"Hello, Mr. Burnett, I'm Celeste Willis," Celeste walked ahead, gracefully and quickly introducing herself.
Her smile was elegant, leaving no room for criticism.
"As for this Miss Silvermoon, she might just be passing by," Celeste pretended to speak for Zara.
Zara remained calmly silent, not in a hurry to speak.
Not far away, Sterling watched her closely.
She didn't move, looking completely like someone who was just passing by.
Her expression was as light as an early blooming lotus, natural and serene.
Sterling narrowed his eyes, unable to understand why Zara came here in the first place.
After Celeste finished speaking, she took a step forward and waited for Mr. Burnett to lead her inside.
But Mr. Burnett didn't move.
He shook his head, lowering his gaze. "Something's not right. The Alpha didn't mention anyone named Celeste Willis. Only Zara Silvermoon."
"Mr. Burnett, hi, it's me," Zara called out, passing by Celeste and walking up to Mr. Burnett. "I'm Zara."
"Zara?" Mr. Burnett heard her say her name and immediately nodded. "Yes, yes, that's the name. Miss Silvermoon, please come in."
He became warm and enthusiastic, ushering Zara inside.
Celeste, been forgotten, stood there like a statue, her mind blank.
How could this happen?
Zara didn't come to find Sterling?
Instead, she came to meet Alpha Anderson?
Sterling furrowed his brows tightly, even though he had seen countless twists and turns in pack life, the current situation surprised him.
His gaze remained on Zara, unable to look away.
"Sterling," Celeste came back and her face looked dark.
She had just confidently claimed that not only could she meet Alpha Anderson, but she could also persuade him to cooperate with Genesis Group. Now... she had been proven wrong?
She was slapped in the face, while Zara was warmly welcomed by the Anderson Pack's butler?
It wasn't just a slap in the face; it was as if they were rubbing her face into the ground!
Zara was quickly brought into the reception room by Mr. Burnett.
The Anderson Pack treated their guests differently based on their status.
Ordinary guests were received in the side hall.
Important ones were received in the main hall.
The most distinguished guests would be invited to the VIP room upstairs.
Zara was led to the VIP room.
Along the way, the servants couldn't help but glance at her, trying to guess her identity.
It was worth noting that in a year, there were only a handful of guests who were invited to this room.
Zara remained undisturbed by the servants' gazes and was not surprised by the arrangements in the VIP room.
She remained calm and serene, sitting on the chair like an ancient ink painting.
Mr. Burnett couldn't help but take a few more glances at her, becoming even more courteous. "Please wait a moment; Alpha will be here soon."
"Sure, thank you, Mr. Burnett," Zara replied softly.
Immediately, someone brought in top-quality coffee.
The coffee had no brand name, but its aroma filled the room, a rare top-grade coffee that couldn't be found in the market.
She took a shallow sip and, seeing Mr. Burnett leave, she took out her phone and sent a message to Williams, asking him to come and persuade Celeste and the others to leave.
Celeste was unaware of Alpha Anderson's situation, and if she caused any trouble, all their previous efforts would be in vain.
As soon as she sent the message, there was movement outside the door.
Zara stood up, and a handsome man walked in from outside.
The man had a serious expression, a large frame, a tall figure, and a strong presence.
Although his face had only slight wrinkles, his hair was as white as snow.
Due to his white hair, he looked like he was in his fifty hundred or sixty hundred.
This person was none other than Alpha Jack Anderson, also the business tycoon of Silvaria.
In fact, Alpha Anderson was only in his forty.
"Alpha Jack," seeing him, Zara stood up and greeted him politely.
Jack quickly stopped her from bowing, "Why didn't you inform me in advance before coming? I could have someone picked you up."
"You're busy with important matters. How can I waste your time?" Zara replied with a gentle smile.
Although she used a respectful address, there was a sense of warmth in her eyes.
Seeing her, Jack's facial lines softened.
Outside, Celeste was not giving up.
"There must be a mistake!"
She refused to believe that with her strong connections, Alpha Anderson would not see her!
"I'll explain the situation with Luna Anderson right now. Then he will definitely come to pick me up!" She turned around to find someone standing in her path.
"You better not go. It'll be a disaster if you do." Someone stepped in to stop her.
Celeste turned around anxiously, almost colliding with the person.
Looking up, she saw Williams.
Williams's face showed no emotions, he just looked at her indifferently.
"What do you mean?" She urgently wanted to regain her face, forgetting to maintain her image, her expression starting to crack.
Williams didn't feel like talking to Celeste and couldn't be bothered to explain. He came to Sterling. "Sterling, this matter with Alpha Jack is no small matter. Better take Miss Celeste away first."
"I'm here to help!" Williams's disregard irritated Celeste, and she suppressed her anger to explain, "I'm acquainted with Luna Anderson. It would be safest if I handle this matter."
Williams chuckled upon hearing this, "You're familiar with Luna Anderson, but don't you know that they have had no relationship for a long time? Not only that, but they are arch enemies now."
He wanted to let her preserve her own dignity, but since she insisted on arguing, he had no choice but to tell the truth.
"How... how is that possible?" Celeste's face turned pale instantly. "How do you know?"
Williams didn't know at first, but Zara mentioned it on the way here.
Celeste rushed to help, but she didn't even bother to understand the basic situation. It was unbelievable...
Luckily, he was worried about Zara, so he specially came to wait for her; otherwise, today's situation could have been a real mess.
Williams looked at Sterling and said, "Sterling, you are usually more reliable, how come you're acting so recklessly this time!"
He was referring to Sterling inviting Celeste to come as a mediator.
They had already found Thousand-Faced Queen, and now he called Celeste too. What was going on?
In Celeste's ears, these words were like burning fire, not directed at Sterling, but clearly aimed at her!
Celeste couldn't stand this and retorted, "What nonsense are you talking about! Luna Anderson never told me that their relationship was bad!"
"Even if their relationship was end, does she need to make a public spectacle and broadcast it to the world?"
Celeste's ignorance left Williams extremely speechless.
Only someone like Sterling, with poor judgment, could like this kind of she-wolf.
Celeste: "..."
Feeling wronged, she bit her lip.
"What's really going on?" Sterling asked with a deep voice.
Alpha Anderson was a very low-profile person, and his personal matters were almost impossible to find out.
Williams put his hands in his pockets and looked at the two. "Do you know why Alpha Jack is so enthusiastic about the entertainment industry and acquired most of the entertainment companies in just a few years?"
"It's because he's seeking revenge on his ex-mate. Initially, his ex-mate had an affair with a director and took away all his assets. Now, by acquiring these entertainment companies, he's preventing his ex-mate from gaining a foothold!"
"With his influence, do you think his ex-mate still could manage to get a decent role?" He directed this question at Celeste.
Celeste lowered her head in silence.
Indeed, she hadn't thought much about it before, but now she realized there was a problem.
"Is this... believable?" She still held on to a glimmer of hope, hoping that this information was wrong.
"Thousand Faced Queen said it. She knows Alpha Jack best," Williams replied coolly.
As soon as Thousand Faced Queen was mentioned, Celeste suddenly thought of something, and her face turned deathly pale.
"Could it be that Zara is... Thousand Faced Queen?"
