Targaryen Twins--Daenerys Targaryen - Chapter 2: Chapter 2

I wake up with a gasp I dreamt of war and a dragon falling and the ironfleet sinking I have dreams of the future and I'm not sure why, nobody is I just concluded it to another ability of my warging. I look around and adjust my eyes to the room thankfully I haven't woken up the sleeping duo I quietly slip out of bed and gather my clothes.
Once I'm dressed I hastily leave the room I need a bath and breakfast before I speak to the queen about her child.
"My lady"
I stop at the voice and close my eyes when I open them I have a smile on my face and I turn around to meet purple eyes "Your grace"
She looks me up and down with amusement and looks down at my clothes and I don't exactly look tidy "Apologies for my appearance"
"It is fine"
"I have something to speak to you about I just need to go to my chambers"
"All my guests have arrived and are meeting in the war room we will meet when the sun has risen"
I nod and turn around and quickly make my way to the room once I've entered I am happy to see that a bath is already drawn.
I quickly get into the bath then once I'm out I put on a black dress and make myself presentable. I'm guessing Jon is already there or is somewhere sulking since he didn't get his help.

When I arrive at the war room the unsullied guard opens the door and everyone is already seated. I smile when I see Margaery Tyrell sitting with her grandma when the Dornish visited Kings landing I spent many days and nights with the woman it was break from that vile Joffrey and I was glad when I got the pleasure of watching him die.
We all exchange smiles and I'm guessing they were all waiting for me I sit next to the Dornish duo and the queen speaks "Shall we get started"
"I say if you want the iron throne then take it We have an army, a fleet, and three dragons we should hit King's Landing now, hard, with everything we have. The city will fall within a day"
"If we turn the dragons loose, tens of thousands will die in the firestorms"
Tyrion states and the Ellaria speaks up "It is called war if you don't have the stomach for it scurry back into hiding"
"I know how you wage war we don't poison little girls here Myrcella was innocent"
"She was a Lannister there are no innocent Lannisters" Ellaria exclaims and I notice how sour this turned and how quickly
"That's enough Lord Tyrion is Hand of the Queen you will treat him with respect"
"A hand who only worries if the woman who sits on your throne makes it out alive"
Tyrion and Daenerys looks to me and she lets out a breath "I am not here to be queen of the ashes"
"Thats very nice to here but Commoners, nobles, they're all just children, really they won't obey you unless they fear you"
I nod along at Olenna's words it is true fear can come first and the Queen can proved herself as a good queen once she sits on the throne "I'm grateful to you, Lady Olenna, for your counsel I'm grateful to all of you but you have chosen to follow me. I will not attack King's Landing. We will not attack King's Landing"
"Then how do you mean to take the Iron Throne? By asking nicely?"
I smile at the words of Yara but the Queen shakes her head "We will lay siege to the capital, surrounding the city on all sides Cersei will have the Iron Throne, but no food for her army or the people but we won't use Dothraki and Unsullied. Cersei will try to rally the lords of Westeros by appealing to their loyalty, their love for their country if we besiege the city with foreigners, we prove her point our army should be Westerosi"
"And I suppose we're providing the Westerosi?"
"You are Lady Greyjoy will escort you home to Sunspear and her Iron Fleet will ferry the Dornish army back up to King's Landing. The Dornish will lay siege to the capital alongside the Tyrell army two great kingdoms united against Cersei"
This has to be what my dream was about "You can't"
They all look to me and Daenerys raises an eyebrow "And why not?"
"I had a dream..."
Yara scoffs "We can't because you had a dream"
"Listen to the girl"
I smile to Ellaria for defending me she knows of my abilities and I predicted the battle of black water when I saw the green fire in my dream "It was of a war of ships and the iron fleet sinking"
"So you want me to stop this plan because of a dream"
I shrug at the queens words if she doesn't want to take my advice she doesn't need to but she will lose two allies "You are the queen you can do as you please but if you do you will be sending them to their death"
"Forgive me for asking, but why did you bother to bring your own army if you just plan on using ours"
The queen looks away from me to Yara but Tyrion speaks up "The Unsullied will have another objective for decades, House Lannister has been the true power in Westeros and the seat of that power is Casterly Rock Grey Worm and the Unsullied will sail for the Rock and take it"
I shake my head "Stupid"
The Queen's head snaps to me and she narrows her eyes "Another dream?"
