Kyle's POV
"You seriously ate the grapes?" Ordain asked with a raised brow.
"Yes, I'm sorry," I answered calmly.
After that fall, I was very concerned about Yuki, but then when we decided to rest, the place felt magical, and all I could hear and feel were the sounds of nature, our heartbeats, and beautiful tingles spreading throughout my body.
The moment we shared was one I couldn't describe properly, but I felt so much at peace and loved the silence we had.
We ended up eating the grapes and staying there longer than we had planned. When we came back, it was afternoon, and Ordain was busy preparing lunch.
Philippe took me to where the bathroom was and let me take a bath while Yuki helped Ordain whenever June wanted her attention.
When I was done bathing, I was given a new set of clothes, and Ordain took Yuki to take a bath while Philippe and I continued preparing the rest of the food. Cooking wasn't as hard because there were a few times I had helped my mother, and it was fun.
After Yuki's bath, the food was ready, so we ate. Philippe went out without telling us anything, and we were left with Ordain chatting. When we told her about the fall and how we ate the grapes, she was very surprised.
"I wondered why you came back empty-handed; I just didn't want to ask," she said, then looked out the window.
The sun was setting, and it was getting late.
I was supposed to find a way to get back to the pack or at least let everyone know that we were here, yet I wasn't doing that. The place had a way of making us forget our problems and just live in the moment.
"Yuki, tomorrow we will be going back. I'm pretty sure everyone must be worried sick," I said seriously.
She sighed heavily and then stood up from the couch.
"I know; it's just that this place feels like..."
"I understand what you are about to say because I feel it too, but no matter what, tomorrow we are supposed to leave," I said, cutting her off, and then I stood up.
"Excuse me, can you both come with me?" Ordain asked as she got to her feet with June.
"Yeah, sure," I answered.
She smiled and then went outside.
I extended my hand to Yuki, who quickly took it.
"Let's go," I said and then went out.
As we walked past the plant field, I began wondering where we were going, and I was becoming very concerned, but then we saw it: three hot springs, a bonfire, and a stream further away where Philippe was standing.
"Welcome to our own little spa," Ordain said loudly.
Yuki looked at me and then began stripping. I wanted to look away and be a gentleman, but I couldn't. My eyes were on her body and each movement she made.
"Philippe is coming our way," Ordain informed us.
"Yuki," I called in warning.
"If you want me to hide my body, you should take off your clothes and join me in the hot spring. You know you have such broad shoulders," she said teasingly and then quickly rushed to the hot spring and got in.
"She is such fun," Ordain said happily.
"Yes, she is,” I answered with a smile.
"Ordain, if you don't mind, can you turn? I want to strip and join her," I said.
"Oh my," she whispered and then turned.
I walked to where Yuki was and took everything off. She gasped loudly and then covered her eyes.
"Oh my goodness, Kyle!" she screamed when I got in.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"You... oh my goodness, why did I see that huge thing?" she asked in a whiny tone, making me laugh.
"You know, if you want to even the score with me, you can take off your bikini or whatever you call it," I said.
She dropped her hands and then glared at me.
"I refuse to get naked, and this is not a bikini. Ordain was kind enough to give me a new bra and panty, which she was serving for herself," she answered.
"You are so not romantic," I teased playfully.
"I am too, just not in front of people," she answered in a low tone, making me smirk.
When I turned to look at Ordain, she wasn't where she had been standing.
I looked at Philippe and then smiled. He was by the fire with Ordain, showing her a fish that was on a hook.
They looked so happy that I was now wondering if making them go back to the pack was a good idea.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Yuki asked softly.
"Those two look so happy living here," I answered seriously.
"I know, that's why I feel bad that we said all that. I mean, what will happen if they become gloomy pack members once they return to the pack? Will the blame be on us?" she asked.
"Exactly, that's why I now feel conflicted. Maybe we should let them stay," I answered.
"You are right," she whispered and then looked at them.
"This is so amazing! I have never had such a fun, wonderful date in all my life," she said and then quickly looked at me.
"Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have ever gone on one. It's just that I have read and watched shows where..."
"Yuki, relax. I am not upset, and I know you have never gone out on a date. If you had, Lui would have told me," I answered.
"Well, what if I had while you were at the training camp?" she asked.
I wanted to say that it wouldn't have been a big deal, but I didn't want to lie.
"I would be very sad and a little upset with the bastard who was bold enough to make a move on you," I answered honestly.
She giggled and surprised me when she stood up, wrapped her arms around my shoulders, and leaned in.
"Careful," I said loudly when she brushed her nose against the side of my neck, making me swallow hard.
"Think of sad thoughts, very bad memories," I said to myself silently.
"I love you," she whispered as my heart began to beat rapidly.
“Don't respond; she must have said it on impulse because of the moment. You like her a lot, but that's when you are getting to love her, so just laugh it off,” my wolf said.
Unlike me, he sincerely was head over heels for her despite her upsetting actions that went on in my pack.
“Was lying to her the best option? Or was I seriously going to laugh it off?”
Those were the thoughts going through my mind. They were both awful, and I didn't want to ruin the moment.
I hugged her tightly in my arms.
"I love you too," I answered softly and then smiled.
I was going to love her whether I wanted to or not because she was who I wanted to spend my future with.
She pulled back, and we both looked up when fireworks began to be displayed by Ordain.
"June loves fireworks; I hope you don't mind," she screamed loudly.
"No, we love them too," Yuki answered loudly.
I grabbed Yuki by the waist and moved her between my parted legs, resting my head against her shoulders.
I knew I was going to be aroused, but I wasn't going to do something that would ruin the moment. I was just going to embrace the woman I cared for and enjoy our time.
It was so obvious that Ordain and Philippe were acting like our date's fairy godparents, and it was cute and very funny.
"Oh shit, we forgot our braai stand! You guys stay put; Ordain, come with me!" Philippe said loudly, making me grin.
They surely were our date's fairy godparents.
