"Don't put your feet on the desk!"
"Huh?!"
"Don't you think you think that's rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?" Megane-kun scolded.
No, I don't think they have a way of knowing.
Yuki sweat dropped at the conversation.
"Nope." the other replied cockingly, his foot still on the desk.
"What junior high did you go to, you side character?"
S- side character?
With such proud posture and tone the Megane boy replied, "I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Iida Tenya."
Somei Private Academy huh?
Yuki sighed.
Why does it have to be this loud in the morning? Why am I even here? Why am I not in a support class?
"Looks like I'll have fun crushing you."
"Very heroic," Yuki whispered.
Wasn't that the feral blond during the exam?
"He looks a bit shorter in person,"
"You..." the Iida boy said almost in disbelief as he looked towards the door.
Almost simultaneously the entire class turned to look over at the green haired boy who broke most of his limbs.
I have a feeling I'll be seeing him a lot-
"Oh, Um..."
"Good Morning!" Iida shouted walking towards the now nervous looking boy.
"I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is--"
"I heard!"
Yuki looked over to his right. The seat was empty.
He looked over to his left. A boy with white hair sat there looking a bit bored and in though.
"Hey there," Yuki smiled, waving a bit to get the white haired boys attention.
The said boy glanced over to him, revealing the white haired boy was not white haired but had two colors.
"Oh," Yuki said in surprise, "My name is Satori Yuki, hope we can get along."
Extending his hand for the boy to shake.
"Todoroki Shoto," Todoroki shook Yuki's hand.
"Not the type to talk?"
"I'm not here to make friends." he stated before turning away from Yuki.
Huh? Wh-
Turning away from Todoroki, Yuki was genuinely confused.
Don't you need to have contacts if you're a hero? Dude... I could literally refuse to heal you in the future if you get on my nerves! You might not have a suitable quirk for certain situations!
Placing his head on his desk he began gumbling about how stupid that statement was and if everyone in the class had the same type of mind set.
"Okay, it took eight seconds before you were quiet." a voice came from the entrance.
Glancing up he saw a tall, yellow, bug like standing there. Emerging from it was a person dressed in black.
"Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough."
Is that our homeroom teacher?
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota. Nice to meet you."
Yep.
A gasp of shock came from the class.
"It's kind of sudden, but put this on and go out onto the field." Aizawa pulled out the U.A. gym uniform.
NO! Not exercise in the morning!
"A Quirk assessment test?!"
Pardon, sir. I don't believe my quirk is suited for this type of exam.
Yuki mentally cried as he knew that most quirk assessments were physical.
"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" a girl in the front asked.
Yuki took a glance at the field.
Yup. Physical assessment.
"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events."
Yuki subconsciously nodded recalling all the things that were basically useless in terms of having quirks.
"U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes."
Aizawa turned to face the class.
"You kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right?" he asked, holding up a device.
"Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating."
It really isn't but it makes me feel better about my physical strength.
"Bakugo, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right?"
THAT'S THE FUCKING NERD?!
Yes, Yuki was still a bit salty that he placed second in his year but to find out that the blonde feral looking gremlin and the one who beat him are the same person, really made him wonder what type person he was.
"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"
"67 meter."
Seriously? I only managed 58
"Then, try doing it with your quirk."
Yuki was beginning to get nervous, no doubt most of the class had quirks combat-based. He was not planning on having to embarrass himself on the first day.
"You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle. Hurry up. Give is all you've got." Aizawa told him.
Should I cover my ears? What about the dirt, it'll cause a dust cloud no doubt.
Yuki quickly covered his ear as he stared at Bakugo preparing to throw the ball.
"DIE...!"
"What the fuck," Yuki whispered as he saw the explosion, sending the ball flying with a trace of fire following close behind.
"Know your own maximum first." a beep sounded off as the ball fell in the distance.
How are they gonna get that back...
"That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero." Aizawa finished off by showing the results.
"I am going to die." Yuki nodded confidently to himself.
705 meters? Oh man. God please grant me with sudden physical strength.
"What is this? It looks like fun!"
"We can use our quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!"
Seriously?! Oh yeah, people my age are supposed to have that mentality...
"It looks fun," huh?" Aizawa repeated a bit grimly.
"You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?"
A wicked grin then came over his face. "All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion."
I'm FUCKED!
"Huh?!"
Kami-sama please... that supper strength? Even if it's just a bit. I could definitely use it right now.
Yuki felt like fainting. What did he expect? To stay locked away in the nurse's office for all three years?! Yes, that would have been the best possible outcome.
"We're free to do what we want about the circumstances of our students."
Yuki felt a cold shiver run down his back upon seeing Aizawa's face.
"Welcome to U.A.'s hero course!"
Sweet honey ice tea. How am I gonna have to break the news to Chiyo- sensei.
"Last place will be expelled? But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair!"
The practical exam was unfair. It's part of life.
"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted. Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to go to talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years, U.A. will do all it can to give you one hardship after another.
Go beyond. Plus Ultra."
He had to admit, that damn man had a way with motivational speeches.
"Overcome it with all you've got."
Now that I think about it, I've never tried using my quirk as a weapon.
"All right, demonstrations over. The real thing starts now."
