Jane said excitedly, "Absolutely. No problem on my end. I'll come and sign the consent form tomorrow." Uncontainable joy shimmered through her voice.
Jane couldn't believe she'd just received such wonderful news. The hint of helplessness that had arisen due to William's refusal to repair the ring was completely washed away by the joy this phone call brought.
The other party replied warmly, "Alright, see you tomorrow then."
Jane said, "Yeah, see you tomorrow. Thank you so much."
After hanging up the phone, Jane was still a bit trembling with excitement. Day after day, she'd been agonizing over her mom's surgery.

Hayden said, "Mr. Drake, the hospital has followed your instructions and notified Jane. All arrangements for her mother's surgery have been made.
"Robert agreed to come and perform the surgery himself, for your sake. But there's one thing I don't quite understand. Why did you go out of your way to invite Robert back just to operate on Jane's mother and not even tell Jane?
"After all, a specialist of Robert's caliber doesn't grant personal favors to just anyone. This is depleting your social capital."
Hayden pondered, 'Earlier this year, even the family head of one of the influential families in Jovinia couldn't get Robert for his surgery. Isn't Mr. Drake showing Jane a bit too much favor with this arrangement?'
Luke reclined lazily in the leather executive chair behind his desk, a cigarette held lightly between the fingers of his left hand.
Wispy tendrils of smoke curled up from between Luke's fingers, obscuring the expression in his eyes.
At Harvey's words, Luke's thin lips curved into a faint smirk as he stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray. He lifted his gaze, a mocking glint and icy indifference in his eyes.
He said, "Think of it as a little reward for her. After all, even a kept pet deserves a treat now and then, doesn't it?"
He suddenly recalled the sight of Jane biting down on her plump, rosy lips when she was humiliated. His long, narrow eyes darkened slightly, their inscrutable depths growing even more profound.
Just then, a knock sounded at the door. Harvey entered.
Harvey reported, "Mr. Drake, your car is ready. Mr. Samuel Drake and Mrs. Yvonne Drake have already departed for the venue. If we leave now, we'll arrive perfectly on time."
Luke rose from his chair, ready to depart.
Just then, Harvey added, "Mr. Drake, regarding Ms. Judd, I've arranged for the evening gown and jewelry to be delivered to her.
"The chauffeur is waiting at her residence, so she'll arrive before you. Should I have her wait at the entrance for your arrival?"
Harvey pondered, 'Ella had recently landed herself in big trouble, and if it weren't for Luke, she never would have made it out.
'Samuel explicitly stated that Luke must bring a companion to this party. He just wants to meet the woman Luke is currently seeing.
'Luke had already turned down the blind dates arranged by his family and made it clear to them that he intended to marry Ella in the future.
'As the future Mrs. Drake, Ella must make a graceful and impeccable debut before the Drake family tonight. Otherwise, if Samuel isn't satisfied with Ella, it could jeopardize their marriage.
'If the family tries to set Luke up with someone from a more suitable background, it will rub him the wrong way. Luke has never been one to let his family dictate his life.
