Randy looked up. His jaw was clenched. "Blake wants to see you in his office," he spoke harshly. I flinched at his tone.
He saw and instead of apologizing he stared down. I thought of whatever that Blake had to tell me was bad.
I ran to his office and burst in the door. He was behind his couch and he had a tired look on his face. "The guys said you had to talk to me," I muttered.
He looked up since he had been staring at his desk full of papers. He motioned for me to sit.
I obeyed and looked at him, urging him to tell me whatever he had to.
"Look, I'm sorry but they needed our help."
"Who?" I asked cautiously.
"A pack."
I was extremely confused now. We always help packs so what was the problem now unless....
"Oh hell nah!" I yelled furious.
"Jen-"
I cut him off. "I hate them! I don't want to help them! Let them die! Let them suffer!" I snarled out the last part.
"You know you don't mean that," Blake whispered gently.
Rage bubbled up in me. I could already start to feel my right eye twitch and my face turning red from anger.
"They almost killed me," I spat at him.
"We need to help them! The hunters are planning something bad!" He boomed.
My anger lessened a bit but was still clearly evident.
I took deep breaths to calm myself down. I knew I had to go for yet another run to chill out.
"Fine," I muttered angrily and stormed out the room, slamming the door behind me. I ran out the door ignoring the calls from the guys and shifted.
I pounded against the ground with my heavy paws as I ran through the woods. I knocked over trees not caring if I got in trouble for it.
It took me a full hour until I was in control.
'Are you alright?' I asked Crystal.
'I'm better. I just don't want to go back," she mumbled evidently irritated.
'Remember what you told me two years ago?' I said to her hoping she'll remember.
'I said alot of stuff," she smart mouthed.
I ignored her comment and continued talking. 'When I almost took my life, do you remember what you told me? You told me to run away and show them who we are."
'We're not the same Crystal. We changed and for the better. We'll show them we never needed them,' I smiled.
She howled in anticipation.
I can't wait until we go see those assholes. Let's see who needed who in the end.
I packed my clothes, make-up and anything else that was essential for me to live with. I can't believe I am actually returning to my old pack that deserves what is happening.
I know I'm really bitchy, but can you actually blame for how I am acting? They tortured me and now they need our help?
A good thing about this mess is the fact that they have no clue I'm alive and in this pack. I heard rumors saying that the alpha sealed off the case of search for Jenna Summers and decided to just move on.
I will say that I was pretty pissed off when I heard, but then I had to think about how he never cared about me or did anyone else.
"Jenna, hurry the fuck up!" Zach yelled from downstairs. He does know he could've just mind linked, right? Then again, he was the dumbest of the pack.
"Shut up! You're the stupid one!" I heard him yell offended.
I rolled my eyes and blocked off my thoughts. I took a last glance at my appearance. My skin was a flawless tan and no acne was evident.
My hair is a dark black with red tips. It was naturally straight and luscious. My eye color was no longer dim and dull, but a beautiful dark brown.
My lips were plump and red rather than pale and big. My body was curvy and that posture that makes me look sexy and confident. I have muscle, but not too much to the point where I look manly.
I was wearing a red crop top with black letters that said, That's what he said.
I matched it with black ripped skinny jeans and a leather jacket. I slipped on some red vans and dark sunglasses. I let my hair loose.
I picked up my huge duffel bags and brought them down without breaking a sweat. The guys were already in their own cars.
Blake was in the front, obviously. He had a shiny black 2014 Mercedes-Benz with a white moon decal (design) on the back side of the car. It was on the right side.
Next would be my spot, but I decided to be in the back so everyone could be confused. I let Randy take my spot. He had a chrome white 2015 Audi.
After him was Trey. He had a Forest Green 2014 Cadillac.
It was then Zach's spot. He had a neon green with white trim 2014 Ferrari.
It was finally my turn. I had a dark blue sleek 014 Lamborghini. The side skirts were black and some of the front grill was too. The spoiler was black. The rims were dark and the tires matched.