"No, Casterly rock is of no use to Cersi the only one who truly cared about the rock was Tywin and now he is dead. And there is also the fact that the mines in casterly rock run dry but you know that don't you...." I turn to Tyrion "...Tyrion"
I only came about this information because I was wondering the red keep in places I shouldn't have been and overheard Cersi and Tywin talking everyone looks to Tyrion "I did not"
"Well as the old master of coin I highly doubt that but that doesnt matter...Where would a queen without gold a queen who needs to pay for an army a queen who has debt try to acquire this gold"
"Highgarden..."
I hear Margaery say "They are going to try and take high garden well our army is elsewhere"
I smile and lean back into my seat "10 points to the Tyrells"
I probably shouldn't joke but it's entertaining in this boring meeting everyone is quiet as the process the information and then the Queen looks to me "What will you have me do?"
"The main asset Cersei has is Euron greyjoy fleet and the golden army I say you take a dragon and the Yara's fleet to destroy the Euron's"
"And what of the dornish?"
"They will have to wait until Euron's fleet is gone I believe that your initial plan is what I saw in my dream but with a dragon, it could be avoided"
She nods and then looks to the group "Then that will be the plan are you with me"
Everyone says they are with her and she dismisses them "Your grace can I have a moment of your time?"
She nods and we wait for everyone to leave Ellaria give me a pat on the shoulder as she leaves and I know it's because she is proud of me "I also had another dream"
"What about?"
I purse my lips I'm not sure how she will react "It was of a dragon falling to its death into water I believe Cersei may be making or already have a weapon that can kill your children"
"And you still want me to send a dragon with the fleet?"
I shake my head lightly "I don't want you to send a dragon I want you to ride the dragon"
"And risk my life is well"
"Your life is always at risk but I believe you to be a trained dragon rider but if she does have a weapon then it is possible to they will have multiple"
She looks at the table in thought and I decide to voice my other concern "May I speak freely?"
She looks up at me with a curious look and nods I let out a breath "I believe that your hand isn't the best choice of hands possible"
"I know of your opinion of-"
"I don't believe you do Tyrion is very wise and I'm sure he has gained your trust when in essos but here it is different your goal in essos wasn't to get back your throne from Cersei it was to free slaves"
Her eyes narrows and I know I may of hit some sort of nerve "My goal has and always will be to get my throne back"
I bite my lip gently as I think over what to say "Yes I believe that but all I'm saying is that you could have someone who is more suited to the role he wants his sister safe or at least not dead and he is pushing you to do this peacefully and it nearly just cost you two powerful allies"
Her face softens and I'm guessing she is seeing it my way she looks at me with a raised eyebrow "Who would you have me choose? You?"
I chuckle lightly and shake my head "I'd be an amazing hand but no I'm just saying think about your options. Cersei will surely surrender once she knows she has lost take out her allies and let her stand alone to realize it"
She smiles at me and I find myself smiling too "You are already acting as a hand but I will speak to Tyrion and see where his true loyalty stands"
I nod and stand up "Well if you will excuse me I wish to speak with my friend"
I go to walk out but her voice stops me "Lady Margaery?"
I turn back around and she had an almost playful look on her face and I'm intrigued to see where she is going with this "Yes"
She nods slowly "Your friends with her like your friends with Ellaria and Oberyn?"
I raise an eyebrow confused and then I remember our encounter in the early morning and smirk "Yes in a way but my friendship with Ellaria and Oberyn is much stronger"
She nods a slight smirk still playing on her lips "Well enjoy your time with Lady Margaery"
I smile and turn around and leave the room in search for Lady Margaery.

I find Lady Margaery outside the castle her hair flowing in the wind and her watching the sea crash against the rocks I walk over and quietly and once in behind her I get close to her ear
"Boo!"
She jumps nearly five feet in the air and I lean over holding my belly as I laugh at her she turns around with a horrified expression on her face.
She narrows her eyes and pushes me making me land on the floor but it doesn't stop me from laughing "Don't do that I nearly had a heart attack!"
