"Let's go to the hospital to visit Grace."
"Okay."
"Lilian, Kelly, can you keep an eye on Davian and Irvin? Don't let them run around."
"Understood, Mrs. Everett." The two servants that came with them nodded respectfully upon receiving the order.
Joanna reminded them a few more words before leaving the hotel.
After Joanna left, the two boys instantly started having fun.
"Wow, there's a jumper, a pool, and a gym."
"Davian, I heard there are many local restaurants down the street. There are many fun things to do.
"Do you like to take a look?" Irvin suggested excitedly.
"Mommy doesn't allow us to leave the room."
Irvin didn't take it seriously. "We are not leaving the hotel. We are just going to sneak out and come back before they find out.
"Come on. Let's go have a look!"
Davian looked at Irvin and asked, "Are you very hungry?
"We can ask them to deliver food into the room. What do you want?" Davian suggested.
"Come on! It's boring to eat in the room. Let's see what is being sold there. That'll be much funnier."
Davian wasn't persuaded. He refused, shaking his head, "No, Mommy will be angry if she finds out.
"Besides, we promised Mommy that we would stay here."
"Tsk. Davian. Since when did you become such a good boy?" Irvin pouted.
Irvin had always been mischievous and outgoing.
On the other hand, Davian was more reserved and quiet.
Being ignored, Irvin started coaxing and pestering Davian again.
"Come on. Let's go. Let's go have a look.
"It's not that we have the chance to walk around every day. If we don't go for a walk, it'll be a huge loss."
"Uh, this room is so big. Isn't it enough for you to shop around?"
"Come on. There is only the two of us here. It's boring. Let's dive into people!"
Davian was speechless.
Unlike Irvin, Davian didn't like crowded places.
However, he couldn't do anything about Irvin, so he could only reluctantly agree.
"Lilian, Miss Kelly, we're going out for a walk."
Kelly quickly refused. "No, Mrs. Everett said you guys can't leave the room."
"We're just going to try out the foods here. We'll be back soon."
"Two young gentlemen, you'd better stay in your rooms before your mother comes back.
"Just tell me what you want, and I'll go get them for you."
"No, we want to go by ourselves."
"Excuse us, but without Mrs. Everett's permission, we don't dare to let you out."
"Oh, come on..."
Failing to get out, the two boys could only go back to their hotel room.
"Forget it. They won't let us out," said Davian.
"Davian, what if we sneak out?" Irvin proposed.
"We can't. There are bodyguards at the door."
"Sigh, it's so annoying. We can go anywhere. This almost feels like a jail," Irvin complained.
After that, he jumped backward and fell onto the water bed behind him.
He tossed and turned on the huge water bed.
Davian turned on the television to watch cartoons.
Irvin slipped out of bed and began to wander around the room.
Twenty minutes later.
Irvin ran excitedly to his brother's side. "Davian, I found a secret."
"What secret?"
"There are two doors in this room."
"Really?" Davian was skeptical.
"Yes, yes! Come and take a look."
As he spoke, Irvin pulled Davian to the balcony.
"Hey, look, this leads to the pool on the balcony. There's another door around the pool that we can use to get out," Irvin pointed out enthusiastically.
Upon hearing this, Davian frowned and shook his head. "I don't think this is a good idea. What if we get lost..." he expressed his concern.
"Come on. How could we possibly get lost? This is the Presidential Suite! If we can't find our way back, all we have to do is inform the waiters, and they'll definitely take us back.
"Well, besides, we're only heading downstairs for a leisurely walk. We won't even leave the hotel premises, so there's no way we can get lost."
Davian could not withstand Irvin's pestering. He was tempted.
After all, the two little guys were at the age where they were curious about everything.
Before long, the two young ones stealthily slipped out through the petite balcony door.
After that, they went down the fire escape to the next floor and took the elevator down.
Joanna arrived at Marhall Hospital.
Venturas was a relatively small town, and it only took ten minutes to travel from the hotel to the hospital.
In the ward, Grace was lying weakly on the hospital bed, attended to by two nannies who were caring for her.
"Grace, how are you?" Joanna greeted in a gentle tone.
Grace opened her eyes and was surprised to see Joanna. "Joanna, why are you here?"
Looking at the bandage on Grace's head and the IV drip on her arm, Joanna looked worried. "Sigh, silly girl, how did it end up like this?"
Grace did not say anything. She just looked at Joanna with a sick expression.
Her love had yet to thrive when it died.
This feeling of falling out of love was really uncomfortable.
"Does it hurt?" Joanna held her hand and asked her with concern.
"It doesn't hurt!"
"You've got seven stitches. How can it not hurt?" Joanna still felt sorry for her.
Grace fell silent again. Her eyes filled with tears.
Recently, she had been feeling down.
Coupled with the fact that she had been scolded by her brother indiscriminately today, her mood was even worse.
Jaydon smiled awkwardly. "Grace, I'm sorry. I misunderstood you just now."
"When did you become so impatient?" Joanna could not help but complain.
"Heh, it's all my fault. It's all my fault. I apologize to you solemnly.
"Forgive me! I won't be so impulsive next time."
Grace raised her eyes slightly and looked at Jaydon with some sadness and resentment.
Jaydon smiled awkwardly and asked her with concern, "Grace, I heard from Joanna that you're going to Melta for that Darcy?
"Is it true?"
Grace pondered for a few seconds before nodding and admitting, "Yes, I'm going to look for him. Whether you agree or not, I'm going to look for him."
When Jaydon heard this, his head hurt.
Darcy was just a bodyguard, and he was so much older than Grace.
Jaydon didn't want them to be together.
However, if they were truly in love. Jaydon wouldn't force them to break up.
"I won't stop you from being the person you love.
"But not now. You are sick. You need to stay in the hospital until you get better.
"As for Darcy, wait for him to come back. I'll talk to him personally.
"You have known each other for only a short time. You can try to date him for now. It's too soon to talk about marriage."
When Grace heard this, her eyes turned even redder.
Darcy hadn't agreed to date her at all.
The feeling of defeat and loss was too hard to take. She didn't know how to tell Jaydon.
Jaydon suddenly thought of something and asked curiously, "Joann, uh, why did Bruce go to Melta?"
"Sigh, I don't know why he went there either. He said it was for business and then he said that he was going to find some sort of mine. But I feel that he's not telling the truth." Joanna looked depressed.
Jaydon and her were good friends.
Therefore, there was no need to lie to him.
When Jaydon heard this, his face darkened. He thought of something.
"Joann, you said... Bruce is amazing. Don't you feel that he's different from us?" Jaydon praised stiffly and awkwardly.
When Joanna heard this, she stared blankly at Jaydon. This was the first time he had commented on Bruce.
Of course!
He was indeed an amazing person.
"Jay, why did you say that? What do you mean?"
"Hehe, it's nothing. I really admire him. I feel like there is nothing he couldn't do."
Jaydon became more dubious in his heart.
Especially at the Saumi Cradia's Embassy, Bruce handed the diplomat some kind of document.
After that, the diplomats paid special attention to them and personally sent them back to the country.
A rich tycoon wouldn't have such privileges.
