She didn't go back to the Bradford family but went to a mall instead.
Her outfit got dirty.
It was also her first time shopping at a mall since she came back from hell; she was in high spirits.
Her top was an army green cotton jacket under 30 bucks, and she wore thick cotton pants underneath. Such attire stood out like a sore thumb in this top-tier mall in Theoria.
But Arielle didn't care; she casually entered a store to pick clothes.
"Welcome." When the saleswoman saw such frugal clothing, surprise flashed across her eyes.
However, she still greeted Arielle warmly with respect as usual.
One must admit that the service industry could really test one's patience and character.
Arielle's hair was tied up high in a ponytail, revealing a stunning face with clear, her sharp eyes emitting coldness.
When the saleswoman was amazed by her beauty, she also regretted that Arielle wasn't born into a good family.
She approached enthusiastically, saying, "This style is great. There's a promotion going on in the store now, so you can get discounts on all these items.
"How about this one? It suits your skin tone well; it's also on sale—originally 2999 dollars but now only 1999 dollars."
Arielle scanned over rows of discounted areas and asked, "Any more discounted clothes available?"
Hearing this, the saleswoman knew what kind of customer she was dealing with—a beautiful person who should dress beautifully too. Or it would be such a waste.
The clothes in their store were still of good quality, even when on sale.
She just introduced the cheapest clothes in the store. Judging by Arielle's attire, the saleswoman guessed she probably couldn't afford anything more expensive.
She immediately led Arielle to the front row. "Besides those pieces, all the clothes in this row are on sale, and some are out of stock."
The saleswoman paused for a second, took a look at Arielle's figure, and smiled again. "But with your body type, you can wear them all. Larger sizes will highlight your figure and be more comfortable."
Arielle didn't mind the enthusiastic introduction.
Maybe it had been too long since she heard such a soothing voice. She actually enjoyed it a bit.
She pointed up and said, "Besides the ones on sale, the pink or green ones. Please pack up everything else for me."
Then she added, "Size S."
The saleswoman was stunned for a moment, wondering if she had heard wrong.
After snapping back to reality, she asked uncertainly again, "So you want all the new styles in the store except for pink and green?"
"Yes," Arielle replied, handing over a credit card.
The saleswoman was quite astute and immediately realized her attitude was off, her excited tone trembling with unease. "Got it. I'll pack them right away. Please take a seat in our VIP lounge while I get that done."
Her heart was racing as she forced herself into an exaggerated smile. 'What sheer dumb luck?! How could such good luck fall upon me? Wow! This month is going to be great!'
Hearing the conversation, other salespeople and customers looking through clothes all turned to see what was happening.
They were amazed by this unassuming yet generous customer.
'Wearing less than 30 bucks worth of clothing, even her eye-catching cotton pants were pilling, but spending so freely? Is this how rich people like to show off differently?' they wondered.
Meanwhile, five salespeople helped pack everything together so as not to keep this important guest waiting too long.
'Such a rich girl shouldn't be so low-key,' they thought.
At this time, Arielle stood up and looked around the store; there were still some unpacked clothes hanging on racks.
She pointed at a light-colored top and a bright yellow coat on display racks, saying, "Get that one down for me. I'm gonna wear it."
