"It's your turn," I urged.
My eyes sparkled, my face filled with a smile, and my chin continuously pressed down, signaling for him to press and confirm.
Across from him, the pack members were also looking at him.
Around us, the entering and exiting employees slowed down to see his reaction.
Sterling gazed at me intently.
He seemed to be carefully confirming whether my pressing the button was using the pup and mating bond as threats to force him to yield.
He slowly raised his finger, and indeed I widened my eyes, a look of urgency appearing on my face.
Sterling sneered, convinced that I just wanted to play a survival game and wait for him to take a step back to save the mating bond.
But I didn't think about that at all. I was tense and only hoped that Sterling would act quickly. I didn't want to dissolve our bond when we were surrounded by everyone.
It took Sterling more than ten seconds to put his finger down, to press and confirm!
He thought I would definitely reveal my true intentions before the next second, but I didn't say a word until the end!
The raised fingers fell silently.
At that moment, a chilly voice came, "Sterling."
Celeste led her assistant over, her face beaming with a radiant smile.
She happened to see the employee sealing the video, presenting the bond dissolution certificate, and covering her mouth pretending, "You... you really dissolved your bond?"
I curled my lips, mocking with a smirk.
At first, Sterling didn't look happy, and his movements were inexplicably slow, but as Celeste came, he quickly confirmed the bond dissolution, so he must have been worried about Celeste to some extent.
Celeste didn't linger for too long either. She approached and held Sterling's arm, "I rushed over, didn't have breakfast yet. I heard there's a great breakfast restaurant nearby. Can you go there with me?"
I didn't care about the two showing affection towards each other. So I turned around and walked out.
"Zara, why don't we go together?" Celeste called from behind.
She leaned on Sterling's arm, rested her head on his shoulder, and said, "Although you dissolved your bond, we are still friends. Blake also often said that he wanted to play with Lyra."
I knew that she was boasting about her victory, but I only felt extremely bored and not bothered to give her face, so just saying straightforwardly, "No need, I don't have a habit of being friends after bond dissolution."
I started to play the role of a meek she-wolf like a lamb again, but I wouldn't be provoked by her any longer.
"Why don't you leave your contact information?" The assistant behind Celeste said, "Celeste has a lot of resources and knows many big Alphas. In the future, she could introduce suitable people to you. It certainly won't leave you alone after the bond dissolution. The quality of life will be affected."
"What are you saying!" Celeste whispered, but it had no effect whatsoever.
Their play was performed very well... I looked at Celeste and couldn't help but laugh.
With my income, I can support hundreds of Celestes on my own. So why should I worry about the quality of life?
"Miss Celeste doesn't need to worry about my quality of life."
Before I could speak, a male voice interjected.
Immediately, my shoulder sank, and someone grabbed me.
"One month's sales profit is enough for me to buy ten Moonlight Media companies and support Zara alone. That's enough."
Moonlight Media is the company where Celeste currently works.
With these words, Marcus mocked Celeste for not being able to identify herself.
"Marcus?" Seeing the man in front of me, Celeste's perfect face quickly changed, her eyes widened, showing an expression of disbelief, "You, you two?"
Sterling remained silent next to her all the time, suddenly becoming weary, and his eyes were fixed on the hand placed on my shoulder!
Finally, he understood that I truly wanted bond dissolution.
And the reason for the bond dissolution was definitely the man in front of them!
I couldn't have known this man for three or two days. He must have thought I deceived him during our mating!
Sterling deeply felt my betrayal, even angrier than when I forced him to mate!
Celeste clearly sensed his anger, her heart skipping a beat.
"Let's go." Marcus didn't look at the others and gently said to me.
I nodded, "Okay."
Both of us ignored the group of people behind us and left.
Everyone who witnessed this scene was stunned.
"Isn't that Marcus, the one directly involved in advertising and selling through live streaming?"
"A few years ago, he sold a rocket, and Starlight Media, where he worked, made a lot of money. He became even more famous."
"Nowadays, from eight to eighty hundreds years old, everyone knows him, buy things from him, and his monthly revenue is in the trillions!"
"Not only that, his father is the second richest Alpha and businessman in this territory, a truly wealthy heir!"
Such a man, although he couldn't compare to Sterling, was not inferior either.
It seems that I have just walked out of a wealthy pack and am about to step into another wealthy pack.
Celeste remained silent, tightening her fingers.
How could this she-wolf break off her mating bond four years ago and then, four years later, still have someone as wealthy as Marcus pursuing her?
"Freya called you, right?"
When we arrived at a place with no one around, I pushed Marcus away and remained speechless.
Marcus had a youthful face and a constant smile, very charming.
"It has nothing to do with her. I wanted to come here on my own. What I just said wasn't a joke. If you want, we can get mated immediately!"
"Enough, I don't want to be killed by your father. Life is good, and I still want to live for several more decades." I rolled my eyes.
We had known each other for many years, so there was no need for reservations. We spoke our minds.
Marcus snorted and laughed. The two of us made innocuous jokes for a while before separating.
I went straight to Starlight Media to find Freya. "Freya, with all the commotion today, something must have happened. Pay attention."
Freya pressed the tablet on the table. "It's late, something did happen."
I raised the tablet, looked down, saw the content on it, and took a sharp breath with a hiss.
I didn't know which audience member had enthusiastically posted authentic photos of my bond dissolution from Sterling and my relationship with Marcus on the internet.
The other party had a conscience and made a painting for me, but this was enough to cause a stir online.
No, it hadn't been 20 minutes, and the number of views had already exceeded 300,000!
I had a headache. "Marcus is purposefully seeking trouble for himself!"
Freya patted my shoulder. "It's not like you don't know the public relations skills of Starlight. Rest assured, nothing will happen."
"However, your bond dissolution is already done, and you can't stay in hiding forever." Freya hurriedly focused. "Why don't we start over like before? Everyone misses you so much."
Upon hearing her words, my eyes lit up. "Okay, but I want to bring Lyra along."
Twenty minutes later, Lyra and I arrived at Starlight Media.
"Leave all your luggage here—" Freya handed out a white Queen mask as pure as moon-blessed snow, with a radiant glow in her eyes, "If everyone knows that the Thousand-Faced Queen is back, they will go crazy to watch."
I silently accepted the mask and put it on my face.
"The mask is so interesting, Mama, I want to wear it too!" Lyra exclaimed excitedly when she saw me wearing the mask.
"My little pup, I've prepared one for you too." Freya handed the little pink werewolf mask with a magical aura to the little pup.
Magical rays of light shot out from Lyra's big eyes, and with Freya's help, she quickly put on the mask.
"Mama, shall we go and perform?" The little pup happily ran to my side, tugging at my sleeve.
I nodded, "We will be live-streaming."
As I spoke, I opened a live-streaming room for myself.
Only a few people were watching.
Despite that, I was still enthusiastic. There was a mysterious force drawing me in. After four years, I spoke up, "Hello, everyone. I am your old friend, the Thousand-Faced Queen. I'm sure you're all curious about why I disappeared for four years. I will tell you about my story."
I briefly talked about my mating and pup birth, while introducing Lyra to everyone.
Just a few minutes after the introduction, the initially empty live-streaming room suddenly became lively.
"Moon Goddess, did I read it correctly? The Thousand-Faced Queen has returned?"
