                    DECLAN'S POV
"That's my pal, live in the moment." Dimitri squealed. "This could be it, a werewolf and a zombie. A love story for the history books."
"Declan you horny bastard, I would pat you on the back if I had hands. Go on you brave motherfucker," Carson cheered.
'I hope you know what you're doing,' Maddox gulped.
I just needed Mitsy to answer some questions. It was clear she also needed to tell me something important.
I took the slug and bat and rested them on the counter.
"I'll be right back," I told them.
The announcer seemed like he was about to choose a fat clown, I hurriedly walked over and grabbed the clown by the back of his collar and threw him behind me.
He went crashing into some undead behind me.
"This lap dance belongs to me," I growled and the crowd went wild.
"Give it up for the wolfman," the announcer's voice echoed around the club.
I stepped on the stage and sat on the cold, uncomfortable iron chair.
Mitsy smiled and started to sway her hips to Marilyn Manson's Tainted Love.
She held her breasts and gave them a little squeeze, then she did a little hair flip before she sat on my lap.
She rotated her hips a bit. She slowly ran her palms over my arm muscles, trailing her hands down until she reached my wrists. She grabbed onto them and placed them on her hips. "Hold me," she said sultrily.
So I squeezed onto her hips. Her flesh was soft, I felt my fingers sinking into the wetness. Maddox cringed, but I held my ground. "Like this?" I asked as I helped to rock her back and forth on my lap.
She gasped, she was a little surprised by my forwardness. Then her arousal infiltrated my nose again.
"Yes, just like that," she breathed against my ear as she lowered her head to the crook of my neck. She grabbed a lump of my hair and she pulled it hard.
I felt her cold tongue running across my skin.
'She's gonna bite us!' Maddox whimpered.
The crowd was yelling.
"Bite him!"
"Eat the wolfman!"
A tiny voice yelled, "Fuck him!"
Carson was so fucking disgusting.
"Don't trust Skully," Mitsy let out. My body tensed. "He's working with King Lucifer."
I knew it.
"How'd you know this?"
"Michelle, the ghoul I was talking to earlier, told me that Skully and Diana are using my dressing room to talk to King Lucifer so I wouldn't have access until they're done," she explained. "I usually clean up myself a little before my routine."
"King Lucifer is here?" I boomed.
"Shh, stay calm. No he's not. They communicate with him somehow."
"I see. What else Michelle told you?" I relaxed.
"Nothing much. She just said you are one hot werewolf," she chuckled. I blushed.
"So how did you know I am enemies with Lucifer?" I was curious.
"Every creature here knows about The great Demon Wolf and his Mate and the Dark Witches attacking and slaughtering packs." She pulled back and stared into my eyes. I could tell she was once a beautiful girl.
"Tell me Mitsy, how were you turned into this?"
Her eyes got sad as she spoke. "I was always bullied in high school. I had no friends and my family barely gave me the time of day. I got depressed and I thought about killing myself, but one day the hottest guy I've ever seen saw me walking alone towards Meadowbrook bridge. He offered me a ride and I knew better than to take rides from strangers but I thought, hey maybe he could kill me so I wouldn't have to do it myself." She chuckled. "Turned out this guy talked me out of committing suicide. He was so nice and he made me feel beautiful. He even asked to hang out with me."
"Oh, so he was a zombie?" I asked.
"No, he was a gentleman. And as I said he was the hottest guy I've ever met. The day before our meetup, I went shopping for a dress. It got late and it started to rain. I didn't have an umbrella or money for a cab so I ran into the first building I saw for shelter. It was one of those fortune tellers' places. The fortune teller was dressed in a skeleton costume and he had the most beautiful voice I ever heard. He told me he sensed my distress and he told me things about myself that nobody knew. I was stunned. He promised to make me beautiful if I signed some contract. The payment said I would work for him for eternity, but I thought it was a joke so I entertained him by signing the damn thing. The next thing I knew, I was strapped to a chair and a zombie was slashing my throat open and feasting on my neck."
"What the fuck! Skully did this to you?"
"Yes. And I've been working as a Zombie stripper ever since. I don't even know how I got to this place or how long I've been here - but I always thought about that guy who I was supposed to hang out with. I never thought I'd see him again - until now."
"Wait! He's here?" I cocked a brow.
"Yes Declan, you are."
"Me?"
"You don't remember a skinny nerdy brown hair girl you picked up once in your truck?" She asked. "You commented on the drawings on my bag, they were of wolves?"
Then it hit me. I remembered I was driving, trying to free my mind on the backroads two years ago when the scent of sadness hit me and I saw a sad-looking girl walking alone and I offered her a ride. "Nancy?"
"Yes, that was my name when I was alive."
Then the soul in the counter came back to me. "It's your soul over there in that counter!"
"Yes, Major Skully keeps all his victim's souls there. They're like his trophies or something."
"That cruel bastard."
"Declan, just promise me you won't do anything stupid. Right now a lot of us are counting on your group to defeat King Lucifer so our souls can be set free and we can finally be at peace. Some of us are trapped here and we don't deserve to be."
Maddox and I promised her we will set her free.
She then took out a pouch from her pants pocket and handed it to me. "Word on the street you're looking for zombie's eyes," she whispered in my ear. "Quick, put them in your pockets and whatever you do, don't use the ones Major Skully will give to you," she warned.
She finished her lap dance and the crowd booed, they wanted to see her tear into me.
"Goodbye Declan," she muttered and then she hurried off the stage.
I didn't waste another minute.
'Alpha? Alpha?' I mind-linked Zander immediately.
'Yes, what is it?' He asked. I told him everything I learned except for Caron and Dimitri turning into a bat and a slug of course. 'Ok, thank you for telling me. You, Carson and Dimitri, should get to us ASAP. Meet me at the mansion at the far end of the town. It should be a 20 to 30 minutes walk and oh bring Skully with you. Don't give him any idea that you know he's working for Lucifer.'
'Ok Alpha.'
I went back over to Carson and Dimitri and I relayed the info to them.
Skully came back 10 minutes later. "I got your eyeballs fellows. Now let's go find your Alpha."
"Yeah, let's go find him," I said through gritted teeth.
The evil bone man held the door open for us to exit.
Into the dark night we crowded towards the mansion that's on the edge of town.
My mind was on Nancy and all the other souls that were trapped in that place.
I was now more focused than ever.
Creatures from all walks of life and death were counting on us to save them all.
