THE sunlight is illuminating the room. My eyes slowly get opened as I keep my hand as a shield trying to look. I yawned before extending my body as I take my mobile from the nightstand checking the time. 7:00 AM.
I get down from bed before went to brush my teeth. After a warm shower, I get ready for university. I'm university final-year student. I walked to the leaving room as I smell something delicious as always.
"I'm hungry mom." I said before sitting on the dining chair as my mom chuckled coming to the dining and started to serve the food.
"I'll bring water. Wait for me" I immediately put down the chopsticks nodding. Soon I hear a ding making me look at my mobile. The screen blinked "husband." The name popped.
"Good morning wife." I sigh then send a quick good morning before keeping the mobile aside. Suddenly the memories from a few months back started to linger in my mind. After my Dad's death, I begged my in-laws to send me to my mom at least till I finish my studies. I have one year time to be with my mom.
"Let's dig in." I smiled as my mom started to eat. I looked at her eating healthy for the first time after my father's death. Thanks to my husband who helped me in agreeing on in-laws.
Soon I reached my university. I get inside the class as everyone also takes their seats doing their stuff. I take my iPad out and read some previous classes. I hear the door opening and looked up.
"This is your new professor Kim Taehyung." The director looked at him. "Take care of our students Mr.Kim." Our director of university smiled at each other and he walked out, leaving professor Kim in class with us.
"He's soo handsome." "Good, he is my type." "Is he single!?"
"Please, be quiet. I want to introduce myself. I'm Kim Taehyung your new professor." He smiled at us looking around as his eyes fall on me.
"Professor Kim are you single or taken!?" One girl asked making him chuckle.
"Yes, she is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." He said showing his ring finger and the gold ring reflected by the sunlight making me look down at my ring finger.
It's been months since I removed my wedding ring & it's sitting inside the drawer in my room now. Why!? Coz, I still need some time to know if is this love are just a physical attraction.
Some disappointed sighs come from every corner. I lick my lips opening notes. I hear Professor Kim Taehyung started telling about important topics he's going to teach this week.
The class is finally over and I went to my locker keeping the books inside. But, my ears perk hearing some voices of girls from my class.
"God!! He's damn sexy. I wonder who that lucky girl is his wife. If I'd known about him before he would be mine by now."
"Seriously, one word to my Dad. I can get professor Kim with money in a snap." I can see a blonde girl from the corner of my eye. She smirked at the other.
"Well, cheating is common these days." They both laughed before going away.

"Y/N!!" I flinched looking up. Only to see my mom. I looked down at my food and then looked away. "I've been calling you for like decades."
"I'm full." Keeping the chopsticks on the table I walked back to my room not caring about the screams of my mom. I check my mobile and there are some messages.
"Have you had dinner!? I hope so. Ok, good night."
I quickly send a good night to my husband and then lay on the bed thinking about today. He looked handsome.
The next day.
Saying goodbye to my mom I walked to the university. Today the weather is gloomy and I feel a bit cheerful. I made my way into the classroom and the whole class are also peaceful. Nothing great happen until the evening class is filled with so many students.
Ok, I hate humans.
Professor Kim Taehyung walked inside with a smile as he started his lesson. After the class ended, he asked us to sit still.
"Guys, I need an assistant for me. If you guys are interested you can help me. Nothing to worry it's just normal work like you guys did as class president in high school days but less work and working for me." Professor Kim Taehyung said looking around trying to find someone who is willing to assist him.
I also looked around and see that blonde girl about to rise her hand but I immediately stood up. "I_" Shit!!
Professor Kim looked at me with a box grin. "I will be glad if you stay by my side Ms.Song Y/N."
Our eyes met as I gulp trying to come to my senses. Well if people think cheating is common. I would like to prove them wrong.
Cheating is not a mistake it's a choice.
I looked back at Professor Kim Taehyung as he is already looking at me. Why my heart is beating fast!? It's not the first time it happen but still. I hate the effort he had on me.
Everyone started leaving the class and we both stand still in our places. Once the class is empty professor Kim gestured for me to follow him. I throw my bag on my shoulders before tailing behind him.
Soon we both reached his office room. He hold the door open for me as I stepped inside then he locked the door behind us. I played with my fingers looking down.
He walked right beside me. Our shoulders slightly brushed with each other and I shivered at the spicy scent of his Cologne. His veiny hands hold the bottom of the window curtains closing them while taking steps forward to his leather chair.
He unbuttoned his suit and removed it hanging it to the back of the chair. He slumped into the black leather chair leaning back. He rest his right leg on his left knee and then rolled up his sleeves. His hands rubbed his thick thighs as he talked.
"You can sit here Y/N." I blinked twice before processing his words.
"Huh!! Yeah, I'm sorry." I sit in front of him as he leaned forward on the table. "I'd like to be professional professor Kim Taehyung." I breathed out.
His eyebrows slightly pulled together but his face relaxed for a brief moment. He leaned back again.
"Oh!! That's good. Then let's be professional Ms.Y/N." His voice comes out with a mixture of sadness.
Did I hurt his feelings!?
"What can I help you with!?" I said removing my bag from my shoulders as he spin his chair to his right a bit.
"I would like you to sit here coz you & I both need to take notes. Together." He jerked his chin up to the empty seat beside him.
There is nothing much. I helped him with how far we got with our current syllabus and the syllabus that needed to be taught to us. He wrote down some points and told me other important sheets to print down for the next class.
Finally, it's over. I checked the time & it was past 7 PM. I keep my iPad inside and zipped my back. I looked up at professor Kim.
"I think we should go now, professor Kim." I said blinking my eyes. Thinking about the delicious food made by mom.
Eoreushin Kim looked at my body except for my eyes. His eyes wander all over me as he extended his hand softly tugging my side bangs behind my ear. His thumb massaged under my ear. And I feel my face get heated. My soft & weak spots.
"I_I think I should go home. Bye." I immediately take my bag and walked out of the room with my raised heartbeat.
I stopped in my tracks only to meet with rain. I slowly extended my hand feeling the raindrops falling on my palm.
"It's raining. Did you bring an umbrella!?" I flinched looking at my side only to find professor Kim Taehyung. His hand holding an umbrella.
I chuckled nervously. "It's ok. I should go now." I immediately take steps for a run but my leg twisted on the stairs. Oh no!!
I closed my eyes tightly ready for the fall but I feel a strong arm wrapped around me. Professor Kim!? He pulled me to his chest as his arm wrapped from under my armpits. I breathed out feeling his hard chest against mine. My hands involuntarily wrapped around his neck tightly; afraid to fall.
My breaths become heavy and I flinched hard the moment I hear a thunder sound. The night when my father!!! The memories come to my mind. I unconsciously developed trauma for thunder sounds & heavy rain.
I didn't feel the ground under me as professor Kim lifted me with his hand from the stairs to the ground. His other hand covered us both with his umbrella. I flinched again screaming loud as I hear another thundering sound. I shivered with coldness and hugged his neck tightly.
My eyes get teary remembering appa's dead body on the bed. My breaths get heavier and I couldn't breathe anymore. "Appa!!"
"Oh God!! Y/N, are you ok!? Y/N." Appa!?
I hugged my Appa more tightly and started crying at him.
"Appa, don't leave me. Appa!! Appa, please don't leave me again." He hugged me tightly.
"It's ok." Only whispers can be heard & everything turned to pitch dark.
