                    ???'s POV
King Lucifer stood there, listening to what this human was telling him. A human he allied with some years ago and who helped him to devise a plan to control the world of the supernatural.
Lucifer knew this human loathed him, since he, too, was a supernatural creature. A dark wizard, to be exact, but Lucifer knew this human was too weak to challenge him.
"His name is Gerard Smith, and he is a bitten." The human spoke with disdain, catching Lucifer's attention. Bernard Delaware hated he had to succumb to this piece of grime who hailed himself a king. But he felt the League of Hunters was not ready to take on the great Dark Wizard. Right then they needed Lucifer's help in defeating the Wolf Pond Pack. But Lucifer didn't see the usefulness of hearing about this bitten wolf until Bernard added, "He is a part of the Demon wolf's pack."
With a cunning grin, Lucifer twirled around to meet Bernard's gaze. "Is that so? Tell me everything that went down."
So, Bernard Delaware informed King Lucifer about the incidents that took place at the Hunter's Ball, except the part where they injected werewolf's blood in their veins to gain supernatural powers. Lucifer was more interested to learn that there was another White Witch, besides his step-daughter Isis. That information shocked him. He sent out a few of his guards to survey the Wolf's Pond Pack. Then he zoned out the rambling of Bernard. After the death of his daughters, Agnes and Agatha, Lucifer's spell of control had been weakened since he didn't have Agnes, who was the best at whipping up proper batches of evil elixirs.
He grunted when Bernard revealed to him that the chosen one and his mate were on a journey to locate Zoey. He got pissed. How did they find out the she-wolf was even alive? Plus, this wasn't supposed to be so easy for the chosen one, and that blasted mate of his. They were supposed to be captured by the centaurs in Serpents Valley. Gaylord was expected to trick them into trusting him and when their guards were down, then the Centaurs were supposed to send out a signal so that Lucifer could capture them and take them to his hideout. But no, the centaurs had to let their dicks get in the way.
Lucifer set up more barricades in their way, but at every juncture, they always seemed to work their way through. Now, Lucifer was upset after Major Skully told him they were headed to the Dragon Realm just days after he captured the strongest dragon he could find.
But the dragon's damn dragonflame blood kept burning off the control spell faster than the rogues that were under spell, so the dragon escaped and flew back to his realm, but Lucifer and his goons caught him just when he was flying over the little people's village, after a mighty struggle, Lucifer managed to regain control of the dragon and then have him set fire on the biggest cottage he could see.
Lucifer was just pissed and moody and everything else in between.
"King Lucifer," the annoying red-haired she-wolf entered.
"Yes, my dear?" Lucifer answered, gritting his teeth so hard it was causing a headache. He had been using all his restraint to not kill this she-wolf.
"Well, the prisoners want food—meat..."
"Says who?" Lucifer cut them off. "I say when they should eat and when they should not."
"Well, the dragon said they are hungry."
"The dragon?"
"Yes."
"How rude of me," the wicked man spoke. "Excuse me Beres, I have some prisoners to feed."
"It's Bernard, sir." Bernard corrected.
"You two," Lucifer pointed at the two wizards that were guarding his office. "Go tell the cook to send large portions of meat to the dungeons. I'm also feeling for exotic fish and curried goat." Lucifer laughed. "Don't forget the wine," he spoke as he folded his hands behind his back. "Barry, wait here. Amy, you can come with me. We are feasting with our captives tonight."
Bernard rolled his eyes. King Lucifer called him a different name every couple of minutes.
With his hands tucked behind his back, Lucifer established his way down to the dungeons. His rubber boots were heavy on the steps as he slithered his way down. He was whistling now, a tune that sounded so sickly, it caused his captives' ears to bleed. The mad she-wolf was following behind him, a sinister grin frozen on her pale, boney face.
Zoey stood protectively before the others. They were huddling in the dark. They held their breaths and waited for Lucifer's face to appear in view.
"Come out, come out wherever you are!" Lucifer said in a singsong voice. He extended his hand and used his nails to scrape over the surface of the rough wall, causing a noise that resembled nails on a chalkboard. "I heard my guests are hungry!" He waited, but he didn't hear a sound. His eyes surveyed the area until they caught the latest captive that had seized his interest. In a blink, he was looming over the dragon. "So this is how you look without the scales," Lucifer examined Ignatholon. "I hear you are hungry." Lucifer cracked his knuckles while his views landed on the healing wound on his chest. Lucifer's face got dull with frustration and anger. He could sense the magic used to help the dragon."Who did this?" He wanted to know. Igna heaved and braced for any harm that Lucifer might rain on his weak meat suit. "OK then, I see I'll have to do things the hard way, and I don't like doing things the hard way." He removed a dagger from the inside of his trench coat. "You see this dragon boy —" he shoved the tip of the blade up to Igna's face. Igna scuttled backward, and Lucifer grabbed him by the back of the neck. "This blade was forged with witches' bones and dipped in dark witches' blood. Did you know that a dark witch or wizard's blood is poison to a dragon?" Lucifer licked the tip of the dagger, ensuring it split the tip of his tongue. The dark, thick liquid that was black as Lucifer's heart coated the knife. Igna shuffled some more, trying to keep his dragon at bay. "So if I do this," Lucifer attempted to cut him.
"Stop!" Zoey roared, appearing from the shadows. Titus grabbed Zoey's wrist, pulling her back a bit.
"Where are you going?" The snake man asked. He was terrified that what happened to the other captives would happen to Zoey. There were more of them there a few weeks ago, like his frontman Barnabas, who was like family to him. The red-headed she-wolf dragged him off only a few days ago. They did the same thing to a witch named Sadie and a mermaid called Rue. They never came back, and Titus feared the worst.
"It's OK Titus, he won't hurt me," Zoey nodded.
