Lucian moved fast. By the end of the day, the so-called "special training school" was shut down for good.
The police brought me in to give my statement.
As I scanned the building, I counted over a dozen missing faces—the worst of them, the ones who had tormented Raina the most.
I didn't need an explanation. I knew exactly what Lucian had done with them.
When the remaining instructors saw me, they flinched, pressing themselves against the walls like cornered rats, too terrified to even look me in the eye.
I smirked, cold and unfeeling, staring down those familiar cowards.
Truth was, I'd taken over this body long ago.
Lucian was the one who'd forgotten—he'd already abandoned Raina.
About a month after Raina was sent to that hellhole, Kate found out she was pregnant.
They didn't want the baby. Planned to get rid of it quietly.
But after taking the pills, Kate was beaten so badly she miscarried.
She bled out, clinging to life by a thread.
Terrified and desperate, Raina stole a phone and called Lucian, begging him to save Kate.
He was on some romantic getaway with Elaine. His response? "Stop lying and fix yourself."
Kate died right in front of Raina, drenched in her own blood.
That night, one of the instructors tried to force himself on her again.
That was the final straw.
Raina gave up.
And that's when she handed her body over to me—the one who'd been sleeping inside.
I was insane.
I made sure that instructor would never touch anyone again.
After that, I fought back. Every single one of them learned to fear me.
By the time I finished giving my statement, Lucian was waiting outside.
"This is just the beginning," he said, voice heavy with fake remorse. "I'll make things right for Raina."
I laughed—cold, mocking.
Typical man.
He'd known for months what was happening to her. Chose to ignore it.
Played the concerned guardian while doing nothing.
It wasn't until he saw the videos—every single second of her suffering—that he finally believed her.
What a swift reaction.
Pathetic.
