ALASTOR MORNINGSTAR
The building's busy as I make my way to my office, walking on the makeshift path that was parted for me.
I storm in the room, glaring daggers at the woman before me. I haven't ever seen her in real life, but from the stories I've heard I just know it's her.
"Get Out." I demand coldly.
She clicks her tongue. "Ah ah ah, that isn't any way to talk to an elder is it?" She scolds like I'm a fucking child.
"Look lady, I don't care if your in a fucking deathbed, you get out before I make sure to let you know just how much I'd love for the world to hear your screams."
My dad laughed in a whisper for his next victims, I on the other hand broadcasted their screams on the radio, only the ones I have an undying dispute for of course.
Her eyes widen and I hate the way they remind me of Apollo. I hate the fact they're even remotely related. I hate her eyes yet I would drown myself in his oceans all day. But what calms me is that they're the same eyes just with different souls.
It's the same blue and same pattern, same outline and same eyelashes.
They're identical yet couldn't be more far apart. Hers are full of hatred and are shallower then a kiddie pool. His you could dive in head first and feel like there isn't ever an end to the deep world of his waters.
"Why do you hate me so much?" She asks.
I stay quiet, contemplating if she's serious or not.
"You can't possibly mean that?" I say, staring at her in disbelief.
"What? You can't hate me just because I'm your father's enemy. Can you? I feel like that's a bit unfair don't you think?"
"Are you serious?!" I shout.
"Yes. Besides I need a little help."
"God you have to be another type of mental to honestly believe that I'd ever help you."
She stares at me waiting for me to explain. "You killed my aunt. You killed her before I was even goddamn conceived! I don't have an aunt because of you! My father is hated by the whole world because of you! I don't hate you because your my father's enemy. I despise you for taking away my aunt from me and taking away a mother's love from your own son."
She stares at me wide eyed, swallowing as she does so. "That was a mistake, and my relationship with my son has nothing to do with you-"
Just as I'm about to pounce on the bitch Apollo suddenly runs infront of me with his stupid super speed.
"Alastor calm down. We can talk about it later but I need you to calm down." He stands in between me and her, his arm raised in front of me.
"Apollo" my tone holds warnings and threats I plan to avoid.
"Alastor please" his voice breaks at the end and I finally avert my eyes from her onto him.
"Get out." I practically bark out.
She blinks before facing Apollo. "Let's go-"
"No. You go. He stays. Or better yet. You stay he goes and I get to let out a bit of steam."
She scoffs and walks out the door after sending Apollo a glare, slamming the door on her way out.
"Alastor-"
"Sit." I point to the couch on the corner.
He hesitantly listens as he watches me carefully. He leans his elbows on his knees, watching me pace.
"Alastor look I-"
"SHUT UP! For two seconds just shut up!" I shout out.
I look back at him to see him try to control his breathing as his legs shake.
God you stupid idiot, what's wrong with you?
I quickly run to his side, kneeling on the floor infront of him.
"Apollo.." I say softly.
He ignores me with a shake of his head as he keeps taking deep breaths and counting backwards.
"Darling?" I raise his head to look at me as he slowly flutters open his pretty blues. I notice the few tears in his eyes, basically ready to fall.
His leg is still shaking.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry baby. I'm not mad at you. You didn't do anything wrong I promise. Please talk to me." I plead, kissing his forehead as I get up and sit next to him, taking my hand in his and rubbing circles over it.
He cries harder but instead crashes into my arms.
APOLLO CHEVALIER
I've spent four days with him and he apologized for rightfully getting mad at me.
I've spent more than half my life with an angry abusive mother who hadn't even thought about the words sorry and Apollo in the same sentence.
