Cassie POV
I woke up from Antonia moving over, pulling me closer.  We fell asleep on the couch... naked... all our evidence out on display.  Pulling the throwover on us, I snuggled into her.  Lovebites we're all over her chest, neck and thighs.  Is it bad it got me excited knowing I was the one to put them there?
She was still asleep, completely unconscious.  I loved it.  She looked cute, peaceful, and quiet.  Everything about her in these moments made me feel... blissful.  Our naked bodies were pressed against one another.  I loved feeling her skin on mine... it felt surreal.
Then.
I.
Heard.
The.
Twins.
"Mama isn't in her room," Jessika said, I immediately sat up.
"Mom's car is still here too.  Maybe they're in the living room," Jakob said and panic washed over me.
Quickly I sprung into action.  I got up from the couch and pulled Antonia off as well.  She woke up from falling onto the floor.  She was about to complain, but I whispered, "The kids are coming!  Get into the bathroom!"  I grabbed everything and we both ran in, locking the door behind us.  Turning on the shower, I pushed her inside and got dressed.
"Mom!  Mama!" Jakob shouted.
Straightening myself out, I walked out and greeted them, "Morning!  Your mom is in the shower."
"And you were in there too?" Jessika asked.
"I needed to show her how to use it," I said, having them nod.  The lever is weird so that was the best excuse I had.  Going into the kitchen, I started to make breakfast, "How did you two sleep?"
"Good," Jessika said.
"Awful," Jakob grumbled.
Laughing, I asked, "And why is that Jakob?"
"Jessika snored like a freaking lion!" He flicked her forehead but that made her flick him back.  They were about to start a fight but I placed their plates in front of them.
Antonia came out, her hair wrapped up in a towel.  My eyes widen as I motioned to her neck.  She turned around and came back with a jacket, "Morning."
"Morning," we all said.  I placed her plate down as she yawned.
"Why did you stay over mom?" Jessika asked.
"Your mama and I were watching a movie and I ended up passing out," she glanced up at me, making me red, "don't worry, I'll be leaving after this."
"Actually," Jakob wiped his mouth, "can you help me with my science project?"
"What is it?"
"I have to make a phosphate," he said.... A what?  Jessika and I looked lost.
"That's pretty easy," she shrugged and then looked at me, "is it okay if I stay to help?"
Adverting my eyes... embarrassed a little, I say, "You don't have to ask."
~
"What the hell is that?" I muttered, staring at the weird creation.
"A phosphate?" Jessika shrugged, making me chuckle.
Jessika was beyond bored. Whenever Jakob is busy doing stuff, she gets all depressed. Her partner in crime isn't around to stir trouble. "Wanna go kick the ball around?" I asked and she quickly got her ball.
Once outside, I kicked it a bit but she was doing all these tricks. Bouncing it off her knees and head. She was at her happiest when she played soccer. It was the only place she dominated. She felt superior there and I loved it.
"Mama?"
"Yes baby?"
"When did you find out you liked mom?" She asked.
I was taken back. Jessika didn't really ask these kind of questions, "Well.. in eighth grade I guess."
"And did it bother you that you liked a girl?" She was balancing the ball on her forehead.
"No," I said, "I was never worried about that... only after my mom and I fought."
"But you never thought it was weird before that?" She tossed it down to her knee and bounced it up again.
"Nope," I said, fanning myself. The sun was beating down on us.
"I think I'm broken."
"What?"
"I don't like anyone... I never have," she tossed it up and caught it with her hands, "Jakob has had crushes all throughout school but me? I've never been interested in anyone."
"Well maybe you haven't found the person?" I suggested.
"Or I'm asexual," she said, "but I don't mind the idea of having sex."
"What?" I almost choked.
"Actually, I'd like to have sex one day... but I'm not sure with who," she sighed, sitting down in the dying grass, "Jakob says he's straight and Jaelynn says she is. Well... I've never looked at a boy and wanted to date him... I haven't done with girls either."
I walked over and took a seat next to her, "Maybe you need to be friends first."
"Well that would explain a lot... I don't have any friends," she huffed, "I just think it would be nice... to like someone. They don't need to like me back or anything... I just want to experience that." I ruffled her hair a bit, seeing her sigh, "I don't care if they're a boy, girl, non-binary or whatever... I just want to be somewhat normal."
"You are normal baby."
"I'm not though," she said, "I am an orphan... adopted, the stupid twin, incapable of liking someone, and I got messed with a lot at school.... So no, I'm not normal... I just want something that is normal... anything honestly."
I didn't know what to say, so I just held her hand and waited for her to want to go in.
~
Sitting in my bedroom, I was looking over the expenses for the studio. Everything looked good. We have an increase in clients and it seemed like we had enough supplies... maybe adding another instructor would be great.
Someone knocked, "Come in."
The door opened and Antonia said, "Jakob and I finished, so I'm going to leave." Turning around, I frowned. I didn't want her to leave... it felt weird having her leave... but could I tell her that? "What's wrong? Something happen at work?" She asked.
"Stay the night," I said.
"Uh... I can't," she rubbed her neck.
"Why?" I mumbled.
"I need my stuff for work tomorrow," she said.
"Oh okay," I muttered, turning around.
She said, "Let me go get my stuff and I'll come back. Is that okay?" Excitedly, I turned around and smiled.
