The next morning, Alessia woke up with a spring in his step, his heart racing with anticipation. Today was the day. He was going to put his plan into action, and nothing—absolutely nothing—was going to stop him. He practically bounced out of bed, his green eyes sparkling with excitement as he made his way to the bathroom.
He took his time in the shower, the warm water soothing his nerves as he hummed an unknown melody to himself. The tune was light and cheerful, a reflection of his mood. As he stepped out of the shower, he wrapped himself in a fluffy towel and stood in front of his closet, his eyes scanning the rows of clothes. Today, he wanted to look irresistible. Today, he wanted Drake to be unable to look away.
After a few minutes of deliberation, he settled on a pair of fitted black jeans that hugged his slender frame perfectly and a brown turtleneck crop top that showed just a hint of his waist. He paired the outfit with sleek black boots, the kind that added a touch of edge to his otherwise soft and delicate appearance. Standing in front of the mirror, he took a moment to admire himself. His black hair was styled in an elegant Asian-inspired look, and he had applied just enough makeup to highlight his features without looking overdone. He looked stunning, and he knew it.
“Wow,” he whispered to his reflection, a small, satisfied smile playing on his lips. “Drake won’t know what hit him.”
As he made his way downstairs, Alysa was already in the kitchen, sipping on her morning coffee. She looked up as Alessia entered, her sharp amber eyes narrowing as she took in his outfit. “Alessia,” she said, her tone a mix of amusement and exasperation, “we’re going to classes, not a party.”
Alessia grinned, his confidence unwavering. “I know,” he replied, his voice light and breezy. He swayed his hips slightly as he walked past her, his movements deliberate and graceful. “But there’s no harm in looking good, is there?”
Alysa rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress a small smile. Her brother was ridiculous, but she had to admit, he looked good. “Just don’t distract everyone in class,” she said, her tone teasing. “We’re there to learn, not to model.”
Alessia laughed, the sound bright and carefree. “No promises,” he said, grabbing his bag and heading for the door. He was ready. Today was going to be perfect.
When Alessia stepped into the locker room, he was no longer the shy, timid boy everyone had grown accustomed to. Gone were the oversized sweaters and hesitant glances. Today, he walked with a confidence that turned heads, his fitted black jeans and brown turtleneck crop top accentuating his slender frame. His black boots clicked softly against the tiled floor, and his perfectly styled hair and subtle makeup made him look like he had stepped out of a fashion magazine. The room seemed to pause as he entered, the usual chatter dying down as everyone’s eyes turned to him.
Alessia scanned the room, his green eyes sharp and focused. And then he saw him—Drake, leaning casually against a row of lockers, chatting with a friend. The moment Drake’s eyes landed on Alessia, his words trailed off, his mouth slightly open in surprise. Alessia felt a thrill of satisfaction. This was the power of craving his mate’s blood, the magnetic pull that made him bold, confident, and utterly irresistible.
“Drake,” Alessia called, his voice smooth and confident, cutting through the silence like a knife. Every head in the room turned, their attention now fully on the couple. Drake straightened up, his piercing eyes locked on Alessia as if he couldn’t look away. Good, Alessia thought. Stare all you want.
He walked toward Drake, his hips swaying slightly, his movements deliberate and graceful. When he reached him, he didn’t hesitate. Standing on his tiptoes, he grabbed the front of Drake’s shirt and pulled him into a hungry, passionate kiss. The room erupted in gasps and whispers, but Alessia didn’t care. All that mattered was the way Drake’s lips felt against his, the way his hands instinctively came up to rest on Alessia’s waist, pulling him closer.
When they finally broke apart, Drake’s face was flushed, his breathing slightly uneven. “Babe,” he said, his voice low and husky. “What’s with the new look?”
Alessia tilted his head, his green eyes narrowing playfully. “Don’t you like it?” he asked, his tone accusatory but teasing.
Drake blinked, his gaze sweeping over Alessia’s outfit again. “No, it’s not that,” he said quickly, his voice stumbling slightly. “It’s just… you look…”
“Just what?” Alessia pressed, his lips curving into a sly smile.
Drake exhaled, his hands still resting on Alessia’s waist. “You look stunning, baby,” he said finally, his voice soft but sincere. “I just wasn’t expecting… this.”
Alessia’s cheeks flushed, his confidence wavering for just a moment as Drake’s words sank in. He looked down, suddenly shy again, but Drake didn’t let him retreat. He gently tilted Alessia’s chin up, his eyes filled with warmth and admiration. “Let’s go to class, okay?” Drake said, his voice gentle as he took Alessia’s hand in his.
Alessia nodded, his earlier boldness replaced by a soft, shy smile. As they walked out of the locker room hand in hand, the room erupted into whispers and murmurs. No one could believe what they had just witnessed. The shy, quiet Alessia had transformed into a confident, daring version of himself, and Drake—the tall, commanding figure everyone admired—had been completely captivated.
The locker room was left in shock, but Alessia didn’t care. He had gotten exactly what he wanted: Drake’s undivided attention. And he wasn’t done yet.
