LENA POV:
“You have to listen to me. I'm not going to paint this, because it would serve no purpose. But can you calm down and listen to me?" He asked, after closing his eyes for a minute.
I wished I was with a sharp object or a gun that would kill me once without pain. I would have killed myself when Emily said all that to me.
So my sister have been deceiving me all this while and I have been a fucking goddamn fool for believing them without suspecting.
Now I get why Emily had warned me to be careful about wasting too many money on her and think about myself for a bit.
Not it all makes sense, I wanted to downplay all this so Domino won't know that I knew his plans.
“I won't. I don't want to. Take me home, I'm ready to be killed by you. But I would make you regret every damm bit of making me suffer.”
And with that, I walked away. I had no idea of where I was going to. But I knew I had no idea where I was heading to. But I wanted to stay away from him for some minutes to clear my head.
I was going crazy and I couldn't even thrik straight with the rate of how my tears were threatening to gush down.
Why do I always get hurt whenever I'm trying to do something good for someone? I have lived my life trying to make sure that my sister would have the best treatment only to find out that she was working with my arch enemy in taking me out of the way.
And to add more betrayal to the injury, my parents were alive but she had told them I lost my life during our accident.
“Lena!" Domino's voice boomed, I ignored him not wanting to let find me. I hated how I had fell for him.
“Please answer. I can explain and you would understand if you hear it from my point of view.
I ignored him, looking at him from the tree I was sitting under. His voice was sounding closer by each second.
“You should leave me alone as I don't want to see your face, you are annoying the fuck out of me.
I hate you so much that how I hate myself right now. You disgust me!” I snapped, sobbing silently as I couldn't take the overwhelming pain my heart was going through right now.
He walked towards my voice and I felt his presence behind me. But he wasn't coming closer. I got scared thinking he was about pulling a gun or knife to end my life.
" You can kill me if you want. I won't feel bad now I know why you are killing me and I won't be surprised a bit.
Rather I'm excited that you would be taking me away from this sinful world who repays my kindness with evil every damm thing like it's a punishment for a mistake I made in my past life.”
" I don't know what you heard, but I would want you, rather I need you to listen to me and what I have to say.
I won't tell you lies and you would understand my view when you give me a hearing.”
" Five minutes."
“That's little, it's a long story and I would take longer time than that to be able to tell you everything you need to know.”
" Four minutes remaining or I would walk out leaving you here. And I would walk into a moving car with a note in my hands telling the law not to punish the driver as I took my life myself to get rid of the pain I'm going through right now.”
Domino's eyes widened as he looked around lost in his thoughts like he was trying to understand what I had said.
" I can't even imagine what you heard due to your reaction, but I didn't do any of that she told you. Can you give me a hint of what she said so I would know how to start explaining to you.
I'm desperate right now, I can't even think straight now.”
I turned my head slowly back at him with a smile on my face. I didn't believe that and I felt stupid at the thought that he felt I was that dumb to buy that lie he was tossing into my face.
“You must really think I'm that foolish, yes I have been foolish all this while for believing that Emily was my best friend and my sister was really sick.
But my whole life right now is a huge and dirty lie. But what prompted you into the thought of killing me to settle a score I know nothing about.
At least you should have asked and investigate properly before putting me on your to die list when I did absolutely nothing to you.”
Domino's eyes widened even more now, he seemed shocked at what I had said like I was saying outrageous stuffs and he was being accused for something he knows nothing about.
“What are you talking about? And don't tell me Emily told you all that and you believed it without reasoning that she was trying to break you down emotionally so you would leave me now I desperately need you?"
I blinked without saying anything, I haven't thought about that until he made mention of it. But Emily was so sad and serious when she was uttering those words.
It was laced with pain and regret. Was she lying to me?
“No! You are trying to confuse my info doing your biddings. You are a goddamn manipulator and I can't believe you would pull that string rather than accepting the fact that you are a monster."
"Lena listen to me for once! And stop interrupting me when I'm trying to explain to you what really happened. You think I would want to kill you with my child still in your? You with believe that I had fallen in love with you, would you?”
