"What are you hiding, James?" Julia asked. James was so taken with her question he almost swerved off the road. "Easy, are you trying to get us killed?" Julia held her chest as she settled in the chair behind him.
"I thought I was the only one who sensed it," Isis added. She was sitting in the passenger's seat.
"Is it that obvious?"
"I'm a telepath, I can tell you're hiding something - so you might as well tell me before I fish it from your head - I was told by a few werewolves that it hurts," Julia giggled.
"I'm afraid if Hazel finds out she'll hate me."
"I raised that girl and she has the biggest most forgiving heart in the world, plus she could never hate you, James. You're her hero - you know she cried every night for three years after you disappeared."
James' eyes got teary. "And I didn't remember her, I couldn't," he sniffled. "Someone did this to us - to her."
"Now, now James. All will be revealed soon," Isis said. "I've been working on a potion that will allow me to enter your memory and go back to the moment before your attack - I think there is something you might have missed."
"Ok, when will we do this?" He asked.
"When we get back to the mansion," Isis replied. "Now tell us what you're afraid of telling Hazel?"
"I have a seven-year-old son named Elijah."
"That's your secret? Hazel will be thrilled to know she has a brother," Julia laughed.
"That's not the part I'm worried about. I'm set to marry his mother at the end of January."
"Oh dear Hecate!" Isis huffed.
"Yeah, and his mother is Ushi's older sister, Sue-Ling."
"James I'd advise you to keep this from Hazel for a few more days, at least till we get her powers under control," Isis warned. Julia and James agreed.
James' nose started to itch as a very unique and powerful smell hit him. "What is that smell?" He shouted. "It's burning my eyes and nose." James pulled the RV to the side of the road and jumped outside for some fresh air.
"What is happening?" Julia asked as she noticed Declan's and Ushi's eyes got pitch black.
Ushi was the first one who peeled off towards Hazel's and Zander's room.
"FUCK! Dimitri grab him!" Carson shouted.
In super speed, Dimitri dashed before him and blocked his way before he could rip the door off.
Declan was fighting it. "I need to go outside, Carson - help." Carson grabbed a hold of his hand and led him outside.
Dimitri dragged Ushi outside behind them.
"Again I ask, what the hell is going on?" Julia yelled.
"It's Luna, she's - " Carson looked over to James.
"She's what Carson?" James asked.
"Man, don't let me say this to you, it's awkward. Aren't you a werewolf didn't you smell that just now?"
"Yes, I smelt something awful, it made me feel sick," James scoffed.
"Interesting," Dimitri added.
Declan had his hands in his pockets as he glued his eyes to the RV. He hated himself for wanting his Alpha's mate so badly.
Ushi coughed. "Why does she smell so good? My wolf and I had never come across such unique arousal before and she's not even a she-wolf."
James tensed. "That was Hazel's arousal?"
"Yeah, but since I'm mated, it doesn't affect me, but for Declan and Ushi, they're fucked," Carson sighed.
"But, why couldn't I control myself? She is mated, she shouldn't be in heat." Ushi was confused.
"Hazel is special, and her powers are now heightened since she's mated to Alpha Zander, everything else is also heightened," Isis explained. "She doesn't need to be in heat to attract werewolves, in other words, she'll always smell desirable to unmated wolves. Except for her kin," Isis looked over to James.
"I think we should wait out here for an hour or two," Carson suggested.
"Two hours? My respect just went up a point," Dimitri chuckled.
Carson grabbed the blankets for the ladies while Isis conjured up a fire.
"They should be done by 1 or 2 am," Carson said as he sat next to Isis.
"I think I'll take Maddox for a run," Declan added as he jogged towards the woods.
"What's his problem?" James asked.
"He's in love with Luna," Carson replied as he opened the bag of marshmallows. "Who want s'mores?"
Meanwhile Hazel and Zander were getting down and dirty.
"Hazel, I'll never keep secrets from you again!" Zander moaned as he kissed his wife's lips.
The passion charred through her body, his breath was hot against her skin. "Zander, I need you."
"Kitten, your scent, it's sending Gidian and me into a frenzy," he grunted.
His hands roamed over the curvature of her body. Hazel reclined on the bed and crawled until her back hit the window of the RV.
Zander gradually crawled on the bed and mounted his massive frame over her tiny body. He pinned her arms above her head and he sucked on her collar bone, trailing his tongue over his mark. "Please Zander," she begged. "I want you."

The couple cleaned up and got dressed. They were surprised to notice the RV was empty. They didn't even realise they had stopped a few hours ago.
They headed outside.
As soon as Carson and Dimitri saw them, they stood to their feet.
"Well done! Well done!" Dimitri clapped and Carson joined in. "Two hours and eleven minutes," Dimitri beamed.
"Am I missing something?" Hazel questioned.
"Nope, you're not Luna," Carson laughed.
"Why is everyone out here? Why aren't we at Serpents Valley by now?" Zander roared.
Isis was the one who explained.
"Oh," Hazel hung her head in shame. "I'm sorry Dad, aunt Jules."
James kissed her forehead. "No need to apologise."
"It's a part of life," Julia chuckled.
"Ok, who are you and what have you done to Aunty Jules?" Hazel giggled.
They were all having a good time when Zander's eyes glossed over. "FUCK!" He exclaimed.
"What's wrong, Alpha?" Declan asked as he came back from his run. He pulled his shirt over his head as he forced himself to ignore Hazel.
"It's Gerry - he's in a coma."
