the first half of the dance actually dancing, Maeve eventually gave up on keeping Derek away from sitting and scowling, allowing him a break.
Turning back to Derek, Maeve was about to ask him to dance, but fell silent finding him down on one knee, their friends failing to hide their excitement as they stood behind him "Derek? Derek what are you doing?"
"I know you've already said yes, but i wanted to do it properly," Derek informed her, smiling slightly at Maeve's sudden gasp as he pulled the small blue box from his blazer.
"Derek," Maeve's hand went to her mouth, attempting to hide her grin, laughing in embarrassment as their year began to notice them "Derek, people are staring!"
"Good, let them," Derek replied, opening the box. Maeve's eyes widened at the ring sparkling before her, not expecting Derek to of found her dream ring without even knowing.
The attention of their classmates quickly fell on them, while some were not surprised about the couple who had been inseparable the entire year, others like a glaring Milo, were clearly shocked by the proposal.
Derek held the ring up, looking up to Maeve with a smile that still sent her weak at the knees, "Diana Maeve Argent, will you marry me?"
"Yes!" Cheers erupted in the room, Maeve smiled widely, her eyes full of excitement as Dereks stood up, sliding the ring onto her finger.
The previous embarrassment had vanished completely, Maeve had no shame in wrapping her arms around Derek's shoulders, kissing him in front of the whole school year. Jamie was ecstatic for his friends, Archie had known all along, Derek telling him everything, whilst Laura. was still grappling with the thought of her younger brother marrying before her, she couldn't help but be excited.
Laura came bounding over as the couple eventually pulled apart, wrapping the blonde into a hug "Welcome to the family!"
