                    ???'s POV
The distinct change in atmosphere was immediately apparent. The cave's hot, dry climate was an abrupt contradiction to the fresh, cool air our heroes left behind outside. Hazel wrinkled her nose against the musty smell permeating the air of this place.
They followed behind Layla and ventured deeper into the rock-strewn cavern. Zander was worried about how Hazel would react when she sees what was taking place inside. He didn't have the time to tell the others what he and James saw when they entered the cave earlier. Hazel's mind-link barrier was too weak, so all telepathic communications with her were weakened.
Suddenly, a flock of winged-creatures swept across the apex of the cave, producing screeching shrieks that rang through the whole cavern. Everyone except Layla and Declan, who still had an unconscious Seraphina in his arms, knelt with their hands covering their heads. They kept absolutely still until the raging horde of bats finally subsided, and everything was unruffled again.
"Look, Dimitri. There goes your new tribe," Carson joked.
"If that was supposed to be an insult, you failed miserably." Dimitri yawned.
As they shuffled further into the cave, Zander's palms became like magnets as they traced the cavern's even walls. He heard tiny cracking sounds along with the sounds of their own breaths and footsteps. It was torturous to Gidian. He hated invading an alien land and not knowing a thing about its inhabitants. Dragons were never spoken of much in their pack. For all Gidian knew, they were extinct.
Zander cleared his throat and looked down at Hazel's face. His neck got sweaty as he tried to warn his wife.
"Kitten, don't be too alarmed about what you are about to see."
She looked at him, all stunned, probably wondering what he was talking about. She was too tired to ask questions so she nodded her head, and Zander released his breath, thinking she understood his worries.
They continued to venture even deeper into the tunnelling grotto and unknowingly realized that it was getting much warmer. Then, a crackling sound of fire became apparent as they hobbled across the pebbly ground. Hot, scorching lava, streamed below the surface, causing the ground to heat up. The tapping of dripping water was also heard as they tip-toed in consternation that the ground would give way. They watched as Layla squeezed through the thin crevice that led into a large hall.
They followed her and slipped between the cracks, too.
Julia knew the inside of the volcano was going to be warm, but the heat was on full blast. Being a direct descendant of the Sun God Helios made it bearable for her and Hazel, and for some reason, Julia liked the heat.
The werewolves, however, were parched. Zander and Declan were dripping in sweat from head to toe. Their skins were glistening, and their hair was matted to their heads.
"I wish I had a jug of ice water to chug on," Declan uttered. Sweat rolled down his forehead and into his eyeballs. Julia sensed the slight burning tinge it caused him as he blinked away the salty liquid.
"This heat is making it difficult for me to breathe," Zander let out. "If Isis was here, she'd snap her fingers and summon bottles of chilled water for us to drink."
They heard a rumble like the volcano was about to explode. They proceeded with caution.
"It does that sometimes, but do not worry. This volcano is dormant," Layla explained.
They took her word for it and followed her deeper into the cave around the last bend. The heat in the air was maximized.
The scent of pussy juice and pulsating dicks stained the atmosphere. A thick cloud of steam covered the room, like steam from an asana.
"Jesus Christ of Nazareth!" Julia took the Lord's name in vain as her eyes adjusted to the hazy environment.
Declan's cheeks were redder than they'd ever been in his entire life, and poor Hazel was blushing harder than she'd ever done before.
"Welcome to the Dragon Tavern," Layla said as she walked towards a man with ash blonde locks. He was plunging his dick into a brown-haired woman while he spoke to another.
It appalled Julia. I mean she was disgusted, but for some reason, she was also aroused. It brought her back to her first years in college before she became a pastor's wife.
The crew looked to their left, and bodies of naked dragons were rolling along the slippery slopes of the walls. Conjoined by their mouths and crotch. Pussies were being filled by massive dicks and scorching tongues. Cocks were getting deepthroated and balls were being fondled and teabagged.
A hub of bodies was entangled in the middle of the floor. Not even the Moon Goddess could tell which limbs belonged to whom.
One couple in particular caught Hazel's eyes. A curly-haired woman was standing on her hands, her feet wrapped around a muscular blonde man's waist, while he pumped into her centre from that angle.
"Oh my," Hazel whispered, dropping her gaze to her feet as she refused to look any further. Her heart rate skyrocketed as her body flushed.
"I'm sorry, Kitten, but I did warn you," Zander smiled.
"Wait! This was why your heart rate spiked earlier. I thought you found trouble," Hazel sighed, and Zander chuckled.
The others looked to their right, and a woman was bent on her hands and knees, ass spread wide while a tall, slender Dragon was ramming his dick inside her while another slender man, with a blonde Mohawk, was feeding her his dick, fucking her throat.
None of the fucking-couples seemed to care that they now had company. The screeching wails of the satisfied dragons captured the atmosphere.
Their moans and groans were like a synchronized choir as they sang out their pleasure.
"This is a nice fuck den," Carson praised. He couldn't wait to get his dick back so he could have mind-link sex with his mate, Gabrielle.
