Khaotung was feeling restless although Gulf was teasing dynamite, his every word was pointed towards khaotung. And today is Neo and Mark's day so everyone engaged themselves in the chaos of marriage. Khaotung couldn't help his eyes constantly searching for first. And everytime he saw first with someone else his heart would ache. But if first is really moved on for good then there is nothing he could do.
But khaotung still wanted First to be a part of his life; the title didn't matter if he could see and talk to the others. Khaotung might not be as special as he used to be for First in the past but having him in his life was good too.
“Hi..”
Someone intruded khaotung's deep thoughts. Khaotung didn't recognize the owner of that voice. But to be polite he nodded his head to greet the other.
“My name is pod, what is your name nong?” The handsome said with a big smile on his face.
“Khaotung kurb” Khaotung's reply was quite short.
“That's a beautiful name just like you.” Pod said. It was clear he was hitting on khaotung but khaotung was too busy to notice it as he was looking for first. “seems like you also came alone maybe we are destined, would you like to dance with me nong khaotung?” Pod was smooth and he himself was quite a charming guy no one would pass that chance. Pod forwarded his hand to take khaotung's hand.
But before he could reach khaotung's hand someone else caught pod's forwarded palm. As if he was blocking pod from getting close to khaotung. It happened so fast that both pod and khaotung were in shock.
“Long time p'pod” Who else can it be, it was first who stood in front of khaotung partially blocking him.
“It's been a while, First. I was actually looking for you and then I saw someone interesting..” Pod indicated towards khaotung but before khao could say anything first said “you finds a lot of things interesting maybe that's why p'gawin is now with someone else..” That was a harsh statement from First. Not like his usual self he is always so considerate towards others so this was unexpected.
“Maybe I should find a cute boyfriend now, right khaotung?” Pod said while trying to free his hand from First's grip. No one noticed but till now first was holding pod's hand but it wasn't out of affection. Hearing what pod said both pod and first looked towards khaotung to know his reply khaotung only looked at first and he nodded his head in way which indicated ‘no’. Khaotung's eyes widened and he kept looking at First.
“Well too bad p’ he already has a boyfriend” first said and pod really took the hint and excused himself. But khaotung was confused looking at First like a lost puppy and then he said “do I have a boyfriend?” First sighed and turned towards khaotung now they were face to face “it's ok,Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan. It's not like I was waiting for you to return or something.. Like a fool, even after your IG post. I get it Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan, you left me, you stopped loving me and you moved on. It's simple.” First was going on and on, but khaotung was in shock.
First has never called khaotung by his full name, Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan. But what made khaotung confused was what first said after that. Which post is he talking about? The main reason he came back was to see First and if possible to reconcile with him but now what first said made him question his past sanity. “Which post are you talking about?” Khaotung asked, but First wasn't ready to say anything further so he stormed of khaotung was left behind. Khao saw First went to Dynamite and they seemed happy.
The event was almost over so khaotung decided to leave as there is no reason for him to say he came back for First but he is no longer a part of First's life. “Leaving again without a goodbye?” Khaotung knew who that belonged to, his father. His dad has not spoken to him in the past three years. “Let me drop you off” His father said and before khaotung could say anything he took khaotung's bag and walked towards the car.
They didn't say anything to each other on the entire drive but as soon as the car stopped khaotung started crying holding his dad's hand. He kept saying sorry repeatedly. “Don't say sorry to me khao because I think I'm the one who needs to apologize. I know problems I'm your relationship occurred because of First was too busy with work…” His dad took a pause while talking. Khaotung's mind was all over the place, his dad is not wrong but just because First worked for him that doesn't mean he is at fault. Then why is he apologizing?
His father took a deep breath and said “ I had a blood clot in my brain… it was because of a past accident but I didn't care much about it but four years ago it got worse and I went to hospital to check and first was there to meet with his mother ( she is a doctor) and he accidentally found out about my condition.”
“Dad.. Are you okay now? Why..?” Khaotung started to panic.
“Khao I'm good now. I even went through the surgery three years ago and I'm completely fine. My surgery was the day of your graduation. And before you ask Gulf didn't know either, I was scared but First were there for me. He helped me with work and prepared me for the surgery. He didn't want to keep it a secret from you but I asked him to do so.”
Now everything was clear for khaotung why First was too busy? Why he prioritizes his work.. No his dad's company. But now khaotung had lost everything, he gave up on the man who did everything for him in silence. Khaotung failed to read first. No khaotung thought he knew First in and out but turns out he never was completely aware of anything.
Khaotung couldn't hold back his tears, he hold his head with both hands. In between his cries khaotung said “I messed up… firrfirr… please give me another chance… … ahhh… I messed up..”
It was already late when First released khaotung left him again, no he abandoned him again that would be the correct word. First was sad, disappointed but he consoled himself like he did in the past three years. If khaotung wants this then he won't oppose it.
The next day First had an important meeting so he left for office early, as he is the CEO now. First buried himself with work as soon as he reached his office. So he didn't paid much attention to the person who entered his room as it was obvious to him this has to be his secretary who bought him his regular double shot espresso but as soon as he took a sip he realized it wasn't his regular coffee but he was too stunned when he saw the one who bought that.
First rushed out of his cabin to Mr Anan's. As soon as he saw First entering his cabin Mr Anan said “do you like your new assistant?”
