Not even ten minutes later, a small red mini car stopped in front of her.
A cheerful woman jumped out of the car.
"Boss, are you really leaving?" The woman, who was Zara's best friend, Freya Bennett, immediately asked.
"Yes." Zara nodded, opening the passenger door and getting in.
"Great!" Freya leaned against the car door and jumped into the driver's seat, exclaiming with excitement, "You were originally such a proud person, but because of a person named Ashford, you lost your pride and became a slave to their pack. They not only don't appreciate it, but also think that you took advantage of them, always treating you with ill intentions. I couldn't bear it long ago!"
Zara closed her eyes for a moment, not saying anything.
She was not sad about leaving Sterling. Instead, she felt that her ten years of youth had been wasted.
Freya realized that Zara was feeling uncomfortable, reached out and held her, "If you want to cry, then cry."
Zara stayed in Freya's embrace for a while, wiped away the tears in her eyes, and smiled, "Today is a good day, I want to go to the amusement park to celebrate."
Half an hour later.
At a city center amusement park, Zara sat on a high-rise jumping ride, feeling the exhilarating free fall speed and screaming loudly.
After that, she participated in a series of thrilling and exciting games such as the spinning wheel, high-speed racing cars, and free fall slides.
She screamed vigorously while shedding tears.
In her mind, the scenes of the ten years since she met Sterling flashed like an old movie, and then they were all cleared away. It seemed that a heavy burden had disappeared from her thoughts.
The thrilling and exciting games truly had the effect of soothing her. After a round, she felt much more comfortable.
Wiping away tears, she completely removed Sterling from her heart.
Then, with Freya's company, she went to a fashion store and changed her entire outfit from the inside out, along with changing her pale straight hair to curly golden waves.
Freya looked at her, who had become fresh, well-fitted, and satisfied, and raised her thumbs up, "This is the real you."
Zara looked at herself in the mirror. Elegant, beautiful, and confident.
No one could recognize that she had been a depressed, silent, and pitiful Luna Ashford for the past four years.
"Long time no see, Zara," she said quietly.
After a series of activities, it was already seven o'clock in the evening.
The two hungry women went to a restaurant.
"You sit there and wait for a moment, I'll go find the owner to make some delicious food!"
Freya patted Zara's shoulder and said before turning away.
Zara entered the reserved private room, and two handsome men walked closer.
It was indeed Sterling and his beta Erik.
On ordinary days, she might not have seen Sterling for weeks on end, but once their relationship was end, here they were, facing each other again.
"Luna," the beta also noticed her and greeted her politely. "Are you here to wait for the Alpha?"
Zara didn't want him to have any misunderstandings, so she quickly explained, "I'm not your Luna anymore. And I wasn't come here to find your Alpha. It was just a chance encounter."
"This foolish trick won't work on me!" Sterling said.
For some reason, he couldn't help staring at her eyes.
With her new hairstyle and new outfit, she looked bright and dazzling.
He couldn't help but think: Does she intentionally appear in front of him like this to attract his attention?
Just another way to play hard to get?
The more she acted like this, the more disgusted he felt.
"Uh... Trick?" Zara didn't expect that they had already signed the papers, yet he still thought that way.
His words made her burst into laughter.
Thinking that he never trusted her, she didn't care to explain and simply nodded thoughtfully, "Think whatever you want."
After speaking, she walked straight into the private room.
Sterling thought she would continue explaining, prepared to take a step forward, but unexpectedly, he heard this answer and involuntarily stopped, turning his head to look at her.
He saw nothing but her figure.
She... had left?
After finishing dinner, Freya, full of mystery, said, "Not only do you need to change your appearance, but also your mindset. I want you to become a Queen."
Zara felt confused about what Freya had in mind until she was taken to the city's largest bar, when she understood.
"Are you sure you want me to dance like this?"
Zara looked uncomfortably at the mesmerizing and passionate figures on stage.
"You've danced before, what are you afraid of!" Freya threw a red dress at her.
"With your skills, when you step on that stage, those professional dancers can only step aside!"
Hearing those encouraging words, Zara laughed and chose a relatively modest costume.
"I'll stick to classical dance."
After changing her clothes, she confidently danced on stage.
Under powerful music, her body was graceful and elegant.
The perfect costume showcased her flexibility as she gracefully danced like a fairy in the mortal world.
"What the hell? Someone came to the bar and danced classical dance?"
Someone in the audience spotted her different behavior and shouted.
"This dance really suits the rhythm of the music."
"Wow, so seductive and professional!"
Those who had previously criticized her had a change of attitude when they saw her professional dance.
They widened their eyes in astonishment.
They had never seen someone use classical dance to perform such lively music without any conflict.
The dancer who had been performing on the stage before was also captivated by these graceful movements and slowly withdrew to the side.
Under the lights, Zara was the only one spinning and dancing, her flowing dress fluttering, beautiful like a fairy.
The other dancers twirled around poles, revealing costumes and powerful moves, serving as the backdrop for her.
Initially, Freya was worried that Zara would be criticized for dancing classical dance. But seeing this scene, Freya couldn't help raising her chin, with a look of admiration on her face.
"Zara is truly admirable, shining wherever she goes."
Zara was immersed in her dance, oblivious to the gazes around her.
It had been four years since she last danced, and her patience had finally broken at that moment.
All she wanted now was to unleash herself.
Her soft and seductive figure, combined with her gentleness and dexterity, made her dance with even more joy.
She climbed up an iron pole and performed dynamic moves on it.
Her dance was not like that of other pole dancers, not too forceful, but it definitely brought freshness.
Watching her effortlessly and flawlessly perform one difficult move after another, the continuous applause resounded throughout the stage.
"Oh, a new girl with some skills."
Off the stage, Sterling and a few friends stepped forward, with one of them being captivated by the image on stage.
The more he looked, the more he felt that something was not right.
"That woman... she looks like your Luna."
Sterling raised his head upon hearing this and looked at the woman dancing on the stage. His body was still, and his facial expression seemed a bit surprised.
