S K I P THIS CHAPTER
I am a horrible person! I am so sorry!
This is not an update, so sad I know. I am super sorry. But the thing is, that I have been super busy lately with personal agendas and stuff like it, and I know some of you have been wanting another chapter but I don't have one fully complete yet.
I'm terrible!
But not all the way at least.
Since I won't do an actual update yet, here is a sneak peak into the next chapter! And, after I finish this next chapter, hopefully by Wednesday, I'll start on the next next chapter and finish it maybe by Saturday. Maybe.
Anyway, here's what's to come...
I looked between Zachary and Mandy Hartfield, my face already slowly setting into a scowl; it was mostly directed at Zachary, however, because this idea was outrageous! I could never do this bullshit! I would rather sit in the hospital staring down at my mother and Lola than this!
"I am not going to homecoming. I'm not even going to the game!" Zachary Rogers, like he always did, smirked, and brought his hand up to clap my back. I successfully withheld the urge to glare at him when he did so.
"C'mon, Andrew! It'll be fun! And, you know," he leaned into my ear, his warm breath uncomfortably close, "Mandy here seems to really like you." Just the slightest bit did I turn my head to lock eyes with Zachary, the boy far too close to me for my liking, with his face inches from mine and his hand still steaming against my shoulder blade even though I was wearing a jacket.
"I'm not taking -"
"He's right! I do like you, Andrew. So, please, go to homecoming with me!" I clamped my mouth shut after being inturrupted by the small sophomore next to Zachary and me. I stepped away from the two begging teenagers and gave them my best incredulous look. "But I don't want to!"
"Yes you do!"
"Please!"
I flinched when they yelled at the same time. Man, they were persistent. It was kind of annoying, but I had to hand it to them. With Zachary's new found friendship that I didn't want to burn to the ground just yet, and Mandy's, oh innocent Mandy's puppy dog eyes and convincing lips, I was actually starting to cave.
"Fine."
I will update soon! I promise!
