EMILY POV:
I sigh before knocking on the brown door with my breaths getting difficult than the previous.
“Where's your boss?” I asked the cleaner and she greeted before replying that she was in..
“I would inform her of your presence," She said, and she walked out ekyh hurried steps.
“Wow. You came visiting, what happened and why?" Tessy asked, smiling as she walked closer to me with a worried expression on her face.
“I don't like what's happening and we need to do something about it, before it gets to late. Why haven't your henchwoman brought Lena like I asked them to? We fucking paid for the job and I need the service of what I paid for to be carried out," I shouted, banging my hands on the table.
“Oh my. You need to calm down, you won't expect her to make mistakes and get herself into much bigger problem than this. She have been carrying out my dirty jobs, and she should know better than. You need to calm down please," She said, coming closer as she tapped my back in a bid to soothe my ragging heart.
I wanted more than anything to get Lena out of the way, I was supposed to be the one with Domino and not her.
I have been planning for this for three years now, and she managed to ruin everything I worked for in one night.
I knew she didn't plan for this,but why couldn't she listen to me when I subtly told her not to get married to him as he was bad news.
“Fine. If you say so, but I want this to be carried out as soon as possible to avoid any trace leading back to us. I need to get back what belongs to me, and Lena is the only obstacle I have right now.
Not for long, if she doesn't get killed by your men. Then you would watch how I would use the gun on her myself.”
“I'm always with you in whatever you want to do. You are my best friend even though you haven't been giving me the flowers I deserve,” Tessy joked, and we laughed..
"Do you want anything? You look very stressed out and I could make anything you want.”
"Wine for now. Please one with high alcoholic level, I want to forget how stressed I am about what's happening right now.”
" Okay..on it. I think I have the right thing you need right now.”
Tessy had said,while walking into her wine cabinet, biting her nails in confusion like she always did whenever she was in such state.
“You don't have to go through all that stress, I would drink from the bottle.”
Grumbling as I took out a full bottle of vodka, opening it and I took a huge gulp.
The burning sensations matching the same in my heart as I gritted my teeth in anger.
“But how did you end up losing him? I thought you drugged him and you were heading to his room. Why did you delay more when you know something could go wrong and he would end up with the wrong woeemn due to the effect of the aphrodisiac in his drink?" Tessy queried, I had asked myself those questions.
I was so close to my aim, but that fucking Lena was faster than a lightning. Maybe she knew he was rich and she wanted him to himself.
“To think that I had planned alot for that witch, only for her to stab me in the back. I wanted more than anything to make sure she was financially stable.”
"People be mean,” Tessy added, sighing as she picked up her phone walking mindlessly towards her own room.
"Where are you going to? Leaving me alone in my grief is not recommended at all, because I'm going to pour out the transgressions on it.”
" You need to learn how to calm your nerves down, or you would make fatal mistakes that would cost you more than you can manage,” Sfame saud, looking at me with an emotion I had oy seen in Lena's eyes. Concern and love.
" Fine!” I had dismissively said, flinging my hands as I thought deep into her words.
She was perfector right as k found it very hard trying to contain my rage, it always seemed like I was making a mistake whenever I start flaring up.
“I hope you don't take that to the wrong point, but pick out what I'm trying to say. I care about you because we are sisters, and sisters always have each other bagk no matter what.
But we heed to follow this with our heads and not our hearts."
Tessy was sounding far older than she was, sometimes I wondered if she was really my older sister or my mother.
As she had always treated me like a daughter rather than a sister would.
“I understand the point you are trying to make, but please understand that I can't control myself some…..”
“Wait please. Claire is calling and we need to know why. Something wrong must have happened as she never calld before completing her mission," Tessy said, smiling as she gradually put up the phone to her ears.
“Yes?’
I kept quiet trying to listen to what she was saying, iy couldn't hear anything so I breathed out in apprehension. I hope this go through like we had planned.
" They have her now.”
I clenched my fist as I jumped elated, I would finally be able to take back what's mine.
“That's a good job Claire, I would add more two thousand to your pay. You didn't fail me.”
I hugged her immediately she ended the call with my face beaming with smiles, it was finally happening.
“I told you to calm down while you were getting agitat
ed for no just cause.”
" You should know that……."
I was interrupted by a loud knock on the door which means only one thing.
" She's here.”