I wipe the tears from my face as my laughter dies down "We couldn't have that now could Lady Margaery dies from being frightened by her friend"
She smiles and holds out a hand and takes it and she pulls me up I return her smile "How are you Margaery I never sent my condolences when Tommen was assassinated"
"I am fine Tommen was a sweet boy and treated me well but he was not fit to be king he was too innocent"
I nod along at her words "Well either way who can say they were queen three times"
She chuckles lightly and wraps an arm into mine as we watch the sea "Yes but as you can see I'm happier as the warden of the south it just took me a while to see that"
"Why is it that you want to help the Queen? You barely know her"
She shrugs "It was my grandmother's idea she wants revenge on all that Cersei has taken from us she also believes she killed her own son so she could take the throne"
I definitely don't think she would she loved her children she is a power-hungry woman but I don't think she would go that far "I doubt that but I'm happy you are here"
"Why are you here?"
"There is a threat in the north and it will take out all of us Jon has come for the help of the queen"
She smiles "And I'm guessing she isn't helping until he bends the knee?"
"Yes but we have told our people that we are not going to now to anyone again so Jon is trying to avoid it"
"I thought it was more of a Dornish thing not to bend the knee"
I smile at her "And yet Oberyn and Ellaria are here to help the Queen"
She goes to reply but we hear a screech above as I look up and smile as the queen's child stops ontop of the hill I turn to Margaery with a smile and she looks at me confused then her eyes widen "You are not about to do what I think you are"
I gently let go of the girl and start back away from her "I'm not about to do what you think...maybe"
"Then why are you backing away towards a dragon"
I smirk at her she knows my love of the dragons and it may be insane to approach it when their mother isn't around but I'm an adventurous woman "I'm not a mind reader I don't know your thoughts"
She stays where she is probably in fear of the dragon and I smile "Lia stop! Are you asking to be set ablaze or eaten"
I smile at her I've live my life to the fullest and In my opinion that would be the best way to go "I'll be fine"
I turn around and begin to approach the dragon I start to think if Daenerys would be mad that I went near her children. I walk slowly and the dragon turns around as the presence of another it starts to snarl at me and I get a good look at it and I see that it is viserion.
I hold out a hand "Calm Viseron"
The dragon carries on staring at me and lets out a low snarl "I am a friend of your mothers"
He suddenly throws his head up in the air and screeches it's head comes back down and stares at me he opens his mouth and I can see the orange ember start to form.
I sigh keeping my hand out I lower myself to one knee and lower my head I can feel the hot breath of the dragon on my hand and I smile and look back up to see the dragon is looking at me with curious eyes.
I slowly stand and then brush my hand against the dragon's nose and it purrs against my hand. My smile widens at the dragon "You are beautiful Viserion"
He pushes into my hand and I give him one last pet on the nose and step back the dragon looks me over one last time and flies away and I watch in awe.
I turn back to Lady Margaery with a smile but it drops when I see the dragon queen standing next to her but she doesn't seem mad.
I walk up to the pair "I'm sorry your grace my curiosity got the best of me"
She's looking at me with shock but she covers it with a smile "It's fine I'm just surprised that you are still standing here"
To be honest, I'm surprised as well that only people with blood Valyria can even get close to dragons "Yes I am too...Your children are beautiful"
"Yes it's a blessing that they were brought into this world again I even have hope for the egg you gifted me"
I smile at her I'm sure that it won't crack but it's there is a chance and it's exciting "Well if you have hope I do too...Was there something you needed"
"No I've come for drogon the ships have already left for Euron's fleet"
I nod at her "Well then I hope for your safe return your grace"
She nods and walks off in search of her children and I watch her go with a smile on my face I turn to my right and see Margaery looking at me with a smirk "What?"
"You like her"
I raise an eyebrow in confusion "I know I do"
She shakes her head and chicken at me "No you like her and want to bed her"
I purse my lips and look away "Maybe but I don't want to cross a line she is a queen after all I don't want to possibly disrespect her"
"Are you blind?"
I look over to the lady at the insult with a raised eyebrow "Well obviously not"
She scoffs and smirks at me "She wants you too her eyes were practically shining stars when you were interacting with her dragon then when you bidder her goodbye her face fell into a slight frown"
I try to remember the interaction with the queen but I don't remember any of that "How did you see all of that?"
She shrugs and we begin walking back to the castle "If you wish to have Daenerys you must stay out of others' chambers I don't think she's one to share...unless she is involved too"
I nod I do want Daenerys she is like no other woman or man I have encountered but now I know that Daenerys could want me too I don't think I'd even look at another again.
