Aria’s POV
I stared at him in shock. He was still here? He'd been sitting in his car waiting for me for two whole hours?
I immediately wanted to run to him—but Zane grabbed my arm and held me back.
“Hey there, Grayson,” Zane said with a crooked smile. “Sorry your little girlfriend couldn't make it on time. She was with me the whole night.”
Grayson’s face darkened.
“It’s not what you think!” I blurted out. “I was just trying to get him to sign the contract—”
Zane cut me off. “She tried really hard, you know? We drank, we danced, I even carried her out of a club. No wonder you picked her. She’s got a hell of a body.”
I jerked away from him, furious. “Let go of me! Why would you say something like that?!”
Grayson suddenly stormed over. Before I could make sense of what’s happening, his iron fist had landed on Zane’s face, slamming him back onto his car. I clamped my mouth and gasped. That’s the first time I saw him getting physical.
Then I was pulled straight into his arms. I smelt his scent and I knew—he was mad. Like really mad.
“Wow,” Zane coughed, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth, but still grinning. “Can’t believe someone actually managed to push Grayson Hart over the edge like that. She must really mean something to you huh?”
Grayson said nothing. He dragged me toward his car and shoved me in. My ankle was screaming in pain, but I didn’t dare say a word.
“This only makes me more interested!” Zane called after us. “Next time I might actually fuck her Grayson!”
The car door slammed shut, and Grayson hit the gas so hard that the car roared down the street. I shrank into the passenger seat. The air was so tense. I didn’t even dare to breathe.
“…So how long were you waiting?” I finally asked, trying to find my voice.
He stared straight ahead, face as cold as stone. The car just kept speeding up.
“Look, I’m really sorry. I was focused on the deal, I lost track of time—”
“You should’ve stayed away from Zane Elrod,” he cut me off.
“I didn’t know about your history with him! I’m sorry. All I knew was that he’s a major client. That’s it.”
“And you danced with him, drank with him, let him get close,” he snapped. “Zane Elrod is a fucking predator. You think just because you got the contract and he’s going to leave it at that? He’s going to make you pay for it later.”
I stared at him in disbelief. “Wait…Are you seriously accusing me of quid pro quo? You bought his word? You really think I’m that kind of person?”
“I know what kind of person Zane is.”
“And I backed out the moment I got what I needed! Nothing happened. That was work, Alpha Grayson—you know that.”
He growled darkly, “And your job also includes keeping me stable. Not making things worse.”
I bit my lip, feeling a deep, aching frustration twist inside me. “So what do you want from me? Stay in my room, do nothing, and be available whenever you’re in a bad mood so you can sniff my neck and calm down?”
“If that keeps you out of trouble, sure,” he said coldly.
“So I’m just an object to you then?” I asked, voice trembling.
He didn’t respond, just pressed harder on that gas. The car swerved dangerously through traffic. My stomach churned.
By the time we got back to the hotel, I was on the verge of throwing up. I jumped out of the car the moment it stopped, ignoring the pain in my ankle, and stormed inside without even looking back.
He followed, his presence like a storm cloud right behind me.
We got into the elevator. The ride up was silent and tense, like the air was about to shatter.
Finally, the elevator reached the top floor—just the two of us on this level, with our rooms side by side.
“Good night,” I said flatly.
I turned and walked toward my door. He didn’t respond, but I could feel his eyes burning into me.
I reached my room, swiped the key card, and opened the door. Just as I stepped in, I heard footsteps.
The next second he had grabbed my arm and spun me around, pinning me against the wall.
“You really thought I’d let you walk off like that?” he growled.
“Let me go! This isn’t fair—”
But he didn’t let go.
He leaned down and kissed me.
It was a hot and rough kiss. His lips practically crashed onto mine. I gasped, and his tongue immediately seized the chance and slid into my mouth, exploring every corner of my mouth in a possessive manner.
He’s kissing me.
Grayson Hart was kissing me.
This couldn’t be real. But it was.
My heart was pounding so hard that it made my whole body shake. My knees turned soft. I could feel myself slowly sliding down. He immediately lifted me off the ground.
My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist as he carried me toward his room, his lips now trailing down to my neck.
“Did he kiss you like that?”he nibbled the sensitive area on my neck.
“No……no! I said I didn’t even know Zane……”
He slapped my butt hard, as though he’s punishing me. “And Jace Carter?”
“N-No……nobody’s like you…please.” I groaned, wiggling my butt.
He kicked his door open with one swift motion and carried me in.
Right across from the entrance was a hallway table with a vase on it. We couldn’t make it to the bed—he swept the vase off with one motion and put me down on the table.
The height was perfect. My legs dangled off the edge, instinctively tightening around his waist.
He didn’t wait for me to get undressed myself. He ripped my shirt apart in my swift move. When he buried his head to my collarbone, I felt a soft, pricking pain. I couldn’t help but throw my head back, panting and moaning.
He was rough, fierce, and dominant. But none of those were as scary as those negative emotions that I felt from his scent. I could feel that dark force closing in on me, and it made my wolf agitated.
“W-Wait.” His hand kept moving down. When his finger reached my upper thigh, I started to panic. “No stop…”
He didn’t stop.
He slipped one hand right into my panties. And without any warning or pre games, he thrusted one finger right into my pussy.
I screamed. Pleasure shot me like lightning. My mind went blank. As a virgin I’d never been through something like this. This was too much.
“No! Oh god. P-Please stop——”
“You are fucking wet,” he said, nibbling my year while breathing in my scent. And he started fingering me.
I sat on that high table with my body shaking like a leaf in the wind. I couldn’t close my legs because he was standing right in front of me, and my pussy was wide open for him.
His long finger thrusted hard and deep. Soon he added another finger. I gasped and collapsed against the wall, feeling the stretch of my inner wall.
“No, please…don’t…” I sobbed, grabbing his wrist with one hand. “I didn’t agree to this…you promised…”
“You agreed to stay close to me whenever I need you,” he growled. He curled his finger. I trembled, a gush of juice wet his finger.
“Y-Yes…But no sex. I can’t have sex with anyone before I'm married. You—You know about that. You promised. Remember?” I sobbed. My pussy was sucking his finger. I couldn’t help it.
He growled. Suddenly he seized my waist and pinned me against the wall, staring at me furiously. I looked back at him in fear. His gorgeous grey eyes had turned pitch black.
He looked like a monster. Nothing like the man I used to know.
“…But there’s something else I can do…” I whispered.
I fumbled to untie his pants. Then I placed my shaky hand on his hard cock.
