Seeing Yorick in such a state, Linda angrily rushed up to me and called me a "cheap woman."
The next second, she was slapped to the ground by Yorick.
She cried and crawled to Yorick's feet, begging him to return to the pack with her and make her his Luna.
Yorick refused, so she also stayed here.
That night, after Linda pulled out a pregnancy test and fainted in front of Yorick.
He looked at me with difficulty: "Aurora, it's all my fault. I can spend the rest of my life making it up to you, but Linda is innocent."
He carried Linda to the hospital.
At midnight, Linda sent me nude photos of her and Yorick at the hospital.
My heart felt no ripples. I forwarded the photos to Yorick.
He rushed into Uncle's villa like a madman.
I was tired of his pestering and decided to talk to him one last time, so I let Uncle allow him in.
In the study, I looked at the helpless Yorick, my gaze falling on the love bites on his neck, and spoke calmly: "What else do you want to say?"
"She forced me, Aurora. She's not only pregnant but also got depression because of me. I was afraid she might do something extreme, so I... But I've already sent her back to the pack."
"Come back with me, let's get married. When she sees I have a Luna, she won't pester me anymore."
"You mean she forced you to sleep with her?"
Yorick met my gaze, opened his mouth but couldn't speak.
After a moment, tears kept rolling down his face. He held his head and crouched on the ground in pain.
"Aurora, I know I was wrong, but I love you."
"It's just that you used to be too quiet. I was momentarily bewitched. When I said I'd escape the marriage, I was just making her happy. I never thought of abandoning you, really..."
"I really regret it. You used to love smiling at me and would always wait for me at home."
"Aurora, you can hit me and scold me, but don't be so cold to me, okay?"
The man who used to make me heartbroken just by frowning.
Now even his tears disgusted me immensely.
His disgustingness was so overwhelming that I didn't even want to continue talking properly.
Linda was certainly hateful, but I still felt Yorick deserved to go to hell more.
I smiled: "Do you know what I regret most?"
Meeting my eyes, he realized I was about to say something cruel.
He helplessly covered his ears: "Don't treat me like this, Aurora... I'm begging you."
"What I regret most in this life isn't that I risked my life to save you, but that I believed your lies about loving me, caring for me, and cherishing me for a lifetime."
"Saying you love me while sleeping with Linda—is that fun? Tattooing Linda's English name on your body and then telling me it's expressing love for me—is that fun? Or tattooing a matching ring tattoo with Linda under our engagement ring—is that fun?"
"Just how confident are you to still earnestly ask me to smile at you at a time like this?"
After saying this, I opened my phone. Recording after recording surged toward him like a tide.
His last glimmer of hope disappeared completely.
As he wished, I curved my lips and looked at him with a smile.
But his spine bent down inch by inch.
Then he almost fled from the villa.
