LENA POV:
Smiling as I opened my eyes to the shocked ones of Domino, and the almost dead one of Emily who couldn't believe what was happening right now.
I loved that they hadn't seen this coming. I felt strong for once in my life for being able to pull such a smart move.
“Surprised?" I asked, but he surprised me by dragging me into his chest with relief.
I couldn't even breathe for some seconds, I couldn't believe he would take me again after what I did.
I just killed his best friend, my best friend but still his.
“You aren't mad at me for killing her?" I asked, he was still holding me tightly as if scared that I might leave if he dared relasee me for a second.
“No! I would have pulled the trigger on her and myself if you had die. That's why I have only two bullets in my gun.
One for her and the other one for me, to atone my sins.”
Feeling a surge of different emotions ranging from hope, love, and strength. I wrapped my hand across his back in the same tight method he was using on me.
"Thank you for staying safe for me."
“Oh no. I didn't stay safe for you, that's where you got it all wrong. I knew about all that was happening after the attack in your house.
You must think I'm a big fool for believing and getting myself hooked into all this.”
He pulled me back, my face was dried unlike the fake sobs he had heard.
Plastered wide on my face was a big smile on my face, but I started laughing at his shocked expression.
“I got you deeper than you think, you really bought all this I told you now? Lol, you are killing me with the expression on your face…” I was interrupted by his hug.
It was tight. Firm. But I felt safe, he was breaking down. A man that have never opened up to someone.
“Claire can you please leave? I would want a private time with him please."
“I'm not leaving you with him, what if he tries to do something bad to you?" Claire asked, looking at Domino with a scowl on her face.
“Leave now!" Domino's voice boomed, leaving her no room to argue.
“If you dare try to do anything to her, I would make sure you live to regret it.
I don't like you though, Lena don't think so."
I laughed with Domino stared at her disappearing figure with an amused look on his face.
“I like her.”
"You should, she's the most loyal woman I have ever worked with. She's crazy though, but she would die saving your life.
Though they would never happen as she says, only a living being can protect.”
“Wait? You should have asked me you sent her to save me when I was attacked by that man? Why didn't you?”
“I didn't even know she was the one, she can be quite sneaky at times.
And she's a heiress, talk about the irony."
" But she's sort of a gang? Why?”
