ZANDER'S POV
"Something is bothering you, Zander," Ushi pointed out. He was right, I was worried about Amy and what she planned on doing when she comes. I was just relieved that we left before she arrived.
I was trying not to think about her, I didn't want Hazel to pick up on my discomfort.
"It's nothing to worry about. I am just worried about my mate and my pack."
"It must be nice to have a mate," he sighed and then he downed the rest of his drink.
"Don't worry. You will find her soon."
"I hope so - I really hope so," he got up and left to go lay down on one of the beds.
I watched as Hazel comforted her aunt. Isis was chatting away with James as he drove us to where Isis said we needed to be.
The guys were doing some kind of fuckery - I couldn't tell.
I sighed and I looked through the window. The snow was still high on the roads, but the sun was bright and beautiful.
Maybe I could close my eyes and get some rest. Isis said it would take us a few hours to get to the entrance.
As I was about to close my eyes, Rollo's voice came screaming in my head. 'Alpha! Where are you?'
'We left for Serpent's Valley 20 minutes ago. What's wrong?'
'Amy arrived at the packhouse a few minutes before me and when she couldn't find you, she attacked Allen and Topher, but they're alright. She managed to escape. I think she might have picked up your scent and followed it - she's on her way to you.'
How the fuck did she pass my guards?
'Fuck! Thank you, Rollo. Stay there with Duncan and keep the pack safe. I'll take it from here.'
'Sure thing Alpha.'
I opened the packlink to Carson and Declan. I looked over to Hazel and saw her sleeping in her aunt's lap.
'We have trouble,' I told my guys.
Carson wolf sped over to where I sat, alerting Dimitri and Ushi.
"What's wrong?" Carson was in beta mode. I could feel his strength seeping from his veins.
We spoke in whisper tones. "It's Amy - she's coming for me," I stated.
"Bollocks. The red-haired she-devil is coming here?" Dimitri chuckled. "I knew she was trouble."
"Alpha, if she learns that you're married and mated - she could kill Luna," Carson gasped.
"Nobody is killing our Luna," Declan said calmly as he perched next to Ushi.
"So what's the plan?" Ushi questioned.
I informed him to mind-link James and have him pass the information to Isis. I didn't want Hazel to know because of the problems she'd been having to control her powers.
The last thing I needed was my mate exploding from a power overload.
I saw Isis looking over to us, so I knew the message got to her.
"You know I can read minds?" Julia said as she pulled a blanket over Hazel's sleeping body. Then she came over to us. "So this Amy was what - your girlfriend?"
"No - she was just convenience at the time," I scoffed.
"And now she's become an inconvenience? Men," she shook her head.
A gut-drenching howl was heard and then with a loud bang, we felt the RV shook.
"She's here," Isis whispered.
Amy's wolf smashed into the side once more, almost sending us off the snowy road.
"Should I pull over?" James questioned.
"No, not yet."
She rammed the side again, this time sending Hazel rolling to the floor.
"What the hell! Dad, I thought you said you're a great driver," she cursed. Declan was closest to her so he hurried over and helped her to her feet. He kept his eyes on me while I kept mine on where his fingers touched my mate.
"Oh! Shit," James yelled out. He plunged his foot on the brakes, sending us all rolling around in the back. I held on firm to the rails while the others plummeted to the ground.
"Is everyone alright?" I called out.
They all answered yes.
My eyes zoned in on Hazel lying on her back with her hair sprawled over her face, she was laughing and sure, I would have found it funny if that asshole Declan wasn't lying on top of her giggling like a schoolboy while moving the hair from my mate's face.
I sped over and clutched him by the back of his collar and sent him sailing to the back of the RV.
"Ouch!" He cried.
The others said nothing as I cradled Hazel in my hands.
"MINEEE," I rumbled out. I smashed my lips against hers, tasting her; marking her with my lips.

"Alpha, you need to see this," James broke me from the kiss. I settled Hazel on her feet while Carson and I walked to the front of the RV.
"Is that Amy's wolf Priscilla?" Carson asked as he studied the red-eye she-wolf who was growling and howling in the middle of the road.
That's why James stopped so abruptly, he didn't want to hit her.
"Yes, that's Priscilla."
"She looks so wild - so -" Carson couldn't finish.

"Holy Fuck man. She was already fucking crazy - like axe murderer crazy, now she is feral. We will have to kill her - if she finds out about luna, you know she will try and hurt her. What will we do Alpha, what will we do?"
"Carson, just let me think."
"We don't have time to think Alpha. You remember what she did to Brenda? Well if you don't want her skinning Luna alive, I think we should kill her and call it a day."
I thought about what Carson said and even though it may be true. I blamed myself for what happened to her.
We watched as she transformed into a naked Amy. She walked up to the front of the RV and jumped on the bonnet.
James lowered his head as Amy gave us a full show of what's between her legs.
"At least we know she is a natural redhead," Carson announced as he took in the red bush that was covering her pussy.
Gidian grunted with disgust at Carson's statement but I was getting used to it. My beta was a perv and there was nothing I could do to change that.

"No Carson. She'll think I don't trust her if I take anyone with me. I need to go out there alone."
He agreed.

I took Hazel's hands and I kissed them. "Carson will explain things to you. I love you little kitten."
She didn't answer she just nodded her head and hugged me.

I walked to the front of the vehicle and Amy jumped off the hood and stood in front of me.
"My love, why did you leave me?" She pouted.
"I told you I would come back for you," I stated calmly. I looked to the RV and saw that everyone including Hazel was watching us through the windscreen.
"Yeah, but I missed you, baby," she purred as she stalked closer to me.
