Arielle took a few steps back, about to ask what was going on when a haughty voice called out from behind her. "Well, if it isn't the Bradford family's precious little princess they picked up from the slums."
Arielle turned back, her eyes landing on a woman caked in garish makeup. A dangerous glint flickered in her eyes.
It was Emily Dalton, Sharon's niece.
She strutted in a skintight bodycon dress.
A gaudy sapphire necklace dangled from her neck.
Every inch of her screamed "new money" and bad taste.
Her face was caked with heavy makeup as she teetered on sky-high heels.
She was clinging to the arm of a red-haired, tattooed man.
With a cigarette dangling between his fingers, he gazed off, shamelessly ogling the women on the street as he blew smoke rings with an air of indifference.
Emily strutted around with such exaggerated arrogance, it was almost comical.
A dangerous glint flashed in Arielle's eyes as she stared Emily down, her gaze clearly saying, "Who the hell are you? Get lost!"
Emily gave Arielle a contemptuous once-over from head to toe and let out a dismissive snort.
Emily sneered, "So, what are you doing here all by yourself? Looking for a sugar daddy or something?
"You're new to the Bradford family. I'm warning you, behave yourself, or I'll go tell Sharon everything."
Arielle's brows furrowed in annoyance. 'Emily is just as insufferable as ever,' she thought.
"Got a problem?" Arielle said coldly.
She wasn't looking for trouble today, but she wouldn't back down if it came her way.
Emily was here to avenge Meredith.
She'd heard that Arielle had snatched Meredith's room, targeted her at every turn, and even dared to try and steal her fiancé.
'What a despicable woman!' Emily fumed.
She'd even been planning to hire some people to rough Arielle up after school in a few days.
Little did she know, the opportunity would come so soon.
Arielle's photos were all over the internet, so Emily recognized her the moment she showed up.
'Looks like luck's on my side today,' Emily thought, a sly smile tugging at her lips as she plotted how to take Arielle down.
Emily smirked to herself, plotting, 'I'll teach her a proper lesson. Let's see if she ever dares to bully Meredith again.'
Emily swayed her slender waist seductively, snuggling up to the man beside her and pointing at Arielle.
"Georgie Tate, don't you love me?" she cooed, her voice syrupy sweet. "If you do, you have to help me out, okay? She bullied my cousin. It's my job to stand up for her. Promise you'll teach that bitch a lesson for me?"
As she spoke, Emily rubbed herself against him like a cat in heat, her tone dripping with honeyed seduction.
Arielle shuddered. 'That gave me goosebumps all over,' she thought in disgust.
'A coquettish beauty like that, what man wouldn't go weak for her?' Arielle thought with a hint of disdain, 'Maybe every guy just falls for her type.'
Georgie Tate planted a playful kiss on Emily's cheek. "You're my little darling. Don't worry, I've got your back."
Georgie finally tore his wandering gaze away and turned to look at Arielle.
He hadn't paid her any mind before.
But the moment he truly saw her, his eyes widened in surprise.
Arielle had a face so stunning it was one in a million.
Her cool, distant eyes warned strangers away, yet seemed to hold countless untold stories.
As any red-blooded man would, he found himself captivated by such breathtaking beauty.
Georgie's roving gaze swept over Arielle with undisguised interest.
Unaware of her look of disgust, he flicked his bangs aside with practiced ease.
Arielle shot him a warning glare, her eyes sharp as knives, but before she could make a move, Emily's expression instantly darkened beside him. She shot Arielle a venomous glare, her teeth grinding in fury.
She seethed inwardly, 'What a shameless vixen!
'How dare she try to seduce my man right in front of me!'
