"What? You all have been staring at me as if I am a stranger," I said coldly.
"So all these years you were yearning to be loved and cared for by your own mate, she wasn't even born? Like that's something you rarely see or hear of. Oh my goodness, how's it even possible that she turned out to be your lover's kid! Did you by any chance offend the moon goddess in your life?" Felix asked, annoying me.
"Are you making fun of me right now, Samantha?" I asked back seriously.
"She's not doing that intentionally, it's just that we are all very shocked. Who could have known that your mate was human too," Jeannie answered.
"Look, I would appreciate it if you guys kept this from Ian and Whitney. I don't want them to be involved in my personal business," I said as Felix raised a brow and then chuckled in a mocking tone.
"You don't get to tell me what to do or what not to do," she answered as I moved to the edge of the couch.
"I am not telling you Felix, I am asking you to keep it to yourself. I don't want to worry anyone, please," I begged earnestly.
"Do you think you can seriously hide a mate? If that were possible, most werewolves could have done that. A mate bond and pull is one not to play with. "Look, all I know is that I love Teresa, and I have loved her for quite some time now. I love her smile, maturity, and the way she cares for me.
