Everyone aside from Stan had left. They'd stuck around for over an hour, and though Kenny would've preferred them to stay, he understood they had other things to be doing. Having Stan to keep him company was enough, though. Even if he was occasionally shy of words. It made Kenny wonder why, considering Stan was usually a conversational guy.
The television was still on, but now some random cooking show was on, serving as background noise as Kenny watched Stan picking at his stumpy nails. Though he thought the silence between them was unusual, he didn't all that mind. He was finding it hard to concentrate, and his mind was playing tricks on him.
It had been ever since he woke up last night to his sister humming beside his bedside. He could still recall the look of utter shock she'd expressed when his hand lightly squeezed her smaller one, letting her know she wasn't alone. Since then, he'd been seeing moving shadows out of the corner of his eye. They were lurking in places he couldn't see, and disappearing whenever he'd seek them out. He didn't want to be alone anymore, so the silence between himself and Stan was enough.
"You look rough." Kenny spoke up after clearing his throat. As he did so, Stan lifted his head up, averting his eyes from his fingers. "Not been sleeping?"
"Not much." Stan mumbled, wiping his hands down the sides of his face in disstress. "I keep having nightmares."
"What about?"
"That night." He shakily sighed. "I just keep reliving it, over and over again. It's killing me, dude."
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Kenny says, almost nervously playing with the edges of the sheets as he forced himself not to stare at the darkness behind Stan. "I'm kind of afraid to fall asleep."
"It's like I keep smelling the burning car, and all of a sudden, I feel like I'm there all over again."
"Maybe you should talk to someone. Like a professional or something."
"Maybe." Stan nodded, though he wasn't sure that would actually be something he'd  consider. "What about you? Why don't you talk to someone?"
"Pfft, yeah right. Like I have that kind of money." Kenny frowned off to the side. "I'm going to be in debt for years after this."
"Don't you have insurance?" Stan asked wearily, but when Kenny flashed him a look of disbelief, he knew the answer.

After Kyle had given both Craig and Tweek a ride home, the two of them were back at the Tucker household once again, only this time, they weren't in the bedroom. As soon as they'd stepped inside, Craig had headed for the front room, switching on the PlayStation which sucked up all of his attention. Attention that Tweek wanted.
The blonde watched, unamused as Craig played his favourite shooting game, completely ignoring his company. That was until Tweek had enough, switching the television off and immediately received a look of pure annoyance from Craig. He didn't care though, and as he stood in front of the screen with his arms crossed, he glared right back at Craig.
"What was that for?"
"Why did you invite me here, if you were just going to pretend I wasn't here the entire time?" Tweek huffed.
"You can have a go after," Craig offered, raising an eyebrow as he moved to sit on the edge of the couch. "If that's what you want?"
"I don't want to play dumb video games!"
"Okay, Christ Tweek, calm down."
"I'm just going to go." Tweek muttered in defeat as he began to walk away.
"You're not actually mad, are you?" Craig sighed as he headed after the blonde. "Come back."
Standing still by the now open door, Tweek glanced over his shoulder to Craig who pleadingly stood behind him. Now that he was finally receiving the attention he'd desired, he was no longer in the mood. He partly closed the door, before turning around to fully face his friend with a straight face, and for once, Craig was showing more emotion than he was.
"I'm going home, Craig." He replied in a worn out tone.
"You're not."
"But I am," Tweek furrowed his eyebrows. As he watched the darker haired boy in front of him, Tweek couldn't help but find his action almost puppy like. Craig was following him around, eventually demanding his presence, which should have been a win for Tweek, only it wasn't. He didn't want to have to tell someone to pay attention to him, but he had, and now all he could think about was that.
"No." Craig simply stated.
"You do know that you can't actually make me stay, right?"
"I want to talk."
For a moment, Tweek was taken back. "You want to talk?" He questioned, putting emphasis on the 'you'.
"Yeah," Craig shifted in position, looking away from Tweek. "About last night."
Oh god. Tweek internally said to himself. He'd been wanting to talk about it too, though he'd never have imagined Craig wanting to. He was relieved, and the way his posture instantly transformed, Craig knew so too. "You do?"
"Mhm, I just feel like we didn't actually talk that much about it, and I just wanted to know what you're thinking."
"I- I'm not sure," Tweek says, looking down at his shoes shyly. "I guess, I wanted it to happen."
He glanced up to see Craig looking perplexed at his answer, for what reason, Tweek wasn't sure, but he was soon about to find out.
"You wanted what to happen?" Craig drawled.
"The k..." But then realisation dawned on Tweek, like a tsunami consuming an entire town, and in the same way, he couldn't run from the backlash of his words. He wanted to run away, to hide away until Craig forgot about it, but he was physically unable to move.
It took a few seconds for Craig to catch on, but when he did, he felt his face flush with embarrassment. "I- I meant about the letter!"
"Oh fuck! Jesus Christ." Tweek tugged on his hair. "Me too! The letter!"
He knew by the expression of shock Craig was wearing, that he wasn't fooling anyone, and for that, he hoped the ground swallowed him up. But it didn't, and he was left to face Craig alone.
"Tweek..." Craig nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "I didn't mean- I wasn't- you know, you just had me all confused."
"Yep, no, got it." Tweek nodded hastily as he pointed back at the door. "I'm just going to leave now."
He wasn't leaving any chance for Craig to answer before he practically raced out of the house and down the road, hoping to put as much distance between himself and Craig. Back inside, Craig roughly rubbed his eyes with his knuckles as he thought about what he should and shouldn't do. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to let Tweek go, or if he was supposed to follow, but he knew the longer he waited, the less choices he'd have to make.
It was now or never. This was the moment his life had been building him up to for years, and to say he wasn't completely intimidated, would be an understatement. He pounded his fist against his forehead as he breathed in deeply, and as he stared at the door, he decided.
