"London D Ayer you have been found guilty by a twelve of your peers on over six hundred charges. You have caused pain and suffering to victims and their families and those are from ones who were able and brave enough to sit in the stand and tell their stories. Never in my life had I ever thought a single person could cause so much pain and suffering and not only within our borders. You have shown not a single ounce of recourse for any of your victims which has made it even easier than I thought it would be too sentence you to the maximum on every charge against you the highest being death. That's all I have for you, I hope this brings some peace to all victims affected," the judge said before banging her gavel and walking out the courtroom. Applause erupted from everyone in the room. I couldn't help but stand and smile at the look of fear on London's face. The bailiffs came up to take him and he began fighting away but they were stronger and dragged him away.
I looked at my family, they all had smiles as they looked at the scene he was making. When he was finally out of sight I took a deep breath and looked at my husband, father, Nia, and brothers before speaking, " Let's go home I want to spend time with my kids," I said wanting to put all of this behind me...

"MA, POPS WE'RE HERE," Ozias yelled walking into the house with Beo close beside him wearing his husband's Seahawks jersey. If I was being honest I never thought Ozias would be the first to get married but I was so happy for the both of them. Beo pushed Ozias to finish school before going into the league which I really wanted Ozias to do but hearing it just from me and Marco made it stick. So now if he was injured he could fall back on his accounting degree.
"You're late. I live in England and managed to be here on time," Maddox said sitting on the couch with Wylder. He then looked over at her and asked her if she was feeling okay for the fifth time within twenty minutes. He and Wylder had broken up after high school but got back together two years ago. Maddox never moved on even when he moved to London after graduating college with his bachelor's degree. Nia and Oscar set the meeting up after not approving of her boyfriend's after Maddox. Now she was sitting on my couch two months pregnant with my son who was going to drive her crazy.
"Kiss my ass," Ozias said only to get a shoe thrown at him by Cartier who's little baby girl was bundled in her arms.
"Can you not cuss in front of my granddaughter you heathen," Alder said looking at his granddaughter who was already being spoiled by her grandparents.
"Yeah like you won't be playing all that hood shit in the car with her," Pine said towards Tyler but spoke when everyone got quite causing Cartier to glare at her father.
"Sorry but Dahlia likes it though," he responded getting an eye roll from his wife.
"Anyway, I had a few fans that wanted some autographs and it would be rude of me not to give it to them," Ozias said taking a seat on the couch where his little sister Tallulah who was too occupied with her dolls to entertain him until he picked her up causing her to giggle.
"Hey pumpkin," he said now having her attention. She put her hands on his face and giggled.
"Hey Zi Zi," she smiled at her brother before they began talking. Tallulah had to be the kindest little girl on the planet. Never got angry, did what she was told and helped others without even making a face.
"Look who decided to show up an hour late," My dad said walking in from the kitchen with Cindy and Marco who all looked happy. I looked up at my husband and noticed Porter walking behind them a cookie in his hand. He looked up at me with a guilty face. I waved him away allowing the action just this once. He ran off to Beo once he noticed him sitting on the couch.
Porter was a bit rebellious and liked to test the boundaries. He wasn't too much to handle just had to be given tasks to keep him out of trouble.
" I heard that like and I can see from the fresh makes on Beo's neck that it wasn't just fans that had you running late," Cindy said walking over and smacking him upside the head before taking a seat next to Tyler.
"Why are you always late for movie night," I asked him waiting to see where Marco was sitting before taking a seat next to him. Be pulled me into his Lemon scented embrace to give me a kiss at the top of my head.
"Where's Calloway," Ozias asked not wanting to discuss the questions I had asked.
"I'm here," he shouted from the front room looking out the window. Germany was about ten minutes late with Kinley so I knew he was ready to flip out. Calloway being a doctor was in his first year of residency with a concentration in Orthopedic Surgery. He had busted his ass after everything was settled and worked to graduate high school early, get his bachelor's, and finish med school.  He had decided to become an orthopedic surgeon because he liked the idea of breaking bones for good. His brothers paid for school and helped him until he was completely finished with training. He had a hard dream of opening up clinics in various parts of the world and raising his daughter to be the best she can be. I got up and walked over to him to make sure he wasn't freaking out.
"You okay," I asked him rubbing his back to comfort him.
"Yeah," he said jumping up seeing Germany's car pulling into the driveway. I couldn't stand him and neither could Calloway but he did take care of his child so I had to give him that. We watched as Germany got out the car and went to get Kinley from the back seat she jumped out and ran to the front door.
Calloway opened it just as she was knocking.
"Papa, Grammy," she said jumping up for Calloway to catch her. Germany walked to the front door and looked like he was about to speak.
"Good evening Mr. Tafferty," he said to me and I gave him a half-hearted nod.
"Calloway," he began to speak but Calloway just put his hands up.
"Bye, don't be late with my daughter again," he said before shutting the door in his face and bringing Kinley to the living room where everyone was. I walked behind him and took a good look at my family. Years ago I wouldn't have been able to imagine a life like this. Kids who were doing well at life, grandchildren, a real relationship with my family. I looked over at Marco and smiled hard thinking about how he was the main component that brought all of this together knowing I probably wouldn't have made it home without him. I walked back over and sat down next to him leaning into him feeling so safe and comfortable just being in his presence.
