"Mr. Lowery, take it easy. You haven't found the person you've been looking for, have you?" With that, Arielle quickly jotted down a few words on a piece of paper and gave a subtle glance to the waiter beside her.
The waiter took the paper from Arielle and respectfully handed it to Samson.
He was freaking out inside, fearing he'd be used as a pawn by Samson.
After Samson received the letter, the waiter immediately took a few steps back to avoid being implicated.
Samson's deep eyes fixated on the white paper in his hand.
The girl was surnamed Bradford. According to his investigation, there was no such lady in any of Haishi's prominent families.
With an unknown identity, she exuded an extraordinary aura at such a young age.
Even when facing him, she showed no trace of panic or fear.
Such a person shouldn't remain unknown.
Similarly, she had no reason to toy with her own life. So, with doubts, he opened the note in front of everyone's curious eyes.
When he saw the words on the paper, Samson narrowed his eyes slightly as he slammed his right hand down on the paper.
He abruptly stood up, leaning forward, his eyes filled with overwhelming hatred.
He squeezed out each word between his teeth. "If you don't explain clearly, you and everyone around you will pay for your foolish actions!"
Everyone in the room heard his furious threat.
All were curious about what Arielle had written on the paper.
On the stage, Arielle, unaffected by Samson's anger, slowly stood up.
She walked step by step towards Samson.
Bending down, she whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "He has a 3-inch scar near the root of his right thigh."
With that, she returned to her seat as if nothing had happened.
Upon hearing this, Samson plopped his entire body back into the chair with a heavy thud.
A sense of trance came over him, and he believed Arielle's words.
That guy was the one he wanted to dismember every waking moment.
Because of this person, his wife and daughter Alice both lost their lives.
Ten years ago, when he brought his family to Haskium, they got ambushed.
Luckily, Gavin's grandpa, Arthur Boone, showed up and saved them.
He thought that the life of constant violence and bloodshed couldn't provide stability for his wife and daughter.
So, he planned to quit the gang and live a peaceful life with his family.
But unexpectedly, before he could leave, he was betrayed by someone close.
They were hunted by another faction.
With no choice, he handed over his wife and daughter to a trusted man, telling him to keep them safe while he fled with a dozen brothers.
For a whole year, he lived on the run.
During that time, he met the boss of Cloud Nine.
With the boss's help and some remaining power, Samson killed the rival leader, Blackie.
And he became the sole boss of the gang, with no other factions in existence.
But then came an unexpected twist: While in hiding, Blackie found his wife and daughter and raped them.
The sight of his wife and daughter, who were tortured beyond recognition, filled him with rage. He chopped Blackie into pieces and fed him to the dogs.
Thinking justice had been served for his family, he learned from his dying wife that it wasn't actually Blackie who did it but some guy with knife scar on his thigh, and not just him alone...
Less than two days after his wife's death, his 14-year-old daughter Alice also died.
Their bodies were riddled with wounds.
He couldn't imagine what torture they went through.
He rounded up all of Blackie's men, interrogated each one until they confessed, then killed them.
