Alicia’s POV
I can’t believe that bastard was cheating on me. That omega b***h won’t be able to do that again now that she is dead by my hand. I throw her lifeless body into the pit where the rogues throw all the dead bodies. It surprises me how many corpses are rotting in this mass grave. The smell is awful but it brings a smile to my face knowing how easy it is around her to get people out of your way.
As I walk back to the room I have been staying in I see my sister standing at the door with her arms crossed on her chest tapping her foot impatiently. “Where the hell have you been? I have been looking all over for you.” Amber screeches out. I just rolled my eyes because I knew the only reason she was looking for me was to order me around. You would think with the way she acts that she is the oldest of us.
“If you must know, I was taking care of a problem. What do you want anyway.” I sass back to her.
I open my door and walk in and see that I have a backpack sitting on my bed. I walk to it and open it up to see some clothes and food and water. I look back at Amber with the question in my eyes.
She answers me by rolling her eyes while she says, “You are going on a mission. He wants you to keep that Vampire prick in line. He says that you are just the right person for that job. So I am guessing he expects you to open your legs for the leech like you do for him.”
I am a little pissed that she thinks that is all I do. I am worth more than just my body. I will prove it to them all with this mission and make sure that it is a success. After I get all the details about this mission I head to his office. As I near the office I hear him yelling at someone then when I reach the door the yelling stops and before I can even knock on the door a young omega girl is running out of the room with tears running down her face. I just smirk knowing that I won’t have to deal with this one.
I walk in and see him sitting at his desk. I walk over to him and start to massage his shoulders. He was stiff at first but then he relaxed his shoulders and I heard a groan escape his lips and I couldn’t help the smile. Before long I found myself on my knees pleasuring him and just as we were about to go further there were several knocks on the door. I silently screamed in my head. This has been happening every time I finish sucking him off. There is always someone who needs his attention and I have to settle with relieving myself.
He pulls his pants up and gives me a smirk like he knew exactly what I was thinking. He calls to let the person in and the vampire comes marching in the room. I straighten myself up and stand to leave, but I am stopped when I am told that we would be leaving in the next ten minutes. I nodded and rushed out the door.
I gather up my backpack and get ready to leave when I feel a sense of emptiness in me. I try to call out to my wolf, but I can’t feel her. I try again and again, but I don’t get an answer from her. I shrug my shoulders thinking that she is just blocking me like she always does. She hasn’t been too talkative with me since the night in the restaurant when she warned me to leave that human b***h alone. It got worse when I rejected that pathetic omega mate of mine. I would not settle for the lowest rank in the pack. Come to think about it, I haven’t shifted in a while. I could probably find some time on this mission to do so.
There is no way that I will walk all that way to the abandoned lands. I am much too important to this pack of rogues than to do that. I wonder if I could convince one of those dirty mongrels to let me ride their back like the queen I should be.
Third person POV
Little does Alicia know that her wolf has been begging the goddess to release her from this prison since the night she rejected her mate. Her wolf Astrea was a kind soul and the goddess had hoped that she would have the happy life that she deserved this time. Poor Astrea has had one bad human counterpart after the other ever since she was brought into existence by the goddess. Each human never listened to the poor wolf and did evil deeds. Each time Astrea suffered more and more each time and the goddess was afraid that if she did not remove her from her human counterpart this time before anything bad happened to her her daughter would be lost without the will to live.
So she granted Astrea’s prayers and removed her from the wicked girl. Selene sat by the river of souls watching and waiting for the right one to place Astrea with. She had to be certain beyond a doubt that this soul would be a perfect match for her. Then as if it slapped her in the face she realized she already had the perfect soul to match her with. She chuckled to herself. Oh this is going to be good. She patted Astrea’s head and just smiled as she thought about what would happen in her daughter’s future. Her eyes held a twinkle when she looked into the river again and a bright new life was just created.
Back in the Dragon clan Blaze and Jessica had just sealed their bond and were basking in the afterglow. It didn’t take long for there to be a knock on the door and Blaze’s father popped his head around the door with a hand over his eyes and said that it was time to get ready for dinner. Blaze growled at his father and threw a pillow at him as his father just laughed and called out “As they say, paybacks a b***h my son.”
