During the past three years Khaotung prepared himself for this day, the day when he will return. Two years ago when mew and gulf got married Khaotung didn't attend it as he wasn't ready to face everyone. Although he had his reasons for breakup but at a corner of his heart he still felt like he was a coward to run away like that.
After three years when Mark said he and Neo are going to tie the knot Khaotung felt he had to take this chance. Maybe this can be his only chance to mend things with everyone. Although he didn't admit it, finally being able to see first is one of the reasons too. After that night first never contacted him nor did anyone else ever mention him.
When khaotung heard about their marriage he wasn't surprised because he knew this day would come because even though they started as friends with benefits, their actions were quite the opposite.
Khaotung went to explore the stores at the airport but what caught his eyes we're a magazine at the counter, to be exact it's the cover model. The magazine had a special edition titled "Billionaire Boyfriend". That magazine listed the top 20 Billionaire Bachelors in Thailand. And First was one of them. In three years Khaotung has never even seen first even a photo other than the old ones because during the past three years first had never updated his social media.
Still Khaotung knew First joined khao's parents company and honestly he was glad. If First decided not to join them then Khaotung would feel more guilty. Although he couldn't read much, from what he saw in the article, First is now the CEO and he had globally expanded their business. He is considered as one of the most promising architects in Thailand.
Khaotung didn't realize but even a single photo of First had a deep effect over his feelings. When Khaotung saw his tears on the magazine he was holding he immediately put it down and went out. He took a cab to his destination as no one other than Mark knew he was coming to attend the wedding. He purposefully kept it a secret.
It's a destination wedding at a seaside resort. It was a 40 minute drive from the airport. During that whole journey Khaotung could hear his heart beating fast. He was afraid at the same time he was excited too. If he wasn't impulsive then it could have been him and first. His mind was a mess but one thing he was certain about is he still has feelings for first. He wanted to hate first, move on and forget about everything but that never happened as his feelings for first is more deeper than he thought.
Mark was waiting for Khaotung in the lobby. After a warm welcome Mark accompanied Khaotung to where others were. As soon as the mothers saw, Khaotung rushed to hug him. Although Khaotung's mother wanted to scold him, First's mom protected her precious khaotung. Three of them shed tears as they embraced each other.
Everyone had a lot to say but no one could put their emotions into words. And Khaotung's eyes kept wondering as if he was looking for someone. But a happy ending is not always easy. As soon as Khaotung's father Mr. Anan saw khao he left without saying a word nor letting Khaotung to get a hold of him. Then both mother's lead him to where the other boys were.
They walked towards a villa. The boys were being so loud that they could hear them from far and among those loud unclear voices khaotung recognized one. Just a word or loud laugh was enough to recognize that voice which belonged to First. Khaotung's heart started beating fast as if it would jump out of his chest. Khaotung's palms started to sweat.
Mother's didn't go inside as they figured it would not do any good. Khaotung along with Mark entered. It was a poolside villa with a beach view. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, teasing each other and ganging up against the target. Neo who was standing facing the entrance was dumbfounded as soon as he saw Mark with his guest. Which turned everyone's attention towards the door.
First was seated facing Neo so he was confused about Neo's sudden expression then he turned his head to look back. First had a big smile on his face which disappeared as soon as his eyes met khaotung. Was he disappointed? Or is it anger? Or something else? Khaotung couldn't put a figure to it as First's face was unreadable even for khaotung.
BANG…
A pillow hitted Khaotung's head which made him break eye contact with First, he didn't realize it but ever since he entered the room his gaze was fixed at First.
“Lovee… “ Mew said holding Gulf's hands. Gulf was the one who threw that pillow and was almost to throw a pot now but Mew stopped him.
Khaotung couldn't say anything… he had a lot to say but now he stood there unable to speak a single word. “Ai.. Mark!!!” Gulf yelled at Mark. But before he could say anything First held Gulf's hands and signed him to stop. “P’... He is the groom he can invite whomever he wants and if you create any problem he can even kick us out.” First said to Gulf.
“I know people here must hate me but P’.... For once can't you ask how am I? Did you even care about me for once?” Khaotung asked Gulf but his eyes were pointed at First. First expanded his right arm to reach out something. Once he got a good hold he stood up. It was a crutch and he walked past khaotung without even sparing a glance…
Seeing First like that Khaotung was completely frozen. “What happened to him? Why is he using a crutch? Did he have an accident?” Khaotung couldn't help himself but ask questions. Everyone was shocked to see khaotung's concern and teary eyes which was yelling that he is still not over his love. “Yeah… now you want to know… . Then listen carefully my little brother, he had an accident three years ago when he ran after a meanie. And you know what is funny that person is still playing the victim card even when First lost a lot. He was in a coma for days and had very little chance to survive only because some hotheaded guy wanted to rebel.”
As soon as Gulf finished his words Khaotung collapsed on the floor. He had always blamed First. For not following him, not stopping him from leaving the country and what not but he never thought First didn't do those things because he was unable to do… Wrong… he did everything he could do but Khaotung was too stubborn to give him a chance to explain. Khaotung wondered how he even thought First let him go so easily? From all the people he should have known his Firrfirr better.
“Then his legs… it's because of me right?” Khaotung asked while crying. “It's all on you” Before anyone else could answer Gulf replied.
